"I won't be a coward like you are" Alice said raising her head
"You can't totally call me a coward, I was just scared" Esther said calmly
"Yes, you are. You and your parents are absolute cowards" Alice said again getting up.
"I'm sorry for what I've done but I promise to help you get out of this" Esther said getting up too.
"Oh really, do you know another way to be free from this?" Alice asked sarcastically
"The shaman said that there was no other way but she said that the other method could only be used if the demon had broken a rule" Esther replied.
Alice looked at her surprised "If the demon had broken a rule?"
"Yes, I heard her said that" Esther replied looking carefully at Alice " have you ever heard that"
"You know what?, How do we get to this Shaman?" Alice asked still surprised.
"My parents are out of town, they know the way but if I suddenly ask them for directions to her, they'll never give it to me, but what are you trying to know?" Esther asked.
"I think there might be a way to stop this godless demon" Alice said " Try to talk to your parents for me while I go home to make some more research"
"Okay, I'll try." Esther replied
Alice turned to go, Esther held her hand "Are we cool yet" she asked with pleading eyes.
"For now, I guess" Alice said and walked away.
She headed straight home to her laptop but when she got to the laptop, the site where she read about the ouija board was no more "This can't be, no way" she said shakily, she typed on her search history but everything was gone too.
Suddenly, she heard the voice laughing, she looked behind and saw the shadow moving in the wall then a creature jumped out of the wall, it was like a dog but it's head was distorted and it had sharp teeth that couldn't fit completely in it's mouth, it snarled as it walked slowly to Alice, it's saliva filled the ground as it took each step. Alice walked back fearfully as the creature approached "is it pretty?" the voice asked "Be careful, it gets mad if you don't compliment it"
Alice realizing this was a ploy shouted "That's like the ugliest thing I have ever seen". The creature disappeared and the voice laughed again "just know that you can't beat me" it said, then the shadow on the wall was gone.
Alice took a minute to breathe and then she rushed back to her computer "Where did the site go to?" she asked confused, the demon must have manipulated all these.
She fell asleep that night troubled, she had a dream she was walking with Mary across the hallway in their house when a very scary and tall hand came from one of the room and dragged Mary into the room, Alice screamed Mary's name and ran to the door but it was shut, the dream strengthened her to fight the demon because it reminded her how the demon had killed her sister.
Esther ran to her the moment Alice arrived in school, I was able to get the Shaman's number from my parents. She sent me an email on everything about the ouija board. Esther brought out her phone and showed it to Alice.
"Turns out that when the demon breaks any rules of engagement with humankind, you can summon a Nephtila, something like the demon police force and then they inflict all the punishment that have been listed on the demon"
"A demon police force?, Alice asked "what have I gotten myself into?"
Esther pointed to a part of the email "here's the spell needed to summon the police demon?".
"Let's do it tonight" Alice said looking at Esther. Esther nodded.
Esther was at Alice's house in the evening and they sneaked out with some of the materials needed for the summoning of the Nephtila. Alice knew she couldn't involve her parents. One of the requirements was to find a large area preferably in the woods, a large field and the spell must be done under the full moon. Then they needed to light candles in a circle then place a black paper in the middle of the candle. One of them was to strike a match or any other thing that could make a spark as she walked around the candle saying "protector of the rules of hell, will you not come now that your rules are being broken?" until Nephtila appears.
They got everything ready and then Alice started striking the matches while Esther stood close by watching.
She had barely struck the second match when a very terrible wind began to blow around her, it carried up and crashed her into a tree. Esther shouted "No, leave her alone"
The shadow appeared now and it shouted "I told you, you can't beat me!"
Now I ask while you answer, that's all that's going to happen tonight"
The wind lifted her up again and below her a fiery hole opened up like the first time. Alice covered her eyes as the heat started getting to her. Esther just watched in fear
"Are you jealous of Esther" the voice asked. Alice didn't answer, the wind started pulling her closer to the flame.
"Sometimes, sometimes" Alice answered. The wind lifted her up again.
"Which do you prefer, chocolate or vanilla ice cream?" the voice asked
"Jesus Christ" Alice asked "are you really asking me that?"
"I told you, I'm asking the questions and you're answering"
