After thirty minutes of riding in mild speed, they emerged out of the treeline unto the main road. As soon as they dismounted, Anthony went to the virtual shop and bought their mode of transportation. He couldn't do it in the village, as the narrow trail was unfit for anything larger than a horse.

Out of thin air, a large wagon appeared in front of them. Not only Irene, but also Anthony, was surprised. He had seen the dimensions in the description, but had no idea how actually large it was.

The wagon came with two horses, and two because a single horse wouldn't be able to pull such a large wooden structure. It was two thirds the length of the house they were staying at, and was about three feet across. It also necessitated four massive wooden spoked wheels, reinforced by iron rings.

The way in was a door on the rear, which had foldable stairs.

Inside was enough space to contain a proper living room. The half near the exit was empty and could contain a table and some chairs. The idea was most tempting because of the windows on each side.

The other half, had two seats running along on each side, each of which could accommodate six passengers. The seats could be modified into beds, given their length, while the space between could contain a crib for the baby. There were also two windows in that half.

"What do you think?" Anthony worded out his modification plans to Irene.

"It sounds good, but… never mind, I think what you had in mind sounds good." Irene chuckled nervously.

"No, you look like you have some ideas. I am listening." he doesn't want her to continue being too shy with her opinions. Not after what had happened last night.

She pursed her lips, as she tried to form an answer in her head.

"Why don't we just do away with the seats, then put a large bed instead? So, that…" she paused to clear something in her throat. "…we three could sleep together."

He chuckled, and instant redness flushed in her cheeks. She could reason what he was thinking was not her primary implication, but then she would be lying.

"Yes, I do like the sound of that." he teased.

With her suggestion noted, Anthony started buying the things needed for the modification. Since he doesn't have any skill that instantly deconstructs stuff, he bought a hammer and an iron bar.

But not after he had bought a table, two chairs and a breakfast. So that Irene could eat while she watches him clumsily do his work. Anthony never did carpentry in his life, much to his father's disappointment.

Fortunately, he was not building, but removing something. And deconstruction was always the easier part. After several minutes of messy hammering, the seats had been torn down.

After cleaning the debris, the inside of the wagon became even roomier. Looking at the space left behind, Anthony estimated that they could place a bed significantly larger than the one they had in the village and still have room left.

"A bed here and David's crib." he pointed the locations to Irene. The young woman readily agreed and appeared please with the arrangement.

Anthony pulled the bed out of the inventory and placed it on the left. The two-feet wide structure was elevated six inches off the ground, with a cushion of at least four inches thick. It came along with blankets and pillows. A bed reserved for the nobility during that time period.

Irene left the table and approached the bed with David. She sat and tested the thickness, and looked at him, satisfied.

"This is even thicker than my bed in Ausburn." she said, giggling.

The next item was the baby's crib, and he placed it beside, at the topmost corner. Much to his delight, it fitted snugly against the bed and the wall, fastening it in place.

Irene grew excited. She untied her sandals and used her knees to cross the wide bed towards the crib. And after observing every detail of the simple but neat-looking structure, she lowered the baby to the mattress.

David seemed please with his new bed, and giggled at Irene. The baby's giggling even grow louder when Anthony also took a peek and started teasing him.

To further entertain the baby, he decided to buy hanging crib toys and installed it on the ceiling.

"You'll make a good father, Lord Anthony." she blurted out the words she was thinking, and realized it too late. But instead of melting away in embarrassment like she always did, she faked confidence.

"Thank you." Anthony chuckled. He had in his head a boatload of cheesy responses, but settled with the two words. It was no time to get romantic.

He made a few more modifications. He nailed a bookshelf and large drawer to the wall, in the middle of the wagon and also bolted the chairs and the tables to the floor so that they wouldn't jump around in rocky road.

"We're ready to go." he announced.

He then exited and made his way to the driver seat. The roof extended to cover the front and, on the edges, were two lanterns. Behind his head was a conveniently placed window, to enable communication with his passengers.

With his hands on the reins, everything appeared settled, and they were ready to leave. Yet, as he sat there, the question finally surfaced in his mind.

"Do you know where we should go?" he asked Irene, who was leaning against the same wall.

"To North Alendia?" she replied with what seemed an obvious answer.

"Yeah… but where on earth even are we?"
