The phantom dagger was said to be a legendary dagger that was wielded by a peak S+ Villain that was in one of the 5 in the list of the worst criminals. That villain gained the name Asura due to the fear he installed on the people...
Asura was one of the most hated villains by the awakeners and normal civilians both alike due to him being the main reason that villains were able to go crazy in the open confidently which was a nightmare to everyone since there weren't enough people to stop them... However, that all ended when the former association leader himself alone ambushed Asura and his 8 subordinates alone. Asura and two of his subordinates were killed while all of the others managed to escape but are suspected to be dead due to having heavy injuries before fleeing. This also resulted in the death of the Association leader which freightened the Association as they lost the only SS ranker. They soon managed to come back stronger than ever due to gaining another SS ranker through the support of the entire Association and them being the people that killed Asura.
But... What people don't know is that Asura is alive and also managed to survive after breaking through to SS- Rank.
I've met him a few times in my previous life and its because of this that I knew how fearsome he could be, and this dagger... was also said to be Asura's main weapon.
What I don't get though is the fact that this dagger is being auctioned... The Association wouldn't even let this item be given away in the first place and try to take it themselves... could it be that they're auctioning it due to the heavy pressure they are taking from prominent people and hungry organisations.
Hmm So they're trying to get a better gain by auctioning it off huh...
I Inwardly thought of as I was looking at some of the vip's crazily bid...
"1.5 Billion!" said a person in gold coloured rich clothes.
"Ha 1.5 Biliion? is that all you have? Haha 2 Billion!!!"

"Hmph 4 Billion!"
everyone was shocked since a low tiered S rank artifacts would be around 1 billion while a good normal one would be over 3 billion and the better ones being priceless but it hasn't even been over 5 minutes and it's already over 3 billion. however most of them soon understood that it is completely normal due to the item being auctioned is the Venomous Dagger as they all gulped in horror just by being reminded of it.
"Hmph this dagger is ours! 8 Billion!!!"

The Rowdy auction immediately quieted down as everyone looked at who it was. 8 billion? just how many people can afford that and even if some can, would they really spend most of their fortune on a item and let themselves be crippled?.
The person was in the best Vip room which was made for the most important people... it's a room better than even Albert Grace!!!. everyone was shocked due to the amount of people that are allowed to go into that room could be counted in one hand.
"Sir Richard... are you sure about this? We are still waiting for more of the money to arrive here to have a sure win in this auction... It'll be big trouble if you fail on getting it... Don't you remember what the Association said? they are dead set on getting this!!!"
"Calm yourself... do you think that I don't know what I'm doing? this is a better tactic to scare everyone and the fact that Im in this room is also terrifying my competitors. I will definitely win heh." said a fairly handsome man with short black hair.
"S - Sorry about that Sir, please forgive my ignorance, you have enlightened me." said the person next to him.
"Hmph it's fine if you understand that, this Dagger is mine heh" Richard said with a smirk
however...
"9 Billion!!!" said someone in the open area wearing a black cloak with an owl mask.
"Huh???!!!" this greatly shocked Richard as he didn't expect someone to bid over him not to mention that the person clearly didn't want others to know who he was yet was revealing that much money.
".... 1- 10 Billion!" Richard shouted before ordering the person next to him "quickly get the location of the person bringing the money!!!"
"I've been trying sir but we haven't been able to get in touch with him!"
"Huh what are you talking about, hurry up an-" Richard shouted frustratedly before stopping himself in shock as he heard the cloaked man again.
"15 Billion!"

Interesting... was what I thought of as I was walking out and remembered what happened just a bit before. someone was able to defeat the Association in getting that item and they were doing it so openly

that person was clearly strong... his presence alone was enough to threaten many.
Guess I should start to get serious on what I have to do. I'll do as much as I can before the seals on my main body are destroyed hehe. that way i'll already have a good foundation even before I fully return hahaha.
