Kay and William turned back immediately to find what their kid wanted. Their hearts were ready to jump out of their chests. They were about to leave her to deal with a bomb alone.
"Catch!" she threw her phone at them. Both looked at her puzzled and slightly disappointed, but Kay caught the phone. "I have the crime scene on the phone. I don't want to destroy it while jumping out of the window," she explained.
"I thought she was going to say something like she loves us," William rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, tell me about that," Kay scoffed.
"Oh, come on! That is given. Now, go, go," she shouted. All three nodded at each other. Before William and Kay could reach downstairs, they heard the clinking and tinkling of the glass. Within seconds of that sound, they heard a loud thud signifying the fall of the lamp.
They immediately grabbed the couch and ran outside. Journee kept waiting for them to get the couch in position. There was no time to waste now. The bomb could go off at any minute.
