Chapter 52 - Chapter XVII : Loëalun Travia

In the magnificent hall of the Elven throne, I had donned one of my most beautiful dresses, with shades of green and brown and sleeves resembling the leaves of tall trees, to address my father, the king, and his close council.

Sunlight streamed through the windows, illuminating the room with an enchanting glow.

I walked calmly to the center of the room and presented my idea to them:

"Father, counselors, I am delighted to present an idea that is dear to my heart. I recently discovered that the Void Mall now has an alchemy workshop where the equipment is of the highest quality. I believe it would be beneficial for our people to support and promote this ancient art form and begin training people in it."

My father touched his face with his graceful hand and curiously asked me to tell them more about this alchemy workshop and explain the advantages it could bring to the kingdom.

Feeling a door opening before me, I continued with conviction: "Alchemy is a discipline that allows manipulation of elements and energies to create potions and elixirs with extraordinary properties. By following the achievements of human alchemists, we too could heal diseases, strengthen our magical defenses, and even transmute certain materials. I know our people have never practiced this field, but by supporting this workshop, we could train talented alchemists within our own kingdom and improve our quality of life. Moreover, the alchemy workshop at the Void Mall is unparalleled, as it offers the possibility to purchase all the ingredients one could imagine. However, if the concept of alchemy doesn't appeal to you, I strongly recommend sending people there to purchase the ingredients."

One of my father's counselors raised his hand and asked curiously how we could integrate this workshop into our existing structure.

I continued to explain that we could create an alchemy department within our royal academy. Talented young elves who show an interest in alchemy could receive comprehensive training there. We could also invite renowned alchemists to come and give lectures and demonstrations. This would strengthen the bonds between our kingdom and the community of human alchemists. In time, we might even surpass them.

My father's second aide, Aelmaudia, smiled and said, "Princess Loëalun, your vision is inspiring. I am convinced that alchemy would bring a new dimension to our kingdom. It could stimulate our scientific and medical research and, at the same time, enhance our reputation throughout the elven lands. I believe we should proceed."

"My dear daughter, once again, you have demonstrated your wisdom and determination. I am convinced that this alchemy workshop will bring great benefits to our people. We will follow through with your proposal and begin establishing this alchemy department within our academy so that all elves can benefit from the wonders of this discipline."

The counselors nodded in approval, while I radiated with joy. In that moment, the future of the elven kingdom opened up to new possibilities, all thanks to the Void Mall.
