Rudy woke up, gazing at his ceiling with a nervous look in his eyes. "It was all a dream… right?"
He shook his head, and tried to get on the wheelchair. But upon placing his arm on the armrest, it bent hard under his palm.
"Dafuq?" He muttered with a raised eyebrow. "I never worked out like this, have I?"
"Hell, I haven't worked out in the last 2 years." He shook his head wryly . "But either way, when did I become so strong?"
'If my arm is this strong, what about my legs!?' He wanted to test it out. He needed to. He missed the feeling of walking, he didn't care about how much people thought of it as mundane. For him, it had a value.
That brought his mind to the saying, 'You never cherish something, until you lose it.'
It was true. He had experienced it himself after all.
First of all, he wondered about trying to wiggle his feat. He thought about to for a while, feeling nervous. Finally, he decided to do it after a moment.
He felt the muscles in his feet tense up, before releasing themselves. He felt his toes grinding against each other. And out of reflex, he jumped a bit, because he had forgotten the feeling of ever doing that.
But now--
"I can move my feet…" He said in a dazed voice. "I can move my feet!"
Rudy was suddenly giddy. It was no surprise. But now, he was going to attempt the final test…
"Can I walk now?" he wasn't sure, but he would be damned if he did not try at least.
He raised his legs out, putting them onto the soft carpet on the floor. This alone, was reassuring for him.
He brought his two legs onto the carpet, sitting at the edge of the soft bed.
"It's time." He hyped himself up, and slowly moved his body upward in unison.
The wind howled in hears ears. Even through the windows.
The nervousness he felt only intensified as felt milliseconds pass in his mind.
With one final movement, he was on his feet!
"…" Rudy looked flabbergasted. His eyes swelled up a bit, and tears threatened to leave his eyes. It was just too sudden for him!
Even though he looked completely fine being cripple, he wanted to walk again. In complete truth, who wouldn't want to do that again if such a situation happened to them?
"I miss this." He sighed in relief, before familiarizing himself with his movement.
He walked to the bathroom and smiled as he made his way to the sink. It was morning after all. He was going to brush his teeth.
He gazed at himself through the mirror and was inwardly surprised at what he saw.
Before, his hair wasn't as bright and shiny. It was a beautiful golden colour, nape reaching and neat.
His hair seemed to not be the only thing that had changed. His skin and muscles, they were soft to the touch and more smooth. Free of blemishes.
He was more handsome now.
His green eyes, gazed into the mirror, and he cracked up a smile. Today really is a lucky day—he thought.
"It's not." A melodious voice echoed in his mind.
"Who's there!?" He barked, whipping his head around the room. His action caused the mind to lash, and make tearing sounds.
"You really have forgotten about me?" The voice echoed in his mind once again.
"..!" Realization dawned on Rudy and he asked back. "Where you the cause of my sudden recovery?"
"No shit sherlock!"
Rudy was getting frustrated as the conversation kept continuing. "Show yourself!"
"Okay, don't be too hasty." The voice said and silence permated for moment.
Slowly but surely, a figure of a woman became visible to his eyes.
The woman was draped in a deep blue robe, clean and stain free, she had long ash hair that reached her calves, sapphire blue eyes, a delicate face, thin eyebrows, and a sexy pair of lips. Certainly beautiful beyond words.
Even Rudy, who has had his fair share of gazing at beautiful fairies, gulped audibly for even the heavens to hear.
'So beautiful…' he muttered in his heart, not daring to say it aloud.
The ash haired woman seemed amused, as her lips curved into a smile that exuded boundless charm.
"Tsk." Aurora, the sapphire eyed beauty, clicked her tongue. "No reaction, why don't you keep talking? Cat bite your tongue?"
Rudy looked down at his feet, he didn't know what to say. It wasn't that he was embarrassed, it was just too mind blowing to look at her.
"Uh- W-what is going on?" Rudy asked, still startled.
'How adorable.' Aurora thought, before replying. "Listen up, greeny. Me and you…
