Second Earth Phase-Day 2
Ray set off by first going to the bank to deposit the rest of the money. Stuffing the few Jacks left for expenses, he went to the nearest executive clothes store and rented a suit. "For 48 hours", the sales attendant said and handed it to over to him. If I do manage to buy it, Ray thought.
He waited patiently at the gate of Bourne Inc., as Amsterdam instructed.
Amsterdam: Hello! (Waves at Ray) I hope you didn't wait for too long.
Ray: No(So she's trying to say 2 hours isn't long. Interesting). Where to now?
Amsterdam: My car's here(Motions her chauffeur). This is my chauffeur, Patrick. He'll pick you up every day at 7:30am sharp.
Patrick: Pleased to make your acquaintance, Sir Ray.
Ray: Just call me Ray. (Turns to Amsterdam)What exactly am I doing?
Amsterdam: Oh(giggles) since I loved your calm respectful voice, I thought you could join my personnel of advisors? You like it.
Ray:(Smiles) Yeah, that's actually nice. Thanks Amsterdam.
Amsterdam:(Blushes) Awwwnnnn sharks, you're making me shy.
They sat in the car and Amsterdam gave him a brief history of the business she's running.
Turns out, Amsterdam is the daughter of the infamous Augustus Bourne, the actual owner of the Bourne Inc. She just runs half the business.

Ray's POV
Amsterdam kept on rumbling about the business, I had other things in my mind. Anak had made us fully aware that no one knows we exist, but it feels strange every time Amsterdam talks to me; it's like she knows who I am.
"Ray?". "Oh sorry", I shake my head a little and smile at her, "I was thinking". "I understand", she signs, "Wondering if this job would work out in the first place is tiring you out".
I just smile back, solemnly.
I wonder if coming back into this world was really worth it. Space, time, existence. Is it really that worth it? "Oh by the way Ray, is it ok to pay you on a monthly basis or on a weekly basis?", Amsterdam asked. "Any would do. Why?". "Well for starters, you would have to create a business account. And as and when they may be a loss in the company, all the profits are sent to you for safe keeping", she murmured, " I don't trust anyone in the company, not even my father, and so if I want my life to be put straight and be successful for once in my existence, I must do whatever it takes, even to trust a stranger over my own family".
She fell back into the seat and stared at me. I held her hands(for the first time. She always wears gloves) and looked at her dead in her eyes. "Then trust me", I tell her, realizing that there may be other reasons to my reincarnation.
