Asiva's words made Max's mind go absolutely blank. He had not planned for this to happen at all and the sudden news was sort of overwhelming for him.
It felt good for sure, but at the back of his mind there were also a million doubts that arose as a result of Asiva's words.
' Am I ready to be a father? '
' Am I even going to be alive to see my child being born? '
' Is my life even safe to bring a child to this world? '
' I haven't even wed Asiva yet….. '
' When will the war get over? '
' Will I be a good father? '
' Will I also be absent from my child's life like big brother? Will the burden of raising him/her fall on Asiva? '
' Is Asiva okay? '
Max's mental state was a mess but he could not show it to Asiva as all he could do was hug her tight.
