Chereads / Reincarnation: I Have Infinite Potential / Chapter 5 - The Conclusion

Chapter 5 - The Conclusion

1 Year Later

I am currently finishing off the last book of the studying regimen i had planned out.

I now have now enough knowledge that even in the of chance i get somehow transported to a random place on Ignus, i can safely nevigate myself to safety.

Other than geography, i also studied about monsters, plants, weapons as well as the economy of this place.

Due to my unique situation, i also added to my regime about skills and i put in extra effort to learn about what i like to call productive jobs, such as blacksmithing, alchemy and enchanting.

The more in depth i went into the study of skills the more i realised how OP i am.

You see, there is only 2 ways for someone to get skills other to be given to them by their job. The first and most common method, which by the way is extremely hard to happen, is to use a skill stone. I does not take a genius to realise that these stones are rare as hell and most of the time the skill that they give are complete garbage like clean or cook. They can give some good skill like magic or weapon mastery but that is like winning the lottery twice in a row.

The second method is by using the skills of your job. Now, let me explain. There has been people whose skill could copy skills, steal skills or even extract skill from the corpses of other people. The only problem is that with the books that i found in the castle library, i could only find less than a handful of such mentions and no further info was given after that.

During my regime i also realised something extremely important.

"System"

[Character Information]

[Name: Bell Nyhtous]

[Gender: Male]

[Age: 4 Years]

[Job: Jester]

[Level: 0]

[Attribute Points:]

[Strength: 3]

[Agility: 3]

[Vitality: 4]

[Stamina: 4]

[Defence: 2]

[Intelligence: 10]

[Charm: 7]

(Max stats without system are 10)

(Stats that fail to reach the threshold will be rounded down tο the nearest integer)

[Skills: none]

[Current status: Weak, System is currently sealed.]

[Comment: Host is advised to get over his bookworm phase before he regrets it.]

All the information other than my info, stats, skills and current status is not supposed to be here at all.

It's probably another bonus from the blessing.

Now, one might think that this is not a big deal, but the comment is of extreme importance.

After a bit of thinking over the past year i think i understand why i was given such a comment.

The max of each stat is 10, i have my INT at 10, CHR at 7 and the rest 5 stats all together are in total 16 out of 50 which is pathetic.

If you think it's not as bad as i am saying then lets do some math.

All my stats combined have 33 points in total, in other words i will lose out up to 37 points before the system is even unlocked.

What this means that even with my OP job i would need at least 3 levels to catch up.

Again, you might think this is not that bad, but i would have to remind you that on average people get 4 stat points which would then take 10 whole levels to catch up.

At the beginning i thought that the system was exaggerating, after all it is just 3 levels.

But what if there was more to it that it meets the eye?

After my study, i have found out that the system is fair.

Otherwise i wouldn't have to go through a mission for each skill evolution.

That, together with the comment gave me an idea.

Reaching 10 in all of your stats by the age of 5 is borderline imposible.

The difficulty is so high that made my reincarnated self low-key despair, let alone for normal kids. Don't look at my INT being 10, that shit was 9 and took a year of hardcore studying to get to 10.

If such a jaw-dropping difficult task were to be completed, then the reward should also be jaw-dropping don't you think?

And thus i began my plan.

I don't need any training to improve my Vitality since it will increase with a good diet and working out my other stats.

My Stamina is in the same situation, it would improve by working out and pushing my limits.

Now all that is left is Strength, Agility and Defence since i think my Charm will improve my working out or at least i hope it will since i don't know any other way to raise it.

So, i decided to train my Defence first.

Before i explain why i picked Defence, let me first explain what each stat does.

Strength is the pure power one can exert. Usually is the priority stat for frontline warriors.

Agility is the speed and the dexterity of the body, the higher the Agility the higher the running speed, but at the same time the better control over your limbs. Usually is the priority stat for mobile jobs such as archer or rogue, as well as extremely useful for productive jobs.

Vitality is the energy of the blood. It dictates your resilience to illnesses as well as the speed of your regeneration when injured.

Stamina is the maximum energy one can exert.

These 2 are very important, so every kind of job requires to have a couple of points in each.

Defence is the resilience of the body to physical attack. It strengthens your skin, flesh, muscles, bones and internal organs. A very important stat for handling shields.

Intelligence is the speed at which your brain can process information and i think it also affects your memory. Usually it's the priority stat for mages.

Charm is kinda complicated, it affects your characteristics and makes them more likeable, it affects your face, body, voice and even soul. A very important stat for summoners and merchants.

Back to our main point.

I have already experienced how difficult is to get a stat to 10.

A single year is hardly enough time for such a thing to happen to 6 different stats.

As you can imagine, the training will be extremely harsh, so much so that i am worried for possible injuries.

Such an event could cost me my prize, so increasing my Vitality and Defence is my top priorities.

After i made up my mind i went to talk to Rose.

Rose for the past year has been helping me with my studies as well as doing the chores. She hasn't changed much, other than looking a little more mature i guess.

Under my orders, she started saving money. She was a little confused at this, but since it wasn't something weird combined with my costant nagging made her come to terms with my proposition.

When i finally reached her room, i barged in as i always do which in turn lead to a quite awkward situation.

"Rose, i want to talk about the mone....."

I stopped mid-sentence after realising something was out of place.

She was buck naked while lying on the bed. One of her hands was on her breast, kneading it with wanton. Her other hand was between her open legs, moving rapidly.

It took less than a second to realise the present situation, she was musturbating.

When she heard noise coming from near her door she quickly looked over only to lock eyes with me.

"....."

"....."

After a short silence i calmly turn around and left the room, not forgeting to close the door of course.

After that, i waited outside the door until the rustling of clothes stoped, after which i made my move.

I opened the door and stepped inside.

"Rose, i want to talk about the money i told you to save for the past year."

Yes, i decided to act as if it didn't happen.

"I can't explain to much, but from now on the meals must be mainly meat. I will also start to have bigger portions so please keep that in mind."

Without waiting for her to respond, i continued.

"For the next year i will put aside studing and will focus on physical fitness. The program i have in mind will be extremely cruel, to the point of self-mutilation."

You paused for a moment for her to take the information in, and then continued.

"As far as i know, you are the only person you cares about my well being, and i know that this is very sudden but i need you to trust me on this one, it's of the at most importance for me to improve as much as possible this next year."

After finishing my sentance i waited for her reply.

This is a very serious moment for his future potentinal as well as their personal relationship.

.....At least that would have been the case if both of them weren't as red as a tomato.
