I hope so, Sir! Thankyou for preparing me, YOU'RE MY ANGEL!", Emma said.
"AHAH, I think I am, GOODBYE Emma!", Sir said. "GOODBYE, SIR", I said while feeling accomplished and melancholic. I turned off my laptop. "He really laughed for the first time since we had classes, that was sweet. He never told me his name or anything else, I wonder how he looks like, he was persistent in teaching me, he really is my saviour". I lied on bed smiling, with my hands and legs open and dozed off.
I was covering my eyes when I felt sun rays killing my sleep and my alarm which keeps on buzzing. On the spur of the moment, I realized today is my SAT, I hurriedly woke up and got dressed.
"Mother I am going to give my SAT today!", Emma said to her mother proudly. "I know my beautiful girl, I prepared your favourite breakfast, eat up and knock em dead", her mother said. "Omg, pankcakes! I'll surely knock em out now", Emma said and both laughed dearly.
I drove off to give my SAT. On my way, I had different feelings, I knew I was prepared for it but I still felt nervous because even if I do my best and get rejected, the thought of it was killing me. I drank water. Slowly, I took a long audible breath in and out and said, "Emma, there's nothing to be afraid of. You have got this far by learning for yourself and your mother and there's alot more to go. Whatever the outcome will be out of it, it would be for my good, because everything happens for a reason." By saying that, I felt energetic and relieved.
I came to the hall and did my best on test. As soon I finished my test, I started feeling hungry and I got a notification which was from my mysterious teacher, AS00#$. My pupils widened, "How did your SAT went? *wink*". "What does that wink indicates duh?", Emma said to herself and started typing, "Outstanding, round of applause for you *wink*". He was typing, "I'm glad *wink*".
"My AS00#$ teacher, what is that wink for? Are you testing me on my patience? Shall I applause you more? Or are you showing off your math skills? Whatever!", Emma whispered to herself, turned off her mobile and went home.
I called my mother after going home as she is out for work now and I told her about how exceptional my test went. She has always supported me in everything. After father's death, when I was 5 years old, she took me to South Korea from Boston. She never told me the exact reason for our transfer and promised me to tell everything when I'll turn 20, I'm 19 now and soon will be 20. Emma sighed and said to herself, "I can't wait for you Boston! What mysteries are you hiding?". I hope I'll be accepted for harvard, Emma thought while closing her eyes and dozed off.
After a week, "IT'S FINALLY THE DAY FOR THE ACCEPTANCE LETTER, MOTHER!" Emma said to her mother and both sat close to eachother while staring at the laptop quietly, untill the notification pops up. Emma's eyes widened.
