Chapter 139 - The Coming of the War Within the Mountains

(General POV)

Location Nord Sector, Eldar World-Ymir/the Frozen Wastes

During a harsh blizzard, multiple humanoid figures with another figure riding on a large creature leading the large force.

As the obstruction of the blizzard clearing revealing the shi'lanorai rustling through the snow, not being one bit affected by the howling blizzard, these are the Bloodstained Snow Beasts, led by Crystallyl Shik'Adammine.

Since a month has passed since Crystallyl slew, the Chaos mutated Ymirian Bear, and her warriors have proven true warriors and actual beasts also during that time, Crystallyl was introducing her loyal to a true God, the Frostfather was fake, the Alderi Gods weak, but the Void Lord, Alka'lkarnak/Laharl was real and saw their true worth and strength.

That month, they quickly entered the corruption and service of Carnage and Alka'lkarnak/Laharl throughout their track back to mountains were the weak, and subservient were restraining the true beasts and warriors amongst their people.

The Bloodstained Snow Beasts and their princess were on the way to destroy those that have made the frost eldar weak, and obedient to their interiors the alderi, Crystallyl riding her dear Frongfang was eager for more bloodshed and to restore the shi'lanorai to their truest state...predators.

She had a face of expressionless cold, her turquoise eyes focused on the snow-covered horizon with her warriors closely following her all their eyes, gaining hints of violet in their silver-eyes, this shows their devotion to their true Dark God as they feel the same as their princess.

Some of their wounded were healed and blessed by their new god, some have new massive claws replacing their missing limb, horns sprouting from their heads, and many were proudly baring the Mark of Carnage either on their armor/clothing or on their bare flesh.

While they rustled through the snow, as she petted her beloved saberhorn, her bladed horn increased in size and started mutated with violet veins as his fangs and claws were also affected by the carnage corruption like the rest of the Bloodstained Snow Beasts.

Location Ymir, Far South Region/Carnage Forces Secret Base

The forces of Carnage led by the recently blessed by their Chaos God, as plateau completely corrupted and twisted by the ruinous powers of the Dark One, surrounded by altars dedicated to each of Dark Gods of the Nethervoid, which has countless of gobos in heavy furred clothing and armor, along with flesh horrors husks, defects, bio-crafters, as well as with gorrs joining their fellow flesh horrors.

C'hartari (Carnage Corrupted Alderi) who have triple in number in the last month, as well with number of skulls, skeletal remains, bloodstained violet stones and twisted, macabre rituals and torture being done now by the dark armored c'hartari to their former bretheren, standing upon the active Chaosgate, was Jar Zera'val waiting for the daemonic reinforcements that her dark master told her were on their way.

For the last month, she has led her c'hartari, gobos, and flesh horrors to spread the corruption beyond the plateau, along with attacking small strongholds and stations too far away from Azir'Ymir to get any aid while the forces of Chaos, have been slaughtering and corrupting everything they could under the command of their vile, benevolent God.

As the first Champion of Carnage, Jar Zera'val with pale white skin like the future drukhari, only with her beautiful skin restored by her Dark God, her skin has hints of purple and mauve, with blackish purple veins spreading from her face making it appear she has dark eyeshadow.

Painting her lips with actual blood making look vibrant red, her hair has turned maroon and violet tied in a high large ponytail held by some sharp-pointed crossbones, but her most noticeable and menacing feature on her entire head is the burgundy colored large, long serpentine pattern horn on the right top side of her head.

On her right arm, she has been restored and replaced in a mixed violet and burgundy carapace like claw with spikes spread on her right arm, with triple curved spikes on her new shoulder, stronger than wraithbone armor as she leaves it exposed, proud of the gift bestowed upon her from Alka'lkarnak/Laharl just like her horn hence her refusing a helmet.

In her right clawed-hand was the former sorcerer's chaosbrand scepter held tightly as this arm flowed with the powers of Chaos and Carnage never has Jar Zera'val felt this kind of power before, not even when the damn weakling Kala forced her to serve the weak Alderi Gods.

Jar Zera'val was proudly wearing her new violet and black robes underneath her chaotic, corrupted, wraithbone armor.

Her burgundy breastplate with golden eight pointed ring at the edge of said plate resembling the eight-point star of Chaos, a multi-strapped black leather corset covering her belly with a violet and maroon waistband that is connected to a long open violet skirt that reached her shins.

Her left arm is covered in a black, spiked, corrupted wraithbone with some sleek spots on her shoulder, elbow, and back of her hand as her claw-tip gauntlet with similar styled heeled full-legged armor.

Jar Zera'val has her Carnage Blade strapped on her back as she watched the Chaosgate start surging in greater amounts of power as the center of the gate also started to ignite in swirling violet, grey, and black energy as a massive stoned claw grasp onto the the left edge of the Chaosgate.

This was followed by the rest of the bodies of daemonic constructs known as Infernals started to cross over, six in total all stomping forward onto the plateau slightly spreading away from one another standing in front of Jar Zera'val.

Jar Zera'val was having a pleasing smile as she looked at the stone behemoths with purple energy surging through their bodies and a blaze surrounding the heads of these eight infernals.

The Carnage Champion saw them and raised her arms, spreading her arms wide as she was praising and thanking her God, turning around commanding her newest forces to follow her, walking forward to hear the stomping feet of the Infernals following her behind as she was about to prepare for the upcoming war between Lady Crystallyl and the rest of the Shi'lanorai for that princess was about to not only claim the throne through force but offer her entire race to Alka'lkarnak.

Jar Zera'val found it somewhat amusing that not more than a month she and her forces fought against the frost eldar, but she nearly killed her in battle now under divine command of her God she is about to led the Carnage forces to aid the upcoming queen of not only the shi'lanorai but of the Warp, she also thought that if she continues gaining favor and power she might not only gain the greatest reward of daemonhood, but she might join her Dark God side as more than a servant, but as a queen making Jar Zera'val smile at the thought soon another brutal battle will begin in Ymir and she is eager for it.

(Kala/Eldar Farseer POV)

Location the Eldar Settlement of Azir'Ymir

It has been a month since Azir'Ymir was attacked by that vile traitorous witch Jar Zera, and during that tike that vile woman has been causing untold amount of carnage, misery, and atrocities across Ymir...to our people!!!

I still feel the power and rage of Lord Khaine, surging through my mind and body it was getting harder and harder to contain and control as that witch still draws breath!!!

I forced myself to a calmer state when a fellow farseer sent to serve under me by the royals and nobles of the empire came calling out to me, saying that terrible news I allowed him an audience and hear what he has to report.

And like my fellow farseer told me, this is terrible news as the warpstorms were subsiding in the northern regions of the Empire, allowing one still living...for now...member of the Urlthawai Farseers that went to investigate and stop the "Great Rage" with prince Alaeden have failed...not just failed but were attacked and slaughter by the creatures that were attacking the northern region, and the prince was killed during this horrific battle.

The farseer reported that our fellow farseer has told all their seers and other psykers have received her psychic message that the Blood God, Kjorn/Khorne, is real and is slaughtering their people as the rage of Khaine was resurfacing the only thoughts beside rage was worry as I realized that meant that witch was actually under the service of an actual Evil God, this Alka'lkarnak is real and aiming at their world.

Nodding my head towards the farseer as he left my sanctum, as Khaine's rage overflowed and caused me to unleash my psychic power unconsciously, destroying the building I was in.

As my warriors rushed to my side, I saw seers, guardians, and banshees checked on me, I eased their worries I went to the resting place of my crimson glowing spear, with the warpstorms finally gone I can start going on the offensive in my search for Jar Zera, but something is telling of a greater danger that sense is coming from the mountain region...the shi'lanorai territory.

This must be a sign from the Gods, turning towards my warriors I ordered them to organize our forces for we're marching to the Shi'lanorai Mountains...maybe at last I can fulfill my oath to Khaine and kill Jar Zera once and for all, I'll will protect my world for the Empire and the Gods as I left the rubble and made my way through the settlement as the civilians bowed and gave their praises for me, all I can think about is vengeance and justice for war is upon us and we the alderi shall win!
