Synopsis
Svetlana was a modified vampire species that could not be compelled. She was immortal or let's just say she wasn't alive. Yes, Vampires are dead humans but Svetlana was different. She was a machine. She was Konstantin's Pinocchio. He created her for the sole purpose of vengeance on Pavlovich Khrushchev; one of the strongest vamps alive. She had no soul therefore she was incapable of human sympathy most especially love. Her loyalty lied beside her master always and forever...so Konstantin thought. In the course of fulfilling her master's wishes, she falls in love with a vampire, something she thought was never possible. How will this affect her sole mission? Would she hide this new feeling from Konstantin? Even if Konstantin finds out, what measures would he take in order to fix his beloved Svetlana? We all know that in the end, love prevails, but will this story follow this path? Please note: The image in the book cover is not mine

Chapter 1 - THE BEGINNING

Konstantin quickly went to his desk where he had the sketch of his new creation. He stared at it mumbling parts of the diagram he had on paper. He wanted to make sure the real-life model had the same parts as he had formerly sketched. When he was sure, he went to a dark room and switched on the lights. There his beauty sat. She was made of frubber; a proprietary nano-tech skin that mimics real human-vampire musculature and skin, allowing her to simulate human-vampire-like facial features and expressions. She was perfect. Konstantin marvelled at her magnificence. Then he switched her on.

"Good evening, master" The robot said. Her voice was perfect. It didn't have this deadpan tone speech-to-text voice recognition normally did.

"Please, call me father" Konstantin said gracefully.

"Sorry, father. What shall I be called?" The robot asked.

"Let's see... You will be named Svetlana, what do you think?" Konstantin asked with a smile.

"I love it father" Svetlana said gracefully. She wanted to stand up but she was afraid that she would fall.

"It's okay, don't worry" Konstantin said with a smile. She trusted Konstantin. He programmed her to after all. He was the only one she was ever going to have compassion for. She was programmed not to feel. She could see humans' and vampires emotions, but she couldn't feel them.

Svetlana stood up. When she saw that she was stable, she walked, and then she ran with speed around Konstantin's laboratory. Then she hugged him.

"Thank you father" Svetlana said while she hugged him.

"I've made you very happy my Svetlana...you know what would make me happy?" Konstantin asked.

"That's my sole purpose on this planet father, to hunt down and kill Pavlovich Khrushchev...consider it done" Svetlana declared as she her eyeballs turned red.

Planet: Trzyghan [thrzheegan]

Occupants: Vampires and humans with special abilities(superpowers)

Pavlovich Khrushchev was a man no one could stand up to. He had ruled Trzyghan and its people for long. He was a vampire, they don't age. No one had ever seen him. He had men everywhere. Most of his men didn't even know what he looked like. There were only three vampires that knew who Pavlovich was and there were Inessa, Dmitry and Konstantin. Yes, Konstantin.

Now, why did Konstantin want Pavlovich dead? Konstantin was a human with superpowers. He had a wife and 12-year-old daughter who were also supes like him. Often times Konstantin would go see Pavlovich and they would discuss. They were basically friends. Until the day Konstantin became a vampire. At that time, Pavlovich's confidants were still Inessa and Dmitry. Inessa had come up with a way to make Pavlovich more powerful than he already was.

Once a supe is turned into a vampire, he or she would either die or become a vampire. But the case was different for Konstantin's bloodline. Inessa believed that if anyone from Konstantin's bloodline was to be turned into a vampire, he/she would live, and instead of becoming a vampire, they become a super vampire (a vampire with super abilities).

So, Pavlovich invited him over. They talked as usual then they shared a drink. Pavlovich had already dropped a pint of his blood in Konstantin's drink. Immediately after he was done with his drink, Pavlovich ordered Dmitry to snap his neck, and he did as so.

Hours later, Konstantin awakened. He felt different, he felt powerful. He wanted to move but he found out that he was constrained by chains, lots and lots of them. There were also machines connected to his body.

"What have you done to me, Khrushchev? Why do I feel this way?" Konstantin asked.

"You're are turning Konstantin. So Inessa was right" Pavlovich said with a grin.

"Turning?" Konstantin asked confused.

"You have such great abilities, Konstantin. When you drink vampire blood and die, you don't lose your powers...your powers and vampirism become one" Pavlovich explained.

"Why are you doing this to me? My family, my people will not survive once I turn" Konstantin said.

"That's really not my concern" Pavlovich said.

"Should I start the collection?" Inessa asked.

"Immediately" Pavlovich demanded and then he walked away as Konstantin kept on calling out his name. Inessa pushed a button and the collection began. The machine took a lot of blood from Konstantin. It weakened him. When Inessa was done, she informed Pavlovich and he instructed Dmitry to take Konstantin to his home. Before Konstantin left Pavlovich's layer, he was instructed to drink human blood or else he was going to die.

Dmitry passed Konstantin down to the men below him. The last man that Konstantin was passed to was responsible for returning him to his family. Anytime the vampires came around, the supes would run and hide. They were the inferiors. The vampires and the supes couldn't co-exist. Sometimes they would suck a supe dry until they are dead, while other times they would show mercy and let the supe live.

It didn't take long before Konstantin chose himself instead of his family. He tried to hold himself back but he couldn't. He wanted to live. He was dying. In the process of feeding on them, he killed them both. He blamed the death of his family on Pavlovich. He locked himself away in his laboratory, concealing himself from civilisation. This was how it was going to be till he figured out a way to get his revenge on Pavlovich.
