In the gunny bag, Laurent could feel someone tying her wrists and her ankles with robes. When they dragged her to the open deck, they pulled the gunny- bag out, she could see half of the Vienga's sky pirates were arrested, and the rest of Vienga's sky pirates, she had no idea what happened to them.
"You're not a sky pirate! We will never be a flunkey of the realm!" A familiar voice shouted out loud to Captain Clount, he is Arthur; the youngest sky pirate on the Vienga flying ship.
"Then.." Clount paused unhurriedly. "what are things we serve?"
"We serve gold, money, and treasure!" Arthur shouted vigorously to Clount.
"Yes, I do," said Clount. Daren pays me more than the most precious treasures that your ship ever finds, more than all of you try so hard to get a treasure or the dragon...then tell me how I am not the sky pirates?" Clount raised one of his eyebrows, ridiculed the little boy, and then turned to give an order to his man loudly.
"Throw him down!" Laurent looked at Arthur who was dragged to throw out of the ship. Laurent look after him, even down there was the water but with this high it was impossible to survive.
"Listen, everyone! Now your captain might be a dead fish. I, Captain Clount who is very kind to my men will give you a chance to make your choice. Work for me or die with your Captain."
Laurent with her hands and legs were tied, she moved herself to Andrei and whispered to him.
"Where is Uhezga" Andrean didn't answer yet, Captain Clount walked in front of her, squinted at her. He might hear what she whispered.
"You must want to know where is your beloved captain, right?"
Once Clount used to see her at the Fire Feet Racing. Clount even offered her to work with Magus which was the first rank for speed at that time, but she rejected.
"Now you should kneel and beg me. Perhaps, I will let you be my Fire Feet in Magus." Instead of kneeling down and beg him, Laurent spit on his coat, made him kicked at her womb angrily.
"Traitor! You're no sky pirates!" Laurent shouted at him and got another big kick from him. When he would kick again, Andrean leaned to her to get that kick instead.
"Oh! You want to protect him? Great, I will grant your wish." Clount kicked him again and again until he ran out of his anger. Until Andrei was pissing blood out, that evil eyes looked at him with satisfaction.
"Tie them together" Didn't have to wait for the next order. Clount's men dragged both of them to the bow. Andrean hardly walked on the board because he was hurt.
Laurent could feel her heartbeat, just trying to hear the sound of the waterfall calmed her down.
"Don't be afraid, you'll be safe," Andrean told her. No one came to push them down but Andrean let himself fell down. Laurent who wasn't ready yet fell weightlessly down. Andrean was was under her body because his weight was heavier than her. She tried to change position but it was not working, Andrean was still falling like that and he was facing the water.
Looked at the bubbles of the mighty flowing river, she hopes it could decrease the force while Andrean was hitting the water. Now he lost his consciousness. Sinking in the flowing river, Laurent was untying the robe Rapidly flowing river flew them together with no direction. Laurent was trying to swim to the bank, one hand tried to grab the stone and grass from the bank while another hand was holding Andrean's shirt very tight but she accidentally hit the stone in the river. Her blood bleeding out from her head ran into her eyes made her blind and she accidentally hit another stone again. That hit made her head screwed for a while and her hand was slipped from Andrean's shirt.
Andrean has flowed away in the Eireedar River.
"Andrean!!!" Laurent madly screamed out. In the dark, there was only a blue star shining up there. She saw Andrean over there, so she tried to swim there to reach him. Just only one palm span far from him to reach, she saw Andrean get caught in a riptide and disappeared.
"Andrean. No!" She was crying out. This was the first time she cried out; this was the great sorrow in her life. Just only she could reach him, but she couldn't.
Laurent kept swimming in the river for a while until she was exhausted, so she closed her eyes, let the torrent of water flow her into water. She heard the sound of Red Blood echoing in her head. 'You gonna die, you all gonna die!'
Perhaps, everything which happened to her and everyone was the dragon's curse.
