Astra Milistratum/Imperial Guard: Adverage humans, men & women of the Imperium, joining forces to become the largest and primary military force of mankind.
Sub-factions of the Imperial Guard
1.The Death Korp of Krieg-The name given to all of the Astra Militarum regiments that originate from the devastated, post-atomic Death World of Krieg in the Segmentum Tempestus. They are most commonly deployed in the war zones of the Segmentum Tempestus and Segmentum Solar and are particularly skilled at attritional trench warfare, sieges of and assaults upon heavily fortified static positions and warfare in extreme environments known for their biological, chemical and radioactive hazards.
2.Tempestus Scions-Tempestus Scion are a special Inquisitorial Force, or as they are known in Low Gothic, Storm Troopers, are the elite special forces units of the Astra Militarum and the Inquisition, but officially belong to a subdivision of the Adeptus Administratum known as the Militarum Tempestus. Trained from their youth by the Schola Progenium in the arts of war, Storm Troopers are, perhaps, the finest soldiers ever to serve in the Imperial Guard.
3.The Armageddon Steel Legion-Battleharden forces of the world Armageddon, it is the Militarum Regimentum of the Astra Militarum that fights as mechanised infantry alongside Chimera armoured personnel carriers in defence of the strategically-located Imperial Hive World of Armageddon and its surrounding allied star systems of the Armageddon Sector.
4.The Cadian Shock Troops-Or as their also sometimes called Cadian Shock Troopers, are the highly disciplined Militarum Regimentum soldiers conscripted in large numbers from the Fortress World of Cadia for the Astra Militarum, which once stood sentinel as the preeminent bastion of the Imperium of Man in the fight against the Emperor's ancient Archenemy, Chaos. They are deployed in every segmentum of the Imperium and are particularly skilled at defending fortified positions against extreme assaults and in warfare against the forces of Chaos. From the famous Shock Troops of its infantry regiments to the dedicated crews of its armoured war engines and the gunners who man its artillery and heavy weapons, the discipline and highly-professional warriors of the Cadian Regimentum are lauded throughout the Imperium as born soldiers.
5.The Catachan Jungle Fighters-Are the members of the Militarum Regimentum of the Astra Militarum that has been recruited from the Death World of Catachan. They have the well-deserved reputation of being the deadliest practitioners of jungle warfare in the galaxy. They are primarily deployed in the Segmentum Solar and the Segmentum Ultima and are highly skilled at combat in especially hazardous terrain and in carrying out guerilla and asymmetric warfare.
The Officio Assassinorum: Officio Assassinorum is a highly secretive agency within the Imperium of Man's Adeptus Administratum that employs different "temples" that train Human Assassins to further the goals and protect the security of the Imperium. Although the Inquisition strikes fear in the hearts of all Imperial citizens, loyal and corrupt alike, the deadly disciples of the Officio Assassinorum strike fear in the hearts of even the most savvy, battle-hardened of Imperial warriors. Assassins are typically deployed alone wherever feasible, having been trained to operate extensively behind enemy lines with no support. Given the sheer potential political power of this adepta and the fact that its operatives are known to have been used against rival High Lords of Terra in the past, the authorisation to assassinate a target must come from the very highest echelons of Imperial command. For this reason, Assassins are watched very closely to make sure that they are always under the control of the Imperium and serving the will of the Emperor. Almost nothing is known in Imperial databases about the locations of the Officio Assassinorum's has several different headquarters or "temples" on Terra.
Assassinorum Temples-1.The Callidus Temple: It is the subtlest of the ancient temples of the Officio Assassinorum, specialising in the artful deception of the enemies of the Imperium, an exclusively female temple, with the Callidus Assassins, possessing the ability to shape-shift, allowing infiltrate and replace targets with perfection.
2.The Culexus Temple: It is one of the most sinister and feared orders of the Officio Assassinorum and its Assassins have been described by the Aeldari as nothing short of pure evil. Its operatives are skull-helmed harbingers of death, nigh-invisible terrors whose merest touch can extinguish the victim's soul. Even amongst the upper echelons of the Officio Assassinorum, this temple is always viewed with extreme caution. This is not because of the way that the Culexus operate, nor because of any particularly hideous methods they use to kill their targets. It is because of the Assassins themselves, for they are bearers of the Pariah Gene that has been drastically enhanced, making them the perfect anti-psyker assassin operatives.
3.The Vindicare Temple: These assassins are cold, calculating killers that eliminate their targets with contemptuous ease. They aim to bring inglorious death to the enemies of the Emperor with a sniper's bullet, and have elevated the skills of the marksman to an art form. It is said that a Vindicare can pick out a target's jugular vein or pupil from extreme range, even should the distance be traced through the ruins and smokestacks of an underhive sprawl. To complement their superhuman accuracy, the Vindicare Temple emphasises stealth and evasion techniques. One of the temple's maxims is that a clean kill can only be made from an excellent firing position, and Vindicare Assassins have been known to occupy a given location for solar weeks, waiting for their quarry to reveal himself before finally taking the perfect shot. By meditating on the immortal glory of the Emperor, these superb marksmen can slow down their metabolism to an almost hibernatory state.
4.The Eversor Temple: It is possibly the most gruesome weapon of the Officio Assassinorum. The temple specialises in shock and terror tactics, instilling fear of Imperial retribution in the hearts and minds of all who hold positions of power. Eversor Assassins are primarily used against rebels who have plans to move against the Imperium with a large armed force. When the long, grinding war of attrition that is the Astra Militarum's forte is ruled out perhaps because it is likely to leave a valuable planet ravaged, the High Lords will sometimes sanction the use of an Eversor Assassin. An Eversor distills the brute force of an entire strike team into a single Human body, and hence rarely has just a single target. Their mission will be to rip the heart out of the rebel operation, wreaking havoc and destruction. Such brutality ensures that the Renegade leaders are destroyed in one fell swoop, and that no would-be successors may take over. In order to better enact these one-man killing sprees, the Eversor Temple trains its operatives to be utterly ruthless and completely dedicated to the Imperium. The temple engineers its inductees to be superhuman killing machines, their bodies driven far beyond normal Human capabilities.
5.Vanus Temple: Almost nothing of the Vanus Temple is known beyond its name and the fact of its existence (though the High Gothic word "vanus" means "empty"). The Vanus Assassins are primarily used as intelligence-gatherers and in matters of grand strategy and intelligence tactics they are without peer, their political insight unparalleled by the scholars of the Imperium. The Vanus Temple works to engineer their mark's doom via their consummate command of information. The Vanus Temple wages a far more complex war, taking the art of the stealth kill to the next level. Their modus operandi is to learn everything possible about not only their target but also those closest to them, then to tacitly manipulate circumstances so that their mark's death is brought about by their own folly or preferably by the hand of a once-trusted friend or comrade. It is the Vanus Temple that the Imperium employs when the revelation of a prominent figure's heresy would cause more damage than the knowledge of the resultant retribution.
6.The Venenum Temple: It trains exclusively in the use of exotic poisons and subtlety in carrying out their mission requirements. The Venenum Temple's stock-in-trade is employing operatives who are the galaxy's finest tox-artisans. Their mastery of poisons is unparalleled outside the Dark City of Commorragh, and the temple's operatives sow within their targets time-delayed toxins that afford them ample time to escape suspicion. Through their temple's apprenticeship they manufacture killing philtres from the most base of components, which allow them to terminate their targets and leave no metabolic trace of the toxin.
6.Temple Umbral: It is the latest temple that has replaced Adamus and Maerorus Temple. Created after the Horus Heresy and the Great Division of Reality, when the rise of magic, swept across the Imperium and the number of Shadowbenders were growing, they were "recruited", and thus intense bio-engineering, conditioning, training was done to them to make them deadly assassins. Masters of illusions and misdirection, using shadow magic at it's fullest to eliminate all their targets, and because of their skill and deadlines they were also given to serve the highest ranking members of the Imperium. Thus acting as literal shadows for Primarchs, High Lords, and more.
The Inquisition: The Inquisition, formally called the Holy Orders of the Emperor's Inquisition, is a secret organisation that exists outside of the standard administrative hierarchy of the Imperium of Man. The Inquisition acts as the secret police force and primary intelligence service of the Imperium, hunting down any and all of the myriad threats to the stability of the God-Emperor's realm, from the corruption caused by the forces of Chaos, Heretics, mutants and rebels, to assaults from vicious alien species like the Tyranids, Orks or Drukhari.
The Ordos of the Inquisition-1.The Ordo Malleus-Ordos Malleus (The Threat Beyond), hunts and destroys daemonic threats and investigates the nature of the Daemon, and daemonic corruption to safe guard the Imperium.
2.The Ordo Hereticus-Ordos Hereticus (The Threat Within), investigates and roots out heresy, mutation, rebellion, and rogue psykers from humanity, and polices the Ecclesiarchy.
3.The Ordo Xenos-Ordos Xenos (The Threat Without), they investigates and eliminates alien influence and plots against the Imperium, mainly focusing on threats of Tyranids, Gene Stealers, and Eldars.
4.The Ordo Arcanum-Ordo Arcanum (The Threat Mystical), the newest Ordos made by the Emperor himself, with the rise of magic user or "Spellcastors" on the Imperium and other xeno-races on the Galaxy, the Inquisition inlist the strongest spellcastors to investigate and hunt down magical based threat, cause of this they are known to work alongside the other Ordos, and recruit Executors from the various Astartes Legions.
The Sisters of Silence: They are an all-female order of Imperial Witch Hunters and soulless psychic Nulls tasked with hunting down renegade psykers and other psychic threats across the Galaxy. Bound by Silence and Sisterhood, they primary serve alongside the Adeptus Custodes and some Space Marine Chapters against psyker threats.
[The Sisters of Battle will appear only weaken since Laharl's plans will prevent the creation of the Ecclesiarchy, by stopping the Emperor's materdum, he'll still be bound to the Golden Throne only crippled and alive, the greatest punishment for him. As for the Sisters of Battle when Laharl and the Chaos Gods, shattered reality to bring more worlds, space marine legions, and alternative Primarchs, the Sisters of Battle were brought as well, in a world were the Emperor isn't a "God"]
The Adepta Sororitas/Sisters of Battle: Or colloquially called the "Sisterhood," whose military arm is also known as the Sisters of Battle and formerly as the Daughters of the Emperor, are an all-female division of the Imperium of Man's state church known as the Ecclesiarchy or, more formally, as the Adeptus Ministorum. The Sisterhood's Orders Militant serve as the Ecclesiarchy's armed forces, mercilessly rooting out spiritual corruption and heresy within Humanity and every organisation of the Adeptus Terra. There is naturally some overlap between the duties of the Sisterhood and the Imperial Inquisition; for this reason, although the Inquisition and the Sisterhood remain entirely separate organisations, the Orders Militant of the Adepta Sororitas also act as the Chamber Militant of the Inquisition's Ordo Hereticus. Burning down the heretic, mutant, and traitor in righteous fire.
The Sisterhood Orders-1.The Order of the Ebon Chalice-This Order was founded by Ecclesiarch Alexis XXII when he split the Sisters of the Convent Prioris on Terra, where the Order remains based. Their first leader and most honoured Saint is Alicia Dominica. Their colours are black armour, white cloaks with red linings with their weapons are a deep red. These were the original colours of the Convent Prioris.
2.The Order of the Valorous Heart-This Order is based on Ophelia VII within the Convent Sanctorum, founded when the convent was split by Ecclesiarch Alexis XXII. Their original leader was Lucia, one of the Sisters who accompanied Alicia Dominica to the Golden Throne during the Age of Apostasy. Their colours are black armour, black cloaks with a white lining and white gloves. These Sisters forever honor the gruesome tortorous death of Lucia, and were eventually able to hunt down those responsible for it. What became of them is not known, but it is said that Hospitallers from the Order of the Silent Vow which specialize in pain enhancement and life extension are still busy under their sanctuary of Lucia's Reprisal.
3.The Order of Our Martyred Lady-The order was originally called the Order of the Fiery Heart and was founded by order of the Ecclesiarch Alexis XXII when the Convent Sanctorum was split. Their first leader and Patron Saint was Canoness Katherine, who led her order for many decades before being murdered by the Witch-cult of Mnestteus. So moved by her death were her Sisters that they changed the orders name to the Order of Our Martyred Lady in her honour. The Order wore the black of mourning for their lost lady for many centuries afterward[6], a style consisting of black armor and black cloaks with red lining, with red used for weaponry and white used for unit insignia and piping around the cloaks. After the Order's losses on Armageddon, the majority of the Preceptories changed the cloth color to all red, with the first line of the Fede Imperialis stitched between parallel lines of silver along the bottom edge to remind them of the martyring of their Sisters on Armageddon. The Order has determination beyond even their fellow Sisters of the other orders, forever driven to avenge the death of Katherine and their Sisters who fall in battle. To their enemies, they are not known for mercy, but instead for thorough and utter destructiveness. Since the death of their Matriarch, the Order of Our Martyred Lady has developed a cult of martyrdom that is unparalleled amongst the Sisterhood. All Sisters are taught that to die serving the Emperor is the purest fate his servants can hope for, but amongst the Sisters of Our Martyred Lady this ideal is expressed so fervently that it can appear to the uninitiated as though they are suicidal.
4.The Order of the Argent Shroud-The Order like others was founded by Ecclesiarch Alexis XXII when the Convent Prioris was split, with their first leader and honoured Saint being Sister Silvana. They are based on Terra within the Convent Prioris. Their armour is silver along with white cloaks lined in red. Silvana was martyred shortly after they were split from the Order of the Ebon Chalice and before their own identity had been fully forged. The fledgling Order took their name and symbol from the silvery impression of her skull upon her death shroud. Like their patron saint, the Order is altruistic and strong of faith. The Sisters of the Order, like Silvana, rarely speak, preferring to let their actions speak for them, and often these actions speak of selfless heroism. They avoid formulating grand strategems and rarely communicate intended tactics to their allies, irritating many Imperial generals. They seek to emulate the mysterious silence of Silvana by speaking very little and by entering long periods of complete silence whenever they engage in training. However, this silence does not preclude them from prayer or worship and, like the members of other Orders, they still chant hymns of purgation as they march into battle. On the field of battle, the Argent Shroud is known for its lightning-fast assaults and maneuvering capabilities. They commit themselves utterly to the offensive, often leaving themselves cut off from support. They alleviate this weakness by crying out for Silvana to protect them, which seems to give them a miraculous degree of luck. Enemy fire will often veer off course and blades will fail to hit their intended mark.
5.The Order of the Bloody Rose-The Order is based on Ophelia VII within the Convent Sanctorum and was founded along with the Order of the Sacred Rose by Ecclesiarch Deacis VI, in honour of Sister Mina mid-M38. Their colours are blood red power armour and black cloaks with white linings. Their weapons are the same black as their cloaks. The Order is well known as executioners and for their conviction to bring a swift end to their enemies similar to their patron saint. Consequently, Dominion Squads of the Bloody Rose are of particular renown, where their mission and the Order's convictions coalesce to make for ferocious assaults by these squads. From the moment a Sisters joins the Order, she is taught to foster and harness her most violent impulses. Litanies of heretical deeds are burned into the minds of recruits, filling them with hatred. Prayers that would be whispered in silence by other Orders are bellowed loudly by the Bloody Rose. In place of meditation, they learn to enrage themselves even when they are not faced with provocation. (Basically Khornate Sisters of Battle, and should I make them fall to Valkia?)
6.The Order of the Sacred Rose-This Order is based on Terra within the Convent Prioris and was founded in honour of Sister Arabella along with the Order of the Bloody Rose by Ecclesiarch Deacis VI, in mid-M38. Their colours are white armour, black cloaks with red linings and red weapons. The order strives to emulate their patron saint and her virtues of discipline, even-temperament, and resolute determination. This resolve to stay calm in battle has particularly benefited Retributor Squads, who use her as a role model to avoid doubt and rash action while wielding their heavy weapons. The Order avows that they are not only devout servants of the Emperor but also conduits of his will. They believe that their words and actions are guided by his divine wisdom and teach that victory comes from faith and faith alone. They wage Wars of Faith to regions long thought lost in the darkness, freeing Imperial planets from the yoke of Xenos or heretics. They establish citadels in the most remote corners of the Imperium. This has resulted in forging a sizable parish in Ultima Segmentum, but like Arabella they bring their faith to bear across the Galaxy. On the battlefield the Sacred Rose advance in perfect tactical harmony and discipline, adapting fluidly to the shifting tides of battle. They press their attacks wherever their enemies show weakness, and where they show strength the Sisters stand firm.
The Cult Mechanicum/Adeptus Mechanicus/Cult of the Machine: Are based on Mars which provides the Imperium with its scientists, engineers and technicians. The tech-adepts of the Mechanicus are the primary keepers of what is viewed as sacred wisdom, a privileged caste of Tech-priests who jealously guard the knowledge required to maintain and construct much of the Imperium's advanced technology. Refusing the creation of new technology or the use of xeno-technology for it is "heretekical" they maintain the technology of the Imperium in the name of the Omnissiah.
Imperial Knight Order: The Imperial Knights, or Questor Imperialis in High Gothic, are piloted robotic combat walkers of small to medium size in the service of the Imperium and sometimes the Adeptus Mechanicus. Each Knight is piloted by a single Human warrior drawn from an ancient feudal aristocratic culture that stretches across the galaxy, connected to a Noble House and Lineage best connected to the Great Machine Spirits, and the Ancestral Souls of the pilot's bloodline.
However, a Knight is smaller and less capable in combat than even the smallest class of true Titan utilised by the Collegia Titanica, the Warhound-class Scout Titan. Knights normally deploy in squadrons comprised of several of these war machines.
These ancient battlesuits stand thirty to forty Terran feet (9 to 12 metres) tall, are protected by nearly impenetrable Ion Shields and armed with a devastating array of heavy weapons.
Imperial Knights are colossal war machines that tower over the battlefield. They are propelled into battle by powerful servos and have the power to kick over tanks and crush soldiers into red paste.
Type of Knights-1.Questoris Pattern: The most commonly seen pattern of Imperial Knight. Unless otherwise noted, all Questoris pattern Knights wield some combination of the same core set of weapons: rapid-fire battle cannons with heavy stubbers, avenger gatling cannons with heavy flamers ect...
2.Knight Crusader: Built to spearhead assaults and blow holes in the enemy lines, the Crusader is equipped with twin gun arms.
3.Knight Errant: Highly suited to attacking larger targets like Mega Gargants. They carry fearsome Thermal Cannons capable of easily vaporizing steel or flesh and a melee arm.
4.Knight Gallant: Melee type Knight equipped with both melee arms at once: a Reaper Chainsword and a Thunderstrike Gauntlet.
5.Knight Magaera: Designed as shock assault units, Knights Magaera have a melee arm consisting of a reaper chainsword or hekaton siege claw and a gun arm mounting a lightning cannon. The chest weapon is invariably a phased-plasma fusil.
6.Knight Paladin: The archetypal Knight, armed with a large-calibre rapid-fire battle cannon and heavy stubber and a melee arm.
Rogue Traders: Originally called Rogue Traders Militant during the era of the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy, and bearing the ancient title of Lord Captain first granted by the Emperor Himself, are unique and powerful Human individuals who serve as a combination freelance explorer, conquistador and interstellar merchant for the Imperium of Man. Every Rogue Trader is a hereditary Imperial servant and high-ranking noble, given a starship, a crew, and sometimes a contingent of Space Marines (in very rare cases) or troops of the Astra Militarum or mercenaries and carte blanche to roam those worlds of the galaxy that still lie beyond Imperial control or knowledge. In their task of exploring and exploiting the still-uncharted regions of the galaxy for Mankind, Rogue Traders might come across worlds harbouring long-forgotten Human civilisations which will be later incorporated into the Imperium by official Adeptus Mechanicus Explorator fleets and expeditions of the Navis Imperialis and Astra Militarum.
Adeptus Custodes: The Custodes, known as the Legio Custodes during the era of the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy, and colloquially as the "Ten Thousand," is the Imperial adepta responsible for protecting the Imperial Palace and the physical body of the Emperor of Mankind, as well as serving as His most important emissaries, His companions, and the keepers of His many secrets. The Custodes is an elite cadre of genetically-engineered transhuman male and female warriors who are even more potent in combat than the Adeptus Astartes.
(Author Note: I don't mind that GW made female Custodes even if they already had something akin to that with the Sisters of Silence, but regardless my question should I add female-custodes or keep them entire male?)
Adeptus Astartes/Space Marines: Genetically enhanced super-soldiers commonly referred as the "Angels of Death" original formed in a legion, with total of 20 Legions made from the Gene-seed of the Emperor's Sons the Primarchs. These legions were before Horus Herasy and the Great Division of Reality, the Dark Angels of Lion El'Jonson, the Doom Harbingers of Vladd Van Pandemie, the Emperor's Children of Fulgrim, the Iron Warrior of Perturabo, the White Scars of Jaghatai Khan, the Space Wolves of Leman Russ, the Imperial Fists of Rogal Dorn, the Night Lords of Konrad Curze, the Blood Angels of Sanguineus, Iron Hands of Ferrus Manus, the Orochi Legion of Asura O'naga, the World Eaters of Angron, the Ultramarines of Roboute Guilliman, the Death Guard of Mortarion, the Thousand Sons of Magnus the Red, the Sons of Horus of Horus Lupercal, the Word Bearers of Lorgar, the Salamanders of Vulkan, the Raven Guard of Corvus Corax, and the Alpha Legion of Alpharius & Omegan.
Loyalist Main Chapters
1.Dark Angels-The Dark Angels, the sons of the Lion, they have the honour of being the first Space Marine Legion created by The Emperor of Mankind. Their origins are however shrouded in mystery and secrecy, though it is said their Gene-Seed was in production a century before the end of the Unification Wars. Dark Angels officers are expert tacticians and specialists and have been quick to capitalize on the skills, which combines the firepower of Hellblasters and Devastators with Centurions to devastating effect, but their main specialization is in close combat and dueling, following the teaching of their Primarch adopting much of the knight code and customs for their own.
Chapters of the Dark Angels-1.The Deathwing: This Host company's armour is a bone white colour, rather than the dark green of the majority of the Chapter, or the black of the original Legion. They are famed for its line breaking and marksmen abilities, and those of its Inner Circle who survived an infamous swore oaths that no member of the wing would ever leave the field of battle in the hands of the enemy, accepting death over dishonor or retreat.
2.The Ravenwing: The high-speed flying force of the Angels, it is the Second Company of the Dark Angels Space Marines Chapter. Like the First Company, the Deathwing, the Ravenwing are not part of the Codex Astartes structure - although the remaining companies of the chapter adhere to the Codex. Although a versatile and tactically flexible fast-attack force, the true role of the Ravenwing is to hunt members of The Fallen. This secret is only known to high-ranking Black Knights and members of the Inner Circle. The current Master of the Ravenwing is Sammael, who rides to battle on the last known surviving Imperial Jetbike.
3.The Dreadwings: The most feared branch/chapter of the Hexagrammaton, the Dreadwing was called in when the total annihilation of the enemy was necessary. Its members were masters of massacres, purges, and the deployment of Exterminatus-class weaponry.
2.White Scars-One of the original twenty Space Marine Legions of the First Founding. Their Primarch is Jaghatai Khan. During the Horus Heresy the White Scars remained loyal to the Emperor, after which they reorganized and split into Chapters. Drawing on the tribal savagery of their homeworld, the White Scars practice a highly mobile method of warfare, tearing into their enemies with lightning-quick attacks and vanishing before a response can be made. Despite being characterized as barbarians, the White Scars are a highly cultured Chapter, with poetry among their most respected and ancient traditions.
Chapters of the White Scars-1.Solar Hawks: Sharing their forefather's battle lust and aggressive style of lightning warfare, the Solar Hawks are notable for being aggressive and noble. The Astartes of this Chapter embody all that is best in the sons of Jaghatai Khan and honour their progenitor by either painting a shoulder guard or gauntlet white, the chosen colour of their ancestral Chapter. As their name suggests, they field an especially large number of airborne assets, regularly deploying whole wings of Stormtalons, Stormravens and other gunships into battle.
2.Storm Reapers:There are none more battle-hungry than the Storm Reapers, the first Terminator Chapter founded from Jaghatai Khan's gene-seed. In them runs the purest of blood distilled from the legendary primarch. The Khan is be proud of his newest, ferocious sons for they are wise and noble, but on the attack they fight with a passion he would recognise as his own.
They have claimed the Feral World of Jagun for their home planet, the natives of which are known for their savagery. The Storm Reapers have been commended for their spearheading of the Absolutis Crusade. (I know the Storm Reapers are a Primaris Chapter, but they thought it be fun making a terminator chapter, and have them connected to 40k before the rise of Primaris.)
3.Destroyers: Sharing their genefather's battle lust and aggressive style of lightning warfare, the Destroyers have a troubled history. Though they have won many great victories in the Imperium's name, questions remain regarding the stability of their gene-seed. These concerns have grown despite the self-sacrificing heroics the Chapter displayed in the wake of the Daemon rampage throughout the Lhorgus Sub-sector. For their part, the Destroyers are concerned only with the next mission.
3.Space Wolves-The most savage and brutal loyalist Legion of the Imperium. Their primarch is Leman Russ, and during the Great Crusade they gained a reputation as the Emperor's executioners and instruments of punishment. Originating from the frigid surface of Fenris, they bound with the great Wolves of Fenris, and are true warriors and raiders against the enemies of mankind.
Chapters of the Space Wolves-1.Wolf Brothers: The Wolf Brothers beyond the facts that upon their Founding they were issued with exactly half of the Space Wolves fleet, arms/equipment and priests available at that time, and were intended to be the first off-shoot Chapter created from the Space Wolves as part of a grand plan to create a force termed the Sons of Russ, who would be posted in a galactic circle around the Eye of Terror in an attempt to prevent the Traitor Legions from ever invading the Imperium. However, the swift degradation of their genetic viability quickly made it clear that the gene-seed of the Space Wolves was almost impossible to use to create another Chapter, and the Sons of Russ plan died alongside the Wolf Brothers, until Leman Russ tamed the Wulfen and place a Wolf Priest as a Chapter Master, saving his more beastial sons becoming the most savage and animalistic force in the Space Wolves.
3.Icefangs: Their origins began amongst the Space Wolves Greyshields, who fought in all throughout their forming with the Wolffather who honored them making them a Chapter. Though they served beside many differing genetic lineages, the Space Wolves Greyshields quickly gravitated towards each other and formed hunting packs. They instinctively trusted their fellow Space Wolves as brothers and those Greyshields who shared a similar disposition found further common ground. These groupings of similar Greyshields, would later form the nucleus of new Space Wolves Successor Chapters. The esoteric Icefangs were among them, as their nucleus was formed psychically inclined Space Wolves Greyshields.
(Another Primaris Chapter I changed to a second successor chapter.)
4.Imperial Fists-The Imperial Fists, the Sons of Dorn the masters of fortification and construction, which has and maintained an intense rivalry with the Iron Warriors since and prior to the Horus Heresy, with whom they share a specialisation in siege warfare. The Imperial Fists are recognised to be among the most loyal Chapters to the Emperor and have been instrumental in holding the Imperium together during the bleakest of times with renowned stubborn resilience. Because of their service to the Imperium, especially their role in leading the defense of Terra during the Horus Heresy, the Imperial Fists are also known as the "Defenders of Terra".
Chapters of the Imperial Fists-1.Black Templars: During Horus's attack on the Imperial Palace, the Imperial Fists' primarch, Rogal Dorn chose his First Captain, Sigismund, as the Emperor's Champion; he was given the best armour and weapon and swore a holy duty to challenge the Champions of Chaos, and triumphed over all he met in battle. Sigismund then was given the honor to form one of the Chapters of the Fists, the Black Templars, the eternal crusaders which purge the galaxy of xenos, heretics, traitors, and mutants in the name of the Emperor and Dorn.
2.Crimson Fists: Composed of the more younger and more levelheaded marines of the Legion, as they formed the Crimson Fists, under Alexis Polux a hero of the Heresy. The chapter's name derives from the ceremony conducted at the initiation of new chapter masters in the Imperial Fist legion. The Chapter Master and the Primarch would both cut their palm and share blood in a warrior handshake; strengthening the marine with the blood of the Primarch and forming a symbolic bond between them. The Crimson Fists formed the deep bound of brotherhood with Barabas Dantioch, and his Iron Giants, known to commonly fight alongside one another in the wars that come.
3.Executioners: Founded and led by Fafnir Rann, said to have been one of the most vicious of Rogal Dorn's Captains. According to the Chapter's own chronicles, they were founded for the express purpose of seeking out and slaughtering the foes of Mankind.
5.Iron Hands-The Iron Hands, Sons of Ferrus Manus are notable for their heavy use of bionics and their reverence for all things mechanical, and thus their close ties to the Adeptus Mechanicus. Focusing on quelling their emotions and believing that flesh is weakness, the death of their Primarch enhanced these thoughts and the Iron Hands began the strenuous act of replacing all their flesh with bionic and machinery, but then came the resurrection of their Primarch, Ferrus Manus a deed done by Chaos he was ashamed and revealed his desire to free them of becoming machines, and that he will rid himself of his Iron Arms at the end. This was a shock to the Legion, that now seek atonement from their Primarch and give their all in their battles embracing emotion and their flesh more in the name of the Gorgon.
Chapters of the Iron Hands-1.Iron Lords: Known for their exceptionally stern demeanour and xenophobia. Making them the most skilled in fighting against xenos, and having the strongest defense of their father Legion.
2.Red Talons: Formed from the most aggressive and volatile warriors of their parent Legion. They are known for their bold style of warfare and never-ending vendetta against the Traitor Legions.
3.Sons of Medusa: The Sons of Medusa, although born out of strife and discontent, share much in common with their parent Chapter in terms of organisation and philosophy. They too abhor mortal weakness and place an unusual reliance on technology and equipment. The Sons of Medusa are unusually structured - being split into three separate and effectively autonomous War Clans (Lachesis, Mageara and Atropos), their overall organisation is reasonably close to that laid forth in the Codex Astartes. This is achieved due to the makeup of the individual War Clans: One Battle Company, one Tactical Company, one Support Company.
(I changed the Lore and Fate of the Iron Hands, cause Tzeentch and Laharl would love the twist of fate, carnage, and strife that this will cause the Legion, and to weaken one of their enemies.)
6.Ultramarines-One of the founding 20 Legions of Space Marines, a Legion that is able to fight in any style and are quite adaptivable. Under their Primarch is Roboute Guilliman, leadership they have formed and maintained the second largest empire of humanity, by far the largest Legion in the Loyalist. When Guilliman tried to install, the Codex Astartes, his father the Emperor refused seeing it a massive crippling action against the Imperium. Instead few Chapters were made to work alongside or separated from the main Legion, with the Ultramarines having the largest numbers Guilliman created many Successors and commands the most skilled as his armies.
Chapters of the Ultramarines-1.Knights Cerulean: The Knights Cerulean were among the Terminator Space Marine Chapter created during the attack on Ultrimar by Mortorion and Vladd, at the direct order of Roboute Guilliman and were enhanced after the conclusion of the Plague War and the rise of the Second Crusade.
2.Aurorans: The Aurorans, they possessed five times as many armoured vehicles as a standard Chapter, using the color green to mark their Chapter and marking its veteran members with the so-called "Auroran Ribbon", a sign which later became the Aurora Chapter's symbol.
3.Doom Legion: The Doom Legion was responsible for maintenance and garrison of the Faithful's Deliverance, the pre-Heresy star fortress that overlooks the notorious Elusian Maze asteroid fields. Few other Space Marine Chapters could boast space-borne firepower of this magnitude. The Chapter's homeworld is the artificial planet of Elusia Prime. Refusing to forsake such a powerful and skill force Guilliman, commanded them to remain and prevent them from entering the Eye of Terror, saving them from damnation and now fight alongside their Primarch.
7.Salamanders-The Legion fathered by the Primarch, Vulkan a perpetual hence their Primarch is never recorded as perishing, standing by them in the volcanos of Nocturne; they are physically the largest marines amongst the Loyalist, and skilled forgers and smiths traits passed on by their Primarch. Other aspects of the legion of Vulkan are their great hardiness as warriors and their equally strong constitutions, willpower and devotion to humanity, along with charcoal black skin and blazing red eyes. In some ways, they can be considered the ideal of what it means to be a Space Marine. Masters of using Pyro weaponry and melters as well as, now with Vulkan at the forefront since escaping Curze's torture, they became one of the strongest forces of the Imperium.
Chapters of the Salamanders-1.Black Dragons: For their uniquely peculiar gene-seed mutation; their Ossmodula zygote has mutated, producing bony crests on their heads and blades from the forearm and elbow, called Dragon Claws. Seeing their potential and strength Vulkan saved his sons that held this mutation from the Inquisition and formed the Black Dragon Chapter. In this unit, they sharpen their protrusions to a killing edge and coat them with adamantium to turn them into horrifying Close Combat Weapons. These forearm blades can be retracted into the Claw's arm and then extended at will. The most extreme mutations also cause rampant growth in the rest of the Marine's skeleton; some Dragon Claws stand more than three metres tall and must wear custom power armour to fit their gargantuan frames.
2.Storm Giants: The Storm Giants display high physical strength even for the standards of Space Marines, and there is some debate that their Gene-seed may have mutated to enhance their Biscopea.
3.Covenant of Fire:The Covenant of Fire were created outside the knowledge of Vulkan and his Sons, so the Primarch then sent one of their Chaplains to teach their new Chapter of the Promethean Cult. The Covenant of Fire eagerly embraced it, and swiftly applying the wisdom of their gene-sire Vulkan. As a Chapter, the Covenant of Fire crave knowledge of the Imperium they fight for and seek out lore wherever they can find it. In doing so, the Chapter hopes that this information can help them bring light to darkness. Conversely, they purge any sign of heretical material they find, knowing that its knowledge is a false light that leads only to ruin.

Sons of the Raven Lord, Corvus Corex, installing great skill in stealth and duty to them, wearing a special power armor called "Corvus" Pattern, Mark VI Power Armor which served them greatly especially for their use of flight and aerial attacks.

Lord Corvus named Lias Issodon "The Grim" the Chapter Master of the Raptor, seeing him as the embodiment of the Raptors, and trusting his son to lead and insure the Raptors survival and success.
Since the Emperor won't die in this fiction, there won't be as many sub-factions on the Space Marine Legions (so I'm sorry that your favorite chapter wasn't included), under order of the Emperor himself...cause quite honestly while GW explained this was a selling stunt for Space Marine models, in lore it was stupid Guilliman's Codex it basically allowed for more traitors to rise and weaken the Space Marine force greatly, it just they have Protagonist Halos that saved them in soo many wars, let be honest.
The Grey Knights: The Grey Knights are a secret and mysterious Chapter of Space Marines specifically tasked with combating the dangerous Daemonic entities of the Warp and all those mortals who wield the corrupt power of the Chaos Gods. They were created by the Emperor with the aid of Malcador the Sigillite at the time of the Horus Heresy to serve as Humanity's greatest weapon against the threat posed by the existence of Chaos. They have the honour of being implanted with gene-seed engineered directly from the genome of the Emperor Himself. The Grey Knights act as the military arm or "Chamber Militant" of the Ordo Malleus, the Daemonhunters who form the oldest branch of the virtually omnipotent Inquisition. The Grey Knights' fortress-monastery, the Citadel of Titan, is based on Titan, the largest of the moons of the gas giant Saturn in the Sol System. It is kept as a private preserve of the Inquisition. Their existence of the highly secretive Chapter is virtually unknown outside of the Inquisition and the highest echelons of the Imperial adepta, and is a well-guarded secret enforced by mind-wipes and even assassination of Imperial citizens if necessary.
Note: The Grey Knights were brought into this universe by the Great Division.
