dimmed black eyes looked up to the large school the school seemed to look like your normal average prestigious highschooler in a big city.
Little did quite a few people know.. it was way far from normal, a school full of only the best demigods, 24 demigods around the world are handpicked to be a student of Meria High.
Of course, they all should have some kind of talent, whether it may be charm, beauty, sports, combat, studies, music, or maybe even life skills.
"Hey! I knew you would be picked! Class president!"A blonde-hair male said with an obvious grin.. walking up to me. The word 'Class president' caught my attention.. as i may or may not know who said it right away.
an exasperated sigh left my lips..
His hand was dead set on my shoulder, trust me, I tried to stop him from even putting a finger on me before.
But he persists, "You too.. Orcan."I responded with an indifferent tone, which gravely contrasts to the demigod's rather energetic manner.
"Orcan?! You promise you would call me by my first name!!"The taller blonde haired male whined childishly.. He was rather annoying, but for some reason i couldn't get rid of him either.. I sighed.
I don't remember making such a promise.
But promise is a promise I guess.
"Fine.. Eric.."I reluctantly spoke, somehow Eric's smile got bigger, his face seems more clear and his eyes lit up.
"Now that's more like it!"Eric would exclaim out, as he finally let go of his hand, though there is now an imprint of a demigod's finger on my blazer.. What a pain.
I looked up at the soft sky, wondering how this would end, "Eric.. It's 6 am, why are you at school two hours early?"I responded as I turned to him.
He was never the type to wake up early for anything, much less school, Eric awkwardly scratched his neck.
"Well.."The blonde male hesitated to pick his words.
"Is this about Urei?"I asked him, I knew for a while that Eric liked Urei, I don't know what Eric sees in such a girl.
But then again, I don't understand him at all.
Eric stared back confused, "Urei?.. Nope, it's about a more important thing.."He responded nervously.. so not about Urei.
I sighed giving up, "Alright then.. Well whatever it is, just don't let it affect me."I shrugged, Eric these days.. he gets more and more confusing then he already was..as I went in ahead of the school building.
Let's continue on with what i was saying, Eric was my middle school classmate, he just so happens to have been handpicked by the Olympic council just like me.
Eric especially being the child of a God, and another mortal. Eric a child of Zeus, the ever known king of all Gods. Everyone knows him. More reasons to fear the God.
I honestly don't see the resemblance or the power Eric held, but maybe he just posses a lot of appearance and traits from his mother.
In fact, Eric is the last demi-god son of Zeus alive (recorded), due to some disclosed information that i can't tell you right now, all of the big three Gods such as Zeus, Hades, and Poesiden only produced one Demigod child. (All recorded records)
I should know, why? Because I'm one of them, I am Kylar, the son of Hades and the beholder of all lives. (Dead lives)
Think of it like necromancy, i can't particularly bring people back from the dead (Trust me I tried), but i can bring some skeleton minions.
And a lot more too, just save that part for next time, anyways, us children of the big 3 Gods are given about certain chances to go to this school, not just because of our rarity, but also because children of the top 3 God's had enormous talent.
A talent that could bring destruction as much as a average God, you're probably saying how lucky I am to hold this much power, but it's really such a pain to deal with.
Being reminded that every step I take will be taken into major consideration by every life in this world.
I began to sigh as I entered the classroom, it stood there with a fluorescent morning shine reflecting in the windows of the classroom.
There were eight chairs neatly and symmetrically placed in the large area of the class. It seems like I'm getting 8 other classmates, 3 classes was what I thought with my calculation.
"Hey..Your not supposed to be in class yet.."A voice behind me exclaimed, i turned around to see a particular tall blue haired male, he stood with a stern structure.
Jeez, what's up with everyone going to school so early? I shot back an indifferent expression, "What's wrong with coming to school a little early?"I replied as we began to glare at each other.
The male put his hand up in defeat, "Calm down, I was only joking.."The male chuckled as the few strands of his short blue hair fell down to his eyes.
"Besides! Who doesn't like to be a little early for things."He continued oh so positively, I stared back at him as if he reminded me of someone. Now we have two himbos in this so called 'prestigious' private school for demigods. Oh great.
"Who are you?''I bluntly said, examining his every little feature down to his shoes and up to his hair. He wore a school uniform just like our school dress code, along with black stud earrings.
A child of a God, but this one was special, I could feel the strength of his presence just being near him.
"I'm Ace!-"Ace exclaimed as I cut him off, now I remember the studies I was forced to do of Greek mythology. It was all hitting at once.
"Ace, only son of Poesiden?"I replied, it was all puzzling up now, this was Ace, the great son of Poesiden right before my eyes.
Of course i shouldn't have been amazed, since i'm the son of one of the big three's too, but i can't help but be amazed that my greek history study finally paid off.
And essentially, it's not Eric.
Ace nodded with a smile, "Yes, I am the son of Poesiden, I was wondering if you remembered me.. But it seems that you remembered me based on something else, Kylar."
My body stood stiff, did I know him before? I couldn't have possibly right? If I did, I know I would've remembered meeting a son of Poesiden. Especially one that was so similar and perhaps as annoying to..Eric.
A queasiness and sick feeling filled my body, my vision hazy.. and Gods did it feel like my head was tearing into two..
