― I can't believe I can't really walk.
― I can't believe I could only do that in the third round.
Nicolas had wrapped his arms around Milles' neck about to strangle him, but the slightest of movements already made him whine in pain. Opening a victorious smile, Milles set the captain on his back holding his legs as he carried him through the already dark school stealthily.
It had been a great luck that when they left the dressing room there was no one around. Because Nicolas definitely could not walk, Milles carried him on his back sneaking through the corridors of the school attentive to the voices of Professor Marcos coming near the dressing room.
Spotting two cleaning women running along with the teacher, Milles hid behind a wall holding Nicolas' legs tightly. They would probably have seen the small damage in the locker room, yet the alpha was unwilling to remain there to hear complaints from adults.
Not when he had an omega on his back, cursing him when he turns his victorious smile.
— You zooboomafoo from hell, I'm gonna wipe that little scrotum smile off your face when I recover. I'm gonna make a voodoo doll out of you and curse every generation of you, and that won't even be able to cure my anger...
Milles laughed amusingly at the various curses that were directed at him by omega. That's how he liked to see Nicolas, cursing him trying to annoy him without becoming a mad dog. A thousand times to hear those curses than to see him so angry, or worse, crying.
― You're talking too much to someone who should be tired.
— Shut up! ― Growl Nicolas, soon cursing to feel the kick in his ass forcing him to be quiet on the wide back of Milles. ― Son of a bitch, you know what kindness means, don't you?
― You should have believed you when I said I wouldn't let you walk.
— You bastard, how am I gonna play tomorrow if I'm all fucked up like that? Aah ah ah ah ― Groan Nicolas to feel more kicks, giving up once again to struggle and laying his head on the shoulder of Milles. ― I give up, I will die. Hm. I will certainly die. Hahaha, ah I see the devil waving at me.
― Then it must be some relative of yours. And stop talking loudly if they won't find us.
Getting to the back yard, Milles had followed the wall where there were bushes and trees that could hide if necessary. Every now and then the alpha would freeze at the nearby tiny sound. Attentive, only when silence calmed him would he walk again.
― I'm screwed. Very screwed up. And there's something running down my ass.
― Don't even come I've cleaned you up.
― You don't carry a condom, do you?
― If I knew I was gonna leave you on all fours for me, I'd definitely have some box in my backpack.
Nicolas's arms definitely wrapped around Milles' neck, squeezing him until he heard him choke.
― Who's on all fours? Huh? I don't remember picking you up, you piece of shit.
The grip was soon gone when the omega had again felt pain. And so Milles was finally able to approach one of the gates of the open school.
― At the time you were so happy that you made out, moaning like that.
― Unable to contest, tomorrow I take your life. ― Grumbled Nicolas in a yawn.
― There's no lookout at that gate, is there? I think we can get away like that.
— It's for guys who study at night, the guard must be walking down the street to see if there is a student in sight before closing the gate ― Murmured Nicolas, pointing the indicator to a dead end street. ― Go there, there is a vacant lot that we can cross to get to the street from home.
Obediently Milles had followed Nicolas's lead without having trouble finding the vacant lot. With the grass high there, they managed to hide when they saw the night watchman passing by with his flashlight looking around. Only by seeing him turn the street did Milles abandon the hiding place by adjusting Nicolas on his back.
And just as the little bastard said, it was the street of his house. Milles had recognized the low wall house that at night seemed haunted bad. Swallowing hard, the boy had passed through the gate still afraid of being caught by someone.
― Your parents aren't home?
― I live with my mother, and she's working. Relax.
From Nicolas's tone of voice, the Alpha realized that he would fall asleep at any moment. So he hastened to get to the door of his house and down the omega of his back to look for the key, finding it in his backpack. After a few attempts, he had managed to open the door, but had to carry Nicolas again since he had refused to take a step if he wanted to.
― Admit that you want me to carry you up and down like this.
― That's what a donkey is for. ― Answered the omega, pointing to the hallway of the house. ― To my room.
― Would you like a good night kiss too?
― I'm gonna commit murder, I'm serious.
Laughing amusingly, Milles leaned against the entrance door and followed the corridor of the house until he reached Nicolas's room. And just like the last time he was there, he smelled the omega spread all over the room.
The only difference was that Nicolas was no longer sick, and the two had already crossed the line. They were at a different level in their relationship, of which Milles still had no idea what it would be. Especially after what they'd done in the locker room.
Laying the omega on the bed, Milles had left his backpack in some corner and then stretched his arms. His body was heavy and tired, not only for the effort of his insane desires, but for always being on alert until they left school.
Nicolas moved minimally mumbling when pulling the covers and sinking into the pillow. Practically curled up like a cat looking for a warm place. With sleepy eyes, the omega had watched the alpha lift the covers in a silent invitation.
― What was it?
― Lay down there.
Dropping a muffled laugh, Milles denied with his head.
― I'm going home, relax.
― I know you're tired, I'm feeling it from the bite. You can sleep here at home and you'll be the first to come to school tomorrow.
Powerless to argue, Milles sat on the edge of the bed still fearful. Sleeping at someone's house was nothing new. The novelty was the person being a boy, omega whose name was Nicolas. Especially knowing that when they woke up and set foot in school the next day, they'd be screwed together.
It was an adventure to be with Nicolas.
Remembering the reason that put him in that situation, Milles had looked from the corner at the omega that was staring at him fighting sleep.
It had been a great surprise to discover that that omega-bearer would be envious of his best friend. Who felt needy, desiring someone on his side. Nicolas was aware of his temperament that drove people away, not being anyone who could stand to be on his side.
Now he could understand the size of the nails hidden in Thunder's words. And how hurt that omega could be.
Lying next to Nicolas, facing him, Milles returned his gaze keeping quiet.
― You lost your ass in my face? ― Your forehead was growling.
Milles had let out a nasal laugh, pulling the blanket over Nicolas.
― You're the one who lost yours to me today, you sweet tooth.
Nicolas's cheeks instantly gained a reddish hue, muttering curses as he closed his eyes trying to ignore the alpha's presence. But for Milles that was a memorable moment of such unprecedented scenes he had enjoyed.
He saw that little guy being emotional in different ways, and in the end allowed him to stay with him. Nicolas had let Milles hug him, kiss him and give him pleasure just when he felt more emotionally unstable. Perhaps the big surprise was not the sheer desire that was finally healed, but how conscious Milles had remained at that moment.
It was he who had been with Nicolas.
It was he who touched him, kissed him and gave him pleasure.
Not your instincts. Not because of the bite.
But because of himself.
Stretching his hand to fit it into the face of the omega, Milles sighs as he turns to open his eyes and stare at him drowsy. Nicolas was still warm and his skin was so soft.
― Are you still lonely?
― I won't answer you.
Milles laughed leaving a touche on Nicolas's forehead.
― Short miserable, not even to be honest you're good. It's good to lie to me when you've already bit me? I know you're feeling good about me.
― Then why the fuck do you ask, you tapir?
Opening the charismatic and beautiful smile, Milles overflowed the joy to surprise that omega.
― To hear you admit you're in mine.
Nicolas had not responded, until he had closed his eyes again to sleep. Words were completely expendable when Milles was able to feel the comfort the connection provided.
Earlier he had yelled at him, asking him to look at him and pay attention to his presence, for he was there with him. Now he was noticed by that omega.
When the two boys finally fell asleep, Nicolas had snuggled up to in the arms of Milles, who had held him sharing the warmth of his body. As if they fit together made pieces of puzzles, the two soulmates took another step towards the most sincere feelings ever felt before.
