Chapter 39 - Chapter XI : The Meeting.

Mike, Zephyr, Pepper, and I gathered in a small café in the city of Steelwall. We've been studying here for four months now. We've all made astronomical progress, especially me. I'm the only one who has reached level twenty, but the others are not too far behind. Zephyr is in second place with level seventeen, while Mike and Pepper are tied at level fifteen. Over the past few months, Mike and Zephyr have continued to go on missions together, and Pepper has made great progress in potion-making, while I have spent most of my free time going on missions and slaying monsters. Zero and MT have been taking care of and overseeing the Void Mall when I've been absent. They've been a great help to me, I think, for all the times I couldn't be there to welcome Loealun, Gor'Lhemakgney, and their companions.

"How are your duels going in your class?" Zephyr asks me, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Pretty good, Heol is in the finals against Nicole, and I managed to make it to the quarter-finals! I might have even made it to the semi-finals, but I had a tough opponent," Pepper responds curiously.

"I made it to the quarter-finals too, but my opponent tore me to shreds, ahaha!" Mike chuckles, thumping his chest.

A bit bewildered, Pepper and I look at each other, wondering why Mike is laughing about being torn to shreds.

"Yeah... Let's just say Mike lost in a funny way," Zephyr begins to explain, smiling.

"He dueled against a student who has the profession of Parasite. He used a skill and took control of Mike, preventing him from moving. He tried to stab Mike with his dagger, but Mike's defense was too high, nullifying his attacks. He finally found a way to make Mike punch himself until he lost consciousness, and the whole thing took about fifteen minutes..."

"Hehe, the only person capable of defeating me is myself!" Mike boasts loudly, puffing out his chest.

Stunned by this story, I can't help but laugh.

The evening continues, and we take the opportunity to relax and share the adventures of the past few months.

Loealun

As I thought back on the events of the past few months, I was still in shock.

It all started when the kingdom was in danger due to a growing rebellion, as my father, the king, had been severely injured in battle and could no longer govern effectively. Seeing his weakness as an opportunity, his opponents had gathered and rebelled.

Devastated to see my father suffering and his kingdom in peril, I set out with Minolas to search for a remedy, the Grey Flower. While searching for it, we got lost and ended up in a mysterious shop nestled in the heart of the cosmos.

Its owner, a young man or entity, welcomed us and offered us a rare and powerful elixir that was supposed to heal my father's wounds. Desperate and with no other choice, I bought the elixir and brought it back to the castle.

My father reluctantly took the elixir, but to his surprise, he instantly felt better. His strength returned, and he was able to get up from his bed. In just a few days, the king was fully recovered and the rebels were quickly neutralized.

During the first month of his recovery, my father asked me several times where I had found the elixir, but I kept it a secret. However, recently, I cracked under the burden of the secret and revealed everything to him.

He told me to always keep the key with me and to go buy potions with my siblings as often as possible. After all, each of these potions is miraculous, and the more we have, the better. It's a shame, though, that we can only buy one item per person daily…

Snapping out of my reverie, I get up from my bed and look out at the horizon. The view is breathtaking and peaceful. With peace restored and the sun rising again, it's time for me to head back to the Void Mall.

Gor'Lhemakgney

Nearly four months ago, I stumbled upon a mysterious shop with a mystical and strange ambiance, housing the presence of a cosmic deity who had taken on human form.

I don't know why, but after meeting them, I realized that everything I had always searched for in the abyss was there. The vastness of space and the entities that reside within it must be the probable reason.

Having found one of the cosmic deities I was searching for, as well as the profession of Cultist, it seemed natural for me to establish a cult in their honor.

Quickly, I managed to convert a few people and shared with them my vision of the universe that I acquired during my experience at the Void Mall.

At first, they seemed skeptical that I would possibly meet an ancient god, but over the past few months, through visiting the mysterious shop with them, they grew accustomed to the unique environment of this place and converted wholeheartedly, praying to the cosmic deity during each visit.

At first, the entity seemed uncomfortable, but after a few visits, we received their benevolence and were given a room. At the far right on the first floor, there was now a transparent door. On the other side were chairs and cushions that covered the white floor. The unobstructed room overlooks the vastness of the void, allowing us to contemplate its beauty without disrupting the operations of the shop. It's a wonderful gift. The Lord must be pleased with our devotion...
