After what sounded like a busy signal beeped nine times, the sound abruptly cut off, as though the line had been disconnected. However, Duanmu Huai didn't seem to care and began to speak.
"I've caught a Miguel, and raided their research station, come and get it if you want it. The location is...…"
After precisely stating the location, a moment of silence followed from the other end.
"Please stand by."
After uttering the sentence, the call was hung up.
About half an hour later, accompanied by a rumbling sound, Duanmu Huai saw several helicopters flying overhead, hovering around the ranch. Soon, dozens of fully-armed soldiers slid down ropes from the helicopters and quickly arrived in front of Duanmu Huai. He nonchalantly kicked a Miguel, that was incapacitated and appearing like a dead fish without its central nervous system, towards them.
"This is the one."
As for the other one, whose head Duamnu Huai had twisted off, it had naturally melted away.
