All silently waited for David to complete his work. He had his permission to operate on Journee. Her organs were safe as he saw in her films. He cleaned up the wound and now all he had to do was repair the muscles and stitch her up. He used two types of sutures, absorbable for the inner muscles and non-absorbable for the outer layer.
They were out in half an hour and shifted Journee to a private room. David informed everyone that she would be fine within days. The inner sutures would dissolve on their own and he will cut the outer layer after her wound would heal.
Henry, Jack, and Graham went to see Journee inside her room. She was still under the effect of anesthesia and was sleeping it off. After they were sure that she was alright, they left William and Kay alone and went to the precinct.
