Chapter 105 - Charisma's back

Definitely sleeping with your omega made an alpha feel better. Thanks to Nicolas's evening visit to his home, Milles had been able to get enough rest. In fact, the omega had exhausted its last energies by seducing him, forcing Milles to sleep deeply to the point of waking up almost at noon on Friday. And as he ran in the bedroom getting ready to go to practice, the little one had an ironic smile on his lips enjoying the mess he himself had created.

― Are you sure you're going with regatta? There's some marks right there on your arm.

Milles had lowered his eyes by the arms noticing the hickeys left by Nicolas. So purple and obvious it would be hard to tell if it was caused by a fierce fight or a heated kiss.

― What is it! My back is already burning because of you and you still mark me like that?

Nicolas laughed fun avoiding being scandalous, since his presence was not yet noticed by the other Mckenzie. Although the marks tasted the intense night those two had, Milles was too late to change and still wanted to watch the output of a certain omega. Taking his backpack and putting on his sneakers, Nicolas sat at the window looking at Milles.

― Are you confident about winning tomorrow's match?

― I doubt very much that the team has any difference, but I get the message.

Remaining silent for a moment, Nicolas shook his head releasing a loud sigh.

― On Saturday because it is final will play five sets. Can you gaining time?

Gaining time? Staring at those sleepy, dark eyes Milles processed the information, and then a Rogue smile popped up on his lips.

― But of course.

Shaking his head, Nicolas waved over his shoulders as he retraced his path the night before. Milles watched him from the window keeping his ears open in the noises coming from the house. Only when he saw Nicolas climb the wall and arrive on the street did he leave the house, and finally go to school.

He didn't have time to be the captain he wanted to be, since time was too short. The team was still used to the way Nicolas, even Milles himself, making rearrangement difficult. Unfortunately we could not wait patiently everything to organize itself naturally.

For that, he would use his influence.

The moment he had stepped into the school gym, he had found the assembled team warming up. The technician arched his eyebrow and then smiled in his direction calling him with his hand.

― You're late, Mckenzie! Come on!

― Yes sir.

Throwing the bag to Theodore as he ran to warm up, the alpha already left his smell in evidence taking advantage of the absence of omega that had been kind in storing their belongings in his closet. Gabriel shook his head warming up next to him, pointing at the marks on his arm.

― Good night out, Captain?

― Little son of a bitch, if I wasn't late I'd finish him off. ― Growl Milles.

— Got all mad yesterday when we called to go eat, but in the end party even more than us, is not your hypocrite? ― Complained Thunder, hugging Milles by the shoulders. ― So who was the lucky one who tamed the beast yesterday?

― You'll have to beat me in practice if you want to know. ― Blink the alpha out of the hug.

To the surprise of the whole team, the old Milles had returned. Relaxed and charismatic, despite having his constant alpha presence attracting other players.

After Theodore placed the water bottles on the other side of the court, the coach divided the players into two rows so that their serve would be trained. And it was no surprise that Gabriel and Milles were the only ones to get all their loot right.

― It's crazy trying to win there. I only got it right once!

― If you win I'll make a barbecue at home and release the pool still.

Milles's encouragement was quite certain, the other boys struggled to hit the bottles. However the largest amount was the alpha blonde. After the exercise the team was divided into two teams that played five sets.

Following Theodore's instructions, the team finally began to pick up on the new techniques. They trained with left-handed and right-handed attackers, who made the ball move in different ways. The liberos had to deal with the incoming force in their arms, and find a way to prevent the balls from going out.

Unlike the previous weeks when Milles was desperate on the edge of the cliff, that Friday his energy was different. He remained on the cliff, but with his back to the danger awaiting the arrival of hope. His willpower when receiving the backfield raises of Gabriel and Bruno were assisted by his colleagues impressed.

At halftime, while enjoying a snack that Theodore had taken to the team, Milles sat down with his friends watching the omega massage Gabriel's calves.

― This is the first time I've seen you cramp, Biel.

― Only talk to me after the pain has passed, please. ― He would claim the alpha, releasing another groan when his calves are tight.

― You have to warm up properly, if it doesn't hurt at all ― Fought Theodore.

― Enjoying the time, huh Theodore what did you think of training today?

The omega had looked at the blond captain and then returned to pay attention to the massage he was doing on the lover. He seemed to ponder his answer, having a slight blush on his cheeks. It would be the first time Milles asked for his opinion and yet so openly in front of the team.

The alpha had not even noticed such a point, wanted to know his opinion genuinely.

― Better than yesterday, for sure. But they're still disorganized. The adversary will use it against us.

― Are you joking faggot?

Although two alphas avoided trouble, it would not mean that Theodore would be respected by the other alphas. In particular Thunder, who seemed to answer people with more courage after having fought with Nicolas. It was so clear that the boy was taking advantage of the absence of Nicolas to create confusion, that Theodore did not pay attention to him when he spoke.

This did not mean that Gabriel would not listen or turn a blind eye. Their sharp and angry looks were directed without any disguise, leaving even Milles with goosebumps. Definitely would never want to face the alpha when angry. It could be an equal to equal fight with your Omega Mariner.

Did he attract fierce people to his social circle? Milles thought so.

— That's what I thought ― Milles intervened biting the sandwich, pulling Theodore's bag looking for another packed sandwich. ― That Maicon always gave me the impression of wanting to defeat the model doorman.

― They've been fighting each other since the beginning, it's an old feud. I think there's only been one time they've faced each other in a final.

― Nicolas? ― Asked Bruno, a first-time friend of Theodore, who agreed with the head. ― Wow, so he's been in competitions with those?

― Always. Nico always played volleyball, would not doubt if he followed the career.

― Who won the match? ― Wanted to know Milles, biting the new sandwich.

― Nico's team, but without him participate. ― Laugh Theodore to finish the massage and help Gabriel to sit.

― What do you mean... you didn't participate?

― They fought two days before the dispute and as it was Nico who started, won a suspension.

Milles did not hide his smile from his face. It was so obvious and expected of that heated omega to yield problems even at an early age. For some inexplicable reason he felt proud.

― And who won the fight?

Theodore smiled at the blonde.

― Nico, of course.

Laughing stuffy, the Alpha returned to eat his snack imagining his omega coming out in fights. He should imagine how hot he must have been when he was younger. If at the age of sixteen he could feel pleasure from punching a person in the face, it was likely always so.

It couldn't be different.

A ringtone interrupted the conversation, Theodore took the device from his pocket arching his eyebrow with the name that appeared on the display.

― Speaking of the devil. I'll be right back.

Interval soon came to an end and the boys returned to training. This time they needed to hit some gaps since the next day the match would occur.

When he left the school gym later, Milles took a deep breath hoping the next day would be quiet enough to guide his team.

Well... at least he got it right.
