"Besides the hundred from the first team, there are over a hundred innocent civilians!"
"Boss, I'm begging you on my knees!"
"We can't delay this any longer!"
As the heart-wrenching pleas fell, tears streaking his face, George Lee 'thumped' to his knees on the ground.
The sound of knees hitting the ground also struck a chord in Oliver Walker's heart, causing his departing steps to hesitantly pause.
But after a fierce twitch of the corner of his mouth, he ultimately left 'mercilessly' without heeding George Lee's pleas!
"Boss!"
"I'm begging you on behalf of all the officers and soldiers of the Imperial Guards, isn't that enough?"
"You are the commander of the National Guard!"
In extreme anguish, George Lee didn't notice the few drops of blood on the ground where Oliver Walker had passed by.
