Lucas stretched his hands and wrapped them around Kali's waist. Kali placed her head on Lucas's shoulder, while Lucas put his arm around her.
Her soft skin's smell reached Lucas's nostrils, reminding him of the past.
Kali let out a small sigh, "I missed you too, Lucas."
Lucas looked into Kali's eyes and saw the same expression on her face he used to see every time they were together. He remembered how she would laugh whenever he teased her. He remembered all the memories that he shared with her, and he realized how much he actually missed her.
He hugged her tighter.
"You're the only one I have here..." He paused for a second and inhaled more air, "the only one I trust..." He added.
Lucas felt Kali's tears falling down her cheeks. He wiped them away with his thumb.
"Why are you crying?" Lucas asked.
"Because you're crying," Kali whispered.
"Guys don't cry, Kali...." Lucas said in a low voice.
