From six digits back to four digits. The potions have shattered his finances. Unlike in the video games, he discovered that every magical item in the virtual shop was overpriced. A result of the minimal magic presence in the world.
To recover his wealth, he would at least need another two days, and even more if he was not lucky. And the work had taken a toll on him.
While hunting was made easy by the skills, it was still exhausting. The games do not present themselves and needs to be spotted and chased. And the trail and his clothing did not make things easier.
Anthony spent the night, lamenting about his losses. While he didn't regret helping the two children, he wished that the boy have been more careful and the girl's parents more attentive.
He also pondered about how to endure the villager's treatment of him for a few more days. It had become unexpectedly unbearable. He thought he would enjoy the attention and the admiration, turned out, he was not as extroverted and social as he thought.
"Wait." the word suddenly escaped his mouth, like a frog springing free from its pad. He lowered his feet from the table and sat properly, to let his thoughts properly settle.
In the middle of his pondering, an idea came across his mind. The village has several able-bodied men which he could ask to hunt together with him. Though they didn't have the system, a number of them would still be able to hunt at least one game. And an additional deer, was more than a thousand tokens.
They wouldn't be able to refuse, as he had done them an immense favor. Not to mention, he knows they were dying to curry favor from him.
With the plan in mind, Anthony closed the system, leaned back in the chair and returned his feet to the table. He closed his eyes to sleep, hoping that the rain won't visit the next morning.
He woke up early to hear the happy song of the birds. A clear blue sky met his eyes when he went outside the door for his morning yawn. The blades of grass were wet, not with raindrops but with dew.
A little later, David woke up crying and poor Irene was forcefully woken up as well. Because the village chief have stopped delivering them food for some reason, Anthony had to buy them their breakfast meal. Which he didn't mind, as they were cheap.

Irene saw the food on the table, and she instantly knew it was his work. There were no milk and cheese in the remote village, and the loaves appeared perfectly identical to each other.
It was a welcomed change. The food in the village, though done with the best efforts, sometimes suffer from the lack of ingredients and proper cooking materials.
"Where are you headed, my lord?"
Anthony made quick work of his meal and left the table before she could take her first bite.
"To hunt. I have spent too much tok- …power yesterday. And I'm planning to enlist the help of the village." he replied, his back already turned.
"I am certain, they will be exceedingly glad to assist you. Is there anything I could do to help?"
"No, no. Little David needs you more than I do." he pivoted his head to give her a smile, which she returned. He then lowered his eyes to David, who was busy stuffing his mouth with the breast milk.
After they exchanged chuckles, Anthony proceeded towards the door. But before he could leave the house, he was suddenly reminded of something.
He had been wearing the same robe since day one, and while it was comfortable at night, it was a pain to wear in the forest. Because he feared that the villagers would find it odd if he suddenly changed clothes, especially something as decent as the products of the virtual shop, he endured the discomfort.
But no more.
He recalled that there was a huntsman attire set, in the Occupation and Skills section of the shop. And so, he took a look.

Anthony wore the equipments as soon they were acquired. The boots, the greaves and the body armor were made out of leather, while the hood and the underclothes were linen.
It was practical and fitting with the movement of a huntsman. Sacrificing armor for mobility is the right move when against targets that rarely fight back and often times scamper away at contact.
It was also aesthetically beautiful.

While Anthony mused about the unexpected improvements, Irene was wide-eyed with what she just saw.
The ability to change clothing at will, she had seen yet another power of the "mage".
