Chapter 199 - The Dark Creations Part 4: Future Plans of the Gods

(Laharl/Carnage God POV)

Location the Nethervoid-The Top of a Lone Mountain

Laharl was waiting for Khorne's shipment he laid on his mountain things were going very smoothly for the forces of Chaos, Khorne started adding to his elder daemons and more worlds under his thrall, and while minuscule he did made some progress with Nurgle as well.

Laharl knows that his brother, Nurgle would probably summon Festus, Epidemius, and Ku'gath immediately and like Khorne before with Karanak upon that daemon being spawn early than lore dictates, they'll rouse to power much faster, and the Dark One knowing Nurgle he'll be easier to convince to make elder daemons than Khorne.

Sighing, I continued to think on the next artifact he was about to create and add to his arsenal, his sword, Ragnarok dealt with more tough target plus served also as a range weapon.

His clawed-power gauntlet, the Claw of Hades he mainly used it in close range and for fasts swipes, and his latest God Artifact, and Stand basically Iron Maiden 666 focused on defense and dealing with more mystical aligned threats.

Laharl, was thinking about what kind of new weapon to add to his arsenal, he yet to face any danger, but then he thought about the threat still to come...Tzeentch, the Imperium, the Star Gods, the Alderi Aspects, Slaanesh, the Dark Eldar and eventually the Tyranids, and the Leagues of Votann.

Not to mention when Laharl starts traveling world he'll also face untold godly enemies, and if those worlds can't handle his physical manifestations, he'll need a mortal vassal to roam and corrupt those worlds.

The Dark One thought it would be best to have an artifact that not only will restrain his target, but he can use from very long range...like a chain...

That was when Laharl realized that a chain would be the perfect addition to his arsenal, especially when he adds blood brass ore to the mix, he smiled wickedly as he started designing this daemonic chain to suit all his needs.

Location the Plague Garden-The Blighted Mansion/The Restoration Pools

After returning to his body, from Neutral Space, Nurgle was once again soaking in the gangrenius pool to regenerate himself, still being accompanied by his toads and nurglings swimming all around the colossal pool.

Already he felt less pain, than before and his gamble to answer his brothers call has paid off a lot, not gaining three powerful servents, but unbelievable he...bounded...a bit with his brothers, and what they said to him of being the last remaining Chaos God was true, while he enjoy the company of his dear children, there be no one new to accept his love and care.

There will be no new life, the cycle of renewal needed life to bree and thrive, so it can host and spawn new life through sorrow, rot, and death so despite him wishing a stagnant world full of never ending plague, he'll need to spread and mutate to create new life, and gain new loving followers...so for now he'll refrain from killing his brothers...but he'll not stop trying to convert them to the glory and beauty of decay!!!

This made the Rot Lord, laugh joyously as he could image himself next to his brothers...his family overcome with disease, kneeling before him as the master and God of Chaos itself.

Nurgle really rejoiced and laughed at thus though, eventually causing him to have a coughing fit from the excessive laughing.

After, calming his coughing, Nurgle call fort three sickly green colored orbs, the essences of Festus, Epidemius and Ku'gath Plaguefather.

Nurgle smiled as he focused his daemonic divinity through the three orbs to bring fort his new children.

First to manifest was a giant bloated Great Unclean One, by far the strongest of the three diseased ridden beings.

His unique trait are his antlers as his right horn was wider and more spread than his left even causing a smaller horn to sprout out of the Greater Daemon's forehead, and some bone spikes sprouting from his shoulders, this is Ku'gath Plaguefather, who is sitting on the edge of the pool confused, last he remembers he and his Poxmakers, were laying waste on the infuriating dwarves of Karaz-a-Karak, when he felt something pull him away, and now he is back in the Plague Garden, once he looked at his dark father, he realized the wounds of his Dark God, he was shocked to see his dark father in such state!

[TW-Warhammer 3 appearance, and also I choose this version of Ku'gath over the 40k one cause, fantasy Ku'gath enjoys being a greater daemon while in 40k he is depressed and I already have my L'litha I don't need two daemons with the same background.]

Next to Ku'gath, was another daemon resembling a plaguebearer, only much more bloated, and a lighter but still sickly green shade of skin color.

A long, curved, think forehead horn, and unlike many plaguebearers he had more teeth than other lesser daemons of plague, all said teeth being sharp, and needle like, this is the chosen tallyman of Nurgle, and his greatest herald Epidemius.

Like Ku'gath he was confused, last he remember was leading an daemonic invasion to Brettonnia, alongside a great, and mighty champion of the Grandfather, that has taken the vacant mantle of Dark Champion from the mighty Kul, his name Thorgar the Blooded One.

After achieving what Kul could not, in the name of the Rot Lord they began spreading plague and decay across the world, and the Grandfather send him to not only join Thorgar, but also record and tally all the infections and decay that Throgar will wrought, then he appeared...back in the Garden, that's when Epidemius realized he was in front of Papa Nurgle, but his beloved Grandfather was injured beyond belief, shocking the Tallyman!!!

[Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, Alternative Universe were Thorgar continues his rampage and chooses Nurgle as his patron God.]

And lastly the third figure, and the only mortal amongst these followers of decay...for now...

It was a man of sick green and yellow skin tone, with a fat, bloated body that is slightly covered in boils, his extremities his hands and feet were a sickly tones of purple and pink showing the clear gangrenius and infected body parts.

He was bald with a extremely large flobby chin that reach the upper part of his chest, he has green eyes and no nose as it fallen off from illness, missing some of his teeth.

On the his right side a long, large tentacle was sprouting and wrapped around a withered wood staff that has several heads, and vials hanging from the coil head of the staff, he wears an old violet-burgundy apron that covers most of his front, while strap to his back is a litteral apothecary, made from wood covering a huge cauldron were he mixes his virulent creations.

The former human doctor, turned Plague Champion was a powerful blessed by Nurgle responsible for several pathogens and countless deaths in the Old World.

Speaking of that he was a admist of invading the elven lands, of the high elves under the command of Nurgle when at the eve of battle he was summoned back to the Garden.

He looked around and saw two of his daemonic superiors Epidemius and Ku'gath, before he could ask why he was summoned, to the Garden?

He noticed the panic faces of Lord Ku'gath and Epidemius, looking at where their attention was focused, he saw his beloved God armless, with half of a face soaking in a pool of filth and vile, like his daemonic superiors he was shocked and worried about the state that Plague God was.

The three followers of disease, immediately jump into the pool and swam to Nurgle's side.

Seeing this brought joy and pride within the Lord of Decay, as his loyal servents with rush to his aid, despite the situation, this made the Decaying God smile, as he watched Ku'gath, Epidemius, and Festus swam to his side.

Once the trio, reached the Plague God's stomach they were hyper and nearly inconsolable, checking on the state of their wounded God and demanding confirmation of his condition, this touched Nurgle's litteral rotted heart as he calmed their worries and told them what happened and where they are now.

At that time in a different daemonic realm...

Location the Nethervoid-The Top of a Lone Mountain

Laharl was laying next to a violet boulder, having spended some time designing this new God Artifact, to add to his arsenal.

He has was almost ready to create this chain, all he needed was to wait a bit more for the shipment from hid brother Khorne, the Dark One decided to waste some time by flying and wondering around his realm, it was either that or watch a battle within the Materium, since none of his forces are involved in those wars he wasn't interested, just as he sprouted his six wings, he heard Aillia call out to him.

Aillia informed him, that L'litha and her Ambrossian Shroud have returned to the Warp, their currently in L'litha's daemonworld, Wagxin Luna, this was great news as the Dark One told Aillia to register and start spawning his new daemon beasts, the Death Stingers she responded with a cheery, (Right away! My Lord.) as the Dark One was just about to leave, Aillia continued to speak, (By the way my Lord. Warboss Doomklaw, just raided the jungle that L'litha was based at. He just missed her and her warband, as going ballistic searching for her under the Twin Gods name.)

Seems that Laharl was right to move his succubus herald out of Auhtt when he did, he also contemplated riding Doomklaw's Waagh, but decided against it for it will serve to have a powerful warboss for Gork and Mork to be distracted with, especially when the Great Crusade happen more threats and enemies there are for the main enemy of Chaos, the Emperor the easier it will be to corrupt a forgotten legion.

Plus he has a pair of Absolute Corruption Tickets, he'll save one to corrupt and save one of his favorite Primarchs, adding him and his legion to his direct service, his name is Konrad Curze, the Night Haunter, Primarch of the 8th Legion of the Night Lords.

The Dark One was smiling at the thought of owning said legion which fits perfectly for Carnage.

Then another idea came to the Dark Harbinger, when he creates the object that travels worlds and dimensions outside of Warhammer, he could go to alternative 40k universes to assimilate alternative fallen legions, including the Dornian Heresy were the Salamanders fall to Chaos.

He'll gain control over them, when dimensional jumping is avaliable to him, he'll gift the alternative Chaos Legions to his siblings...thou he still doesn't understand why in the Dornian Heresy, Sanguinius fall to Nurgle, him and the Blood Angels should be Khorne no matter what anyone says...and he is fan ranting again...sighing Laharl thanked Aillia, and sprouted his wings, with a strong gust he took flight up to his maroon colored sky.

(Khorne/Blood God POV)

Location the Blood Lands-the Brass Citadel/The Skull Thrones of Khorne

Again we are sitting on our thrones, me and Valkia are enjoying what remaining Ambrossia we have, I told her about my meeting with the Dark One which resulted in the invitation of our brother, Nurgle which obviously shocked my lovely blood queen, but I reassured her that nothing went wrong in a surprise twist it went better than I could imagined.

I told her that we bounded by talking about her and Laharl's wives the loves in our eternal existence, when I said this Valkia blushed looking away as she drank her mug, this reaction from my wife pleased me as thing went on, I've already sent a small group of eight bloodcrushers, to deliver my brother his winnings from our bet and in return our shipment of Ambrossia, shall soon come.

Currently I have dominion over several eldar worlds, nearly equal to my brother, Laharl but I've lost a considerate amount of my legion in the war, I'll regrettably most now focus on replenishing those lost numbers, and obtain more worlds to fuel my power.

I can at least count on Skarbrand and Zsash to keep attacking, conquering and corrupting worlds with Skarbrand focusing on the weak, cowards the eldars and Zsash the imbecile orkz, with that much war and bloodshed I'll be able to restore my forces quicker.

Grumbling in annoyance, I took a big swing of my mug, drinking what remained of my ambrossia.

Realizing I ran out of the ambrossia, made me annoyed and I tossed the mug at the brass stairs below me, causing to shatter I growled in build up anger, turning my sight towards the right I saw, Valkia looked at me with concern, forcing myself calm I told her everything was alright.

As I continued to think on what to do next, aside from my wife, and Scyla Anfingrimm, Nurgle has obtained three powerful servents to his side, and while Laharl has made a temporary truce with our brother, he is still a threat until he is full on our side of corrupting and expanding the grasp of Chaos.

Not to mention our Primordial, patron Absolute Chaos is still watching...I've never felt so helpless and weak except for that moment.

I need more power, I need to contact Laharl and Nurgle again so I can gain their permission to use the fountain and gate, to summon more powerful warriors to boaster my ranks, that's when I turned to my wife and ask her about renowned, bloody warriors and champion dedicated to me from her old world, she was curious onto why I needed that information?

I answered truthfully, and gained her complete support as she began to regale me of several khornate warriors and daemons that will worthy additions to my legion, she mentioned Knut the Bloody who achieved daemonhood after physical breaking a bloodthirster's back, I thought it was quite impressive as she continues.

Next she told me of Abrax the Bloody Wanderer, a vicious, and bloody Chaos Lord from a place called Nosca, even slaying a khornate daemon called Goreprince and taking his blade, the Y'khggan.

Another worthy warrior to serve me, I kept on listening as Valkia mentioned more names such as Arbaal the Undefeated master of a giant flesh hound simply known as the Hound of Khorne, Barakus the Godslayer a daemon prince of renown deeds, and Grydal, the Scourge of the South a former mortal champion that not only achieved daemonhood but exalted rank as well.

The final name my beautiful wife gave was of the one named Skarr Bloodwrath a champion that my weaker counterpart greatly favor and revives many times, and with each resurrection he losses more of himself becoming a greater berserker of death.

I was most please, that I even laughed out loud my booming voice was heard across my hellish realm of battle and bloodshed.

With only one or two of these mighty warriors I'll gain great power and possibly future elder daemon candidates after I place undying loyalty and devotion into them, like Skarbrand and Zsash before them.

Lastly I'll add more Chaos Giants to my realm, soon enough Nurgle will start adding to his army as well now that he is on the defensive with us, as I planned I may have also finally found the perfect way to settle the issue with my avatar in Laharl's possession...and I can also include, our brother Nurgle to the mix as well insuring a grand victory for me, the Blood God!!!!

My laugh got louder, as all my rage and frustration has been replaced with excitement, eagerness, and joy.
