Chapter 4 - Werewolf Tribe and Blackwater Town

After sending Vladimir and the five hotheads away, Lind stayed in his room, trying to use the simplest Blood Magic.

Blood Bat Transformation.

Vladimir and Darkridge had both used this magic just now, and its effect was to turn into a bat. Although Lind no longer had any blood, this simple Blood Magic could still be used.

As soon as he thought of using magic, he felt that his body was deforming. His bones and flesh were shifting, and his body was being compressed by a force. In the next second, his vision became blurry, but his hearing became abnormally sensitive. He could also hear many details that he could not hear previously.

Bats had poor eyesight, but they could hear ultrasonic waves that humans could not sense.

Lind controlled his body and flew above his territory.

At this moment, he had the perception of a bat and could determine the existence of obstacles in front of him through ultrasound.

After circling the entire castle, Lind returned to his room and dispelled the Blood Magic.

The next second.

His body returned to normal and he resumed his human form.

At this moment, Lind finally believed that he had really transmigrated to a world with extraordinary powers.

Lind sat in his lord's seat and lowered his head as he began to ponder for a long time.

There were two main dangers for him now. One was the werewolf tribe, and the other was the demon hunters of Blackwater Town.

Before he could use Blood Magic, he could not fight these two opponents head-on.

However, even if he was given the Demonized Blood Millet Flower, it would take two months to grow to maturity.

Two months was enough for the werewolves and demon hunters to find him.

Lind wasn't going to sit around and wait. He decided to start fighting back.

Lind rang the bell in his hand and called Vladimir over again.

Not long after, the Blood Bat that Vladimir had transformed into flew in through the window of the ancient castle and landed in front of Lind.

"Esteemed lord, what can I do for you?"

Vladimir asked elegantly.

"What do you know about the werewolf tribe around us and the demon hunters in Blackwater?" Lind asked.

Since he wanted to formulate a battle plan, he naturally had to understand his enemies.

Unfortunately, his predecessor was a complete idiot. Even though that guy had lived in this territory for more than 200 years, he knew little about the other forces around the territory.

He had no idea how many people there were, who their leaders were, who the experts were, or what they were good at.

He could only consult his butler.

When Vladimir heard Lind's words, he was slightly stunned and asked, "Lord, are you going to conquer this land?"

Lind was speechless. Conquer? In his current situation, it would be good enough if he could keep his life.

However, he did not show such emotions in front of the butler. He only pretended to be nonchalant.

"I have to know something about our neighbors."

Vladimir bowed to Lind. "I understand, my lord. That's part of my job."

"There are two werewolf tribes in the north. The tribe further north is called the Frost Plains Wolf Tribe. This tribe has already penetrated deep into the Frost Plains Empire, hence its name. The chief of the Frost Plains Wolf Tribe is called Telades. His left eye was injured when he was young and he lost his vision, so he often wears a black eyepatch. He has two children and a daughter. The elder child is called Wood, the younger child is called Hambo, and the youngest daughter is called Effani."

"The environment of the Frost Plains Wolf Tribe is rather harsh. They advocate martial strength and are cruel by nature. Hundreds of years ago, they ruled the Makar Forest with the Forest Wolf Tribe. Later, they were expelled by Lord Dracula. Now, they are trapped in the Godforsaken Land."

"Wait, what is the Godforsaken Land?" Lind heard a completely unfamiliar word.

Vladimir shrugged and said, "It's an extremely cold place that's always filled with snowstorms. Legend has it that it's a place where the gods exiled prisoners in ancient times, but who knows? That might just be a legend. Back then, when Lord Dracula wanted to establish his territory here, the Frost Plains Wolf Tribe tried to attack. However, they were defeated by Lord Dracula and were finally exiled to the Godforsaken Land. It's been more than two hundred years."

"After all these years, didn't they ever think of coming back?" Lind asked, puzzled.

"Because Lord Dracula set up a barrier there to punish them. They wouldn't be able to pass through the barrier in two hundred years," Vladimir said as if he knew everything.

Hearing this, Lind's expression changed slightly.

"But it's already been more than two hundred years."

"Don't worry, my lord. After living in that barren land for two hundred years, there cannot be many people left in the Frost Plains Wolf Tribe. They are nothing to be afraid of. Moreover, even if they come to take revenge, they are not your match."

Vladimir's tone was very respectful, but Lind felt guilty.

If only Vladimir knew that he could not use any other Blood Magic other than transforming into a blood bat.

He wondered how the butler would feel.

"What about the other tribe?" Lind asked.

Vladimir nodded slightly and continued.

"The tribe that is relatively south is called Forest Wolf Tribe. They have been living in the Makar Forest for more than a thousand years. They are the original people of the forest. They believe in the Ancient Forest God. Compared to the Frost Plains Wolf Tribe, they are relatively peaceful and stand aloof from worldly affairs. Back then, when Lord Dracula wanted to establish his territory here, they did not have any conflict with us. They are relatively a peace-loving tribe."

"The leader of the Forest Wolf Tribe is called Joann. However, because their tribe doesn't welcome outsiders, that's all I know."

Lind nodded.

It seemed that the Forest Wolf Tribe could be roped in between the two werewolf tribes.

As for the Frost Plain Wolf Tribe, because of the grudges from back then, it was basically impossible to reconcile. According to the way the two tribes did things, the werewolves who had expanded recently should be those of the Frost Plain Wolf Tribe.

"What about Blackwater Town?" Lind asked again.

When Vladimir heard this name, he smiled bitterly.

"My lord, the existence of Blackwater Town is related to the Church of Light."

"Why is it related to the Church of Light?"

"Originally, Blackwater Town was just a small town on the border. There were no resources nearby, and there was nothing to gain. However, 30 years ago, the Archbishop of the Church of Light brought the Pope's order to Blackwater Town and established the Northern Church in Blackwater Town. Blackwater Town gradually developed and became the northern center of adventurers."

When Lind heard Vladimir's words, he immediately had a headache.

The matter actually involved the Church. The trouble was getting bigger and bigger.
