That shouldn't be possible! He had had the land checked with a detector in the past, and although the soil indeed looked like it could contain minerals, it turned out to be barren.
This is what they call a "false mine," or deceiving land, which has led many mining tycoons to unwittingly purchase such land, ultimately leading to their bankruptcy and liquidation.
But how did they find diamonds this time?

the assistant said softly, "And John has already held a press conference on site. The excavated soil indeed contains diamonds, albeit small and scarce, but it's believed that with further digging, they'll definitely unearth what they're looking for."
