Chapter 231 - Bloodfire Falls War Part 2: The Raging Butcher

(General POV)

Location the Chaos Wastes/The Bloodfire Falls Battlefield-Dark Legion vs. the Heralds of the Tempest

At the eastern side of the battlefield, Khorne/Ixion was ravishing the mortal/human warriors of Kholek Suneater.

Khorne using Ixion wad butchering everyone in his way, his avatar's Hellbane burning and catorizing every victim amongst the marauders of Kholek Suneater, while his axe, the Bloodreaver has immediately activated the abilities that the Blood God, has bestowed it in the Forge of the Eight...

As the Bloodeeaver was being soaked in the blood of the mortal tribesmen, in the heat of battle, all those affect by the Bloodreaver's power shall be drawn to face him, this made these mortal easy pickings for not only the Blood God but also mortifinis as their blades, guillotines, and harberts slash, chop, cleave, and pierce through Kholek's followers.

The Chaos Knights were cutting or crushing their victims with their longswords, battle-axes, and hammers, and lastly the Blood Warriors armed with either a pairs of goreaxes or a combo of a goreaxe and a gorefist, some of them even wield a goreglaive or a jawbone axe into battle.

The Blood Warriors were like bloodthirsty berserkers, as they tore apart the Chaos Marauders, Khorne was being empowered greatly inside of Ixion.

Doubling his strength and ferocity to such intense levels that all Ixion's attack not only broke through shields and armors but also the flesh of his victims with little resistance...as Khorne/Ixion was enjoying the massacre, his brothers watched with amusement and being highly entertained by Khorne's rampage.

While on the west side of the battlefield, the nurglish forces were also slowly devastating the marauders, as they never encountered plague daemons of this strength the plaguebearers utterly ignoring all damage dealt to these lesser daemons of the Crow, being original born from the Immaterium, not the Realm of Chaos of the Old World their much stronger and durable.

The plaguebearers' plagueswords were being bathed in blood, as they cut down the enemies of their Grandfather within the avatar.

The Infectors maggots were collecting host and spreading their infection and numbers in such extreme pace, with their wound causing them to spawn and multiply more maggot daemons now numbering in nearly 150 (147) infectors in total now.

Now possessing bloated, maggot-ridden Knights granting the infectors with heavy armored hosts with deadlier weapons than the marauders or warhounds infected, as the Plagued Marauders were fighting alongside the nurglish daemons.

During the month that these plagued marauders have become apart of the Dark Legion, Warp Nurgle, has blessed his new children with new plagues some of the marauders were also honored with their own plaguesword for them to kill the enemies of the Maggothking.

The laharlish infernals that were acting as the Nurgle forces heavy infantry, with two of the daemonic constructs crushing the warriors of Kholek, to mush and gore.

When they split one fighting melee with the plague forces, while the plagued axe-throwers and the other infernal unleashed a barrage of axes and violet flaming rocks at the Chaos Marauders.

While the two main forces of the Dark Legion, fought and slaughter the forces of the Herald of the Tempest.

The Speaker, watch none to pleased, still Kholek and his kin have entered the battle and since the beginning it was clear who held the advantage in this war.

Both the khornate and nurglish forces were overwhelming the Heralds of the Tempest, but seems were probably turning around as another force of Kholek came at last from the southwest, trying to surround Ixion's force as Zxaie-xie kept on watching the battle from above...

A Undivided Chaos Lord was leading a force towards the enemy lord, Ixion Daemonhart.

When a rain of ice needle like arrows along with several high-speed spining saw disks flew towards the Chaos Lord's forces.

The shi'lanorai crystal wraiths and sawdisks mortifinis separate from their main force to provide back up and support to Ixion/Khorne thrawting the simple tactic of the enemy.

Seeing the enemy behind him the Blood God commanded his avatar, Ixion to horizontally cleave the skull of a helm greataxe marauder, before turning his attention to the enemy behind his force.

Rushing to fight and kill the Chaos Lord, the forces of his brother Laharl, has them pinned down and ripe for the butcher.

While the shi'lanorai ice warriors joined the magic casters (Shardspeaker & Cryowitches) as they were originally going to aid the forces of the Decaying God, when a surge of magical energy made Arrel-zhan stop their force as she was placed as the commander of the magical force of the Dark Legion.

Arrel-zhan sensed the corruptive powers of Change, overflowing the area as a tzeentchian sorceror appeared before her and the cryowitches as the corrupted, heavy ice-armored light brown skinned elves stood in front of them to protect their magic casters, this act surprised the slaaneshi sorceress...wondering why elves of any subspecies would protect, let alone fight with a servent of the Dark Princess.

But that was not important, as the cryowitches immediately launch a barrage of [Shards of Winter] a psyker spell, that conjures sharp shard of hail at their targets, this being immediately Kuurath'gaad and some of the Metal Lore aligned Shaman-Sorcerers cast on themselves [Glittering Robe] strengthening their defense greatly, allowing them to survive the ice attack from the light brown skinned elves. (frost eldars)

While Kuurath'gaad was completely unharmed by the spell shot at them, as he laughed in a echoed voice for his two faces (front and back of the head, with the back having avian traits) saying, "Weak minions of the "Pretender God" Laharl. I'll tear your souls apart, and offer them to the Lord of Mutations!!!"

As Kuurath'gaad and the shamans were about to unleash their magical wrath upon the hedonite and the Chaos-touched elves/shi'lanorai when...

A few moments before Kuurath'gaad appeared...

Ixion/Khorne struked at the Chaos Lord with his heavy khornate axe (Bloodreaver) with the axe breaking through the great-shield of the heavy armored Chaos Lord.

Completely cleaving through said shield and drive the Bloodreaver straight, and deeply into the chest and face of his victim.

Just as he was about to gorge himself in more bloodshed and battle, Khorne heard his brothers call out to him...

The Blood God heard as they said to him, "KHORNE!!! Our magic casters are in danger, and the metal aligned sorcerors are there...GO!! Take their souls for us!!!!"

Grumbling Khorne/Ixion turned to the Chaos Khights and Blood Warriors killing the remnants of this force, he order them to join the rest of the forces as he'll handle the cowards of Chaos Sorcerers.

Obeying their lord, joining the rest of the blood forces as they slaughtered the Heralds of the Tempest, meanwhile Khorne made Ixion run towards the clashing magical forces seeing his brother's shi'lanorai and the slaaneshi sorceress preparing to engage the tzeentchian sorceror (Kuurath'gaad) squad of other magic sorcerors.

He saw as the Cryowitches lauched their psyker sorcery at the Raven God's slave and his shamans, increasing his running speed, tightening the grip on Ixion's weapons as he hasn't enough blood and he hopes that these weak sorcerors might sastify some of his bloodthirst.

As he rushed towards his prey he activated the khornate ability [Blood Rage] coating Ixion in a crimson, scarlet, and orange aura drastically increasing his physical abilities, at the cost of [Frenzy] affecting all those around the avatar...

PRESENT TIME...

Just when Kuurath'gaad and his minions were about to unleash their magical wrath when they sensed a powerful, wrath filled source quickly approaching them.

Before they can react a fire aligned cultist was beheaded by the Chaos Lord, Ixion Daemonhart, as they tried to gain distance from the butcher that killed four more cultists, and a shaman-sorceror, all but Kuurath'gaad were beginning to fall under the affects of both the axe of Ixion and the [Blood Rage] ability.

That's when one of the tzeentchian cultists of the Metal Lore, tried to kill Ixion with a [Searing Doom] a spell that causes a spray of sizzling silver slivers rain from the sky, when the khornate Daemonhart, reached the cultist, grabbing and lifting him by the throat.

Whist in Ixion/Khorne's grasp, both Laharl and Nurgle started to rip the soul of the mortal, along with his magical power and knowledge over the Lore of Metal.

As this happened all the tzeentchian cultists, tribal shamans and Kuurath'gaad watched in amazement and horror as the soul of one of their own was being rip from his mortal shell, causing the multi-eyed bald cultist to wither and become pale as a corpse, as his struggling screams were silenced, and Khorne scoffed as he made Ixion toss the soulless husk away, falling into a nearby lava pool.

Despite his disdain for magic, he'll admit having a stronger magic resistance in general, along with the knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of Metal Sorcerers/Mages seems the Blood God has to indeed collect more...

Turning toward the cowarding and growing inflicted by rage, magic casters.

Ixion said under Khorne's desires, "Your skulls and souls are...MINE!!!!" tightening his grip again on Ixion's weapons he charged the stunned sorcerors as they prepare to attack at the charging lord...no, as they mention before butcher that's heading towards them.

Kuurath'gaad yelling at his minions to attack, regaining some semblance of rationality they all unleashed a barrage of spells at Ixion.

Letting [Fireball, Kindleflame, The Burning Head, & Final Transmutation] and even casting [Plague of Rust] soar and cast upon Ixion.

But Warp Khorne's natural magical/psyker resistance which have been enhanced by his newly acquired fire and metal resistances all the spells bounce off the avatar, barely burning him or the avatar, while the metal spell also were unless especially the Plague of Rust Spell...which Nurgle wants, cause he can use said spell for his experiments, and future brews...being an avatar empowered and operated not only by three Warp Gods but Laharl's own [Void] making withering/debuffing spell useless against them.

Location the Realm of Chaos-The Blood Lands, The Brass Citadel/The Skull Throne of Khorne

All the while the Four Chaos Gods, were watching from their own personal realm/throne, the most interested and attentively observing the outcome of this battle were OW-Khorne and Tzeentch.

OW-Khorne was utterly pleased with this soul inside Ixion Daemonhart, a true warrior and master of the battlefield even with him allowing weak sorcerors under his command...especially one belonging to his most hated rival Slaanesh, this member of the Daemonharts was a true slaughterer!!

More than earned his favor and mark...should he win and survive the anticipated match between him and Kholek Suneater...

Location the Realm of the Sorcerer/The Crystal Labyrinth, the Impossible Fortress

Meanwhile in the Impossible Fortress of Tzeentch, the Raven God was quite happy and excited with Ixion Daemonhart.

Not only has more secrets and magical powers are being added to Tzeentch's plate as he desires all of them for his own...the Sorceror God was surprised at the power and resistance shown by the brute, the Blood God's servent, if a magical inept is able to not only willstand against magic, but also be able to rip souls and magic from others it meant regardless which of the Daemonharts he manipulates and corrupts into his service, he'll gain a great boon surpassing the usefulness of Vilitch, Aekold Helbrass, Galrauch, and also Engrimm van Horstmann.

Also Tzeentch was most excited and eager to see his champion inside of Ixion Daemonhart, already there has been this Dark One, Laharl Valboga, OW-Khorne and OW-Nurgle as all the eyes of the Everchanging Master were focused on the aspiring Champion of Chaos, as he slaughter more sorcerors with the aid of those dark skinned elves, which possess a unique variant of the Lore of Ice of the kislevites.

As the khornate Daemonhart, drained another soul of one of his cultists, as his sorceror Kuurath'gaad was about to face his destiny, to pave the path of quite possibly greatest Champion of the Gods, since Asavar Kul.

That's when at last the tide of this battle changed again as Kholek and his kin finally made their way down to the battlefield, making Tzeentch smile, from all his mouths and faces as this battle is becoming much more interesting as time passes.
