Chapter 110 - Perfect bond

Team Montreal had to spend all day in that city. Until the time of the award ceremony arrived, Professor Marcos had allowed the boys to go have fun in the mall on the back street, seeking them an hour before the ceremony began.

With the absence of only two players, the ceremony was done and the coach took the team to eat in a restaurant where they celebrated their victory. Meanwhile Theodore and Gabriel remained in the infirmary helping Milles when he regained consciousness already at night.

Nicolas was not around when he opened his eyes, and a good explanation of what had happened to a confused Milles was needed. But all that mattered to him was that they had won the qualifiers and nothing serious had happened to him.

― So they went out to eat and didn't even think to wait for me?

― Theodore went with Nicolas to get some esfihas at Habib's for us to eat on the way back. ― Comments Gabriel packing his backpack.

The team had already returned and were waiting for them on the bus. All they had to do was wait for the two omega's to arrive and then they would board back home.

— Ah... what a drama. Just when I'm the captain. ― Whispered the alpha watching the band on his head ― It's gonna suck to have to explain it to my parents. And you, how are you?

― It's just a broken finger. I still have the energy to throw something.

The dark one's sly smile had not gone unnoticed by the alpha, who had only laughed despite the twinge he had felt in his head.

― You don't waste time, silly. Oh, I wish I could cheer myself up like that.

— In fact, it would be good for you to dedicate yourself to your omega. ― Gabriel had said throwing the backpack over his shoulder receiving a suspicious look from his friend ― He got really bad. Like hell.

― Nicolas? Bad? Must be because of the bite...

— Whatever the reason, it doesn't change the fact that you've got him worried. And even if he tries to say otherwise ― Hastened to say the alpha, when Milles was about to contradict him ― he stood by your side until he nearly fainted from hunger. It was hard to get him to go with Theo for food.

Milles couldn't imagine that kind of scene, from Nicolas worried about him to the point of going bad. Genuinely. Maybe it was the bite forcing him to feel that way, since he had lost consciousness for a few hours.

The two alphas soon went to the bus surprised to find the entire team sleeping in the armchairs, even the teacher snored with a blouse covering his face. Silence was comforting, mostly because alpha still felt headaches. The last thing he wanted was to deal with the mess of his team-mates.

He was safe for now.

Sitting on the last bench, Milles closed the curtain and took advantage of the dark bus to rest. But he was soon anxious when the smell of a certain omega announced his arrival.

Theodore sat next to Gabriel and soon shared the small box of esfihas spreading the delicious aroma throughout the bus. Even if the smell was tempting, no one would wake up as tired.

When he felt a movement in the armchair next to him, Milles opened his eyes to find Nicolas head down. Usually he would be taking all the space to lie down, even try to leave his feet in the lap of the blonde, but strangely he remained shrugged and head down holding the box of esfiha in his lap.

It was impossible to see his eyes.

Starting, the bus finally left the gym to follow the city.

Lowering himself trying to see his face, he was surprised with Nicolas turning his head to stop him. Milles peeked his eyes leaning even more and could see his eyes seasick as the bus passed by the illuminated avenue. With the light passing through the gaps in the curtains, Milles could tell that omega was holding his emotions.

Leaving his hand over his head the alpha smiled, feeling the warmth in his chest.

― Don't you care if I'm okay? You can look at me if you like.

― Shut up.

― I wipe away your tears.

― And who says I'm crying?

Milles found the sharp answers amusing, as the voice denounced his condition. He would never admit to being worried. However, the bond they had also transpired the hidden emotions. Taking the box of esfiha and leaving it in the other empty armchair, Milles held Nicolas's arm pulling him towards him.

He had remembered the night his room was invaded, Nicolas being sincere about needing to smell him to calm down. Should he release his scent to him? Or should he feel Nicolas's? He wasn't sure... But he would try.

― I'm still weak and my head hurts so bad. I need your scent.

Without questioning or complaining, Nicolas had sat on his lap cowering in his chest. They had slept together several times, but it was the first time that Nicolas was in his lap like that. He still hid his face, but his fingers closed in the alpha's sweatshirt making clear his state of nervousness. Milles did not hide his smile.

Even his heart had begun to accelerate.

That was definitely a low blow.

― Look at me, Nicolas. You gotta see I'm fine.

― I know, shut up.

― We both know you're lying. Try looking at me.

― I don't want to see your shitty face.

If it were at another time, maybe a few months ago or even a year ago, Milles would have lost his temper and started an argument with the sharp-tongued little one. However things were not as before.

Not even.

He had come to understand the modus operandi of that omega. He knew when his words could be a weapon of attack or defense. When you'd be lying to yourself or just running away from something. Not just thanks to the bite or the instincts that were called all the time.

But because Milles likes Nicolas.

Where else would he run? How long would him deny that feeling? On the court, in the middle of a match, he almost wished that Maicon's head was the ball size the jealousy he had felt. That was a mere idea in his head. Who's to say when his come across someone who was really into that omega.

There have been so many times that he had almost lost control by hearing rude words being directed at Nicolas. It was crazy to feel so many feelings thanks to one person. It was crazy to feel so many feelings.

And if Nicolas had never kissed him on that court, he would have lost those addictive feelings. He would get drunk in other bodies without ever feeling complete as he felt with the omega.

All because Mille loved him.

Lifting Nicolas's face delicately, Milles had finally been able to see those dark eyes thanks to the street lighting. A glimpse of worry and shame that did not match the routine bad mood, but still belonged to him.

Brushing their lips against each other, Milles used his little energy to contain his own desires. He could overpower Nicolas right there, make him touch him and prove how good he were feeling. However, he needed delicacy to deal with that boy. A mastery without equal.

Milles needed to show him that he could not hide. And that he would never laugh at his sensitivity.

Finally having the omega taking the initiative for a warm kiss, Milles sighs relieved. His hands now gained warmth by clinging to his shoulders in sheer despair. Keeping calm, the blonde stroked his cheeks until his fingers touched the tears that were finally released.

They mingled with the kiss bringing the salty taste of a teenage boy who was feeling concern for someone else for the first time. A boy who had always had to be strong to protect others, but who had faced his own frailty that day.

Milles could feel every emotion of Nicolas and knowing that they involved his person, his heart was racing inside his chest. That hot, tingling feeling only grew when he felt Nicolas's hands over his face. Although Nicolas did not dare to squeeze it or touch the track around his head.

What could he do to make him feel how well he was? Or to show that feeling he had in his chest?

The answer was obvious.

Now that he had admitted to himself the feelings for that omega, he would not have to restrain himself.

Moving away from the kiss, the alpha murmured against Nicolas's lips.

― I'll bite you, but if you don't wanted, you can push me away.

He had felt in his hands Nicolas petrify on his shoulders. Facing him in the eyes without breaking the distance, Milles perceived to be deeply analysed. Leaving him in the midst of his reflections, the alpha had opened Nicolas's blouse and lowered it, discovering his arms. Then removed the regatta of the team uniform, leaving his left shoulder to show.

He stroked his soft and smooth skin, which he had already enjoyed several times. His smell had gotten a little stronger, especially when Milles leaned in to deposit a kiss in the region. Nicolas shuddered, but did not move.

When Milles licked his skin, he heard him panting. The long fingers of the omega went to the hair near the nape, pressing it against him. The signal Milles needed.

And so he had sunk his teeth into that warm, pale skin, conveying the intense desire to connect with that omega that belonged to him. Now the bond between them was perfect.
