Pls excuse me she is here for the interview , I said while pointing at Lia . Okay madam please come let me show the way replied the receptionist .I hope she gets the job and be serious with her life ,I murmured a silent prayer .
Lia's POV
I followed the receptionist who said her name was Lhana to the office where the interview was going on ,I was shocked to see the numerous people wanting to get this job infact I was starting to feel down knowing that I might not get this job because of my current qualification .I waited for an hour until it was.s finally my turn, inside the office were two men and four women which made me wonder if the CEO was a woman or womanizer . Mr Preshit as he introduced himself asked me a question I wasn't expecting , he said why do you want this job , I was shocked because this is my first time in an interview and Mia didn't tell me what to say if they asked this question . Rita the first woman upon seeing my nervousness told me to calm down and that this should not be new to me after all I have worked in 10 places before . I was even more surprised and then I realized that Mia intentionally did this to embarrass me . I told them the first thing that came to mind which was that I want to experience life and depend on myself more . They all stood up and applauded me like as if they just found their lost champion . Rita said you are qualified and therefore without any further delay you are hired and are to start work now. I was happy but also sad , how can I just start now ,but I smiled and said thank you . On my way out of the office I was hit a man and when I looked up to shout at him I saw the most beautiful man I had ever seen in my life . I was speechless until I heard his cold voice "Bryan did I not tell you to get rid of all obstacles on my way" . Before the Bryan could reply I shouted at him saying what do you mean by obstacle ,are you blind that you can't see me .
Everywhere turned silent and then a woman from his back replied "yes he is blind so now please get out of the way let my husband pass" . The cold voice wanted to talk but just kept quiet and walked passed me . I felt bad for what I said and wondered why such a beautiful person would be blind . I just walked out and went to meet Mia in the car . I told her I got the job and was told to start working but I begged to start tomorrow and they agreed . She was happy for me and I could not bring myself to tell her how I called a blind man "blind ". I told myself it was not important anyway and we drove off.
