*Narrator pov*
A tie was something no one wanted, both sides liked to see themselves win and although the duel was interesting to say the very least it still ended in a draw.
Kingsley walked off the platform his face seemed to be set in stone it was obvious the Ravenclaw was not amused at the end of his duel.
Kingsley was practically forced to hole himself up in a shield for most of the duel his competitive spirit felt deflated.
"Don't worry about it mate you didn't even lose! How could you have known about that spell anyway," Remus said trying to cheer his teammate up
Kingsley sighed, "Of course, I know that I just sucks I had such a good feeling about this one,"
Kingsley then smirked, "You will win it back for us though right?"
Remus chuckled nervously, "Of course,"
Following that impressive feat of magic would be tough but Remus didn't need to show a grand display of wizarding prowess he just needed to win.
Looking over at the platform that was once again being repaired he sighed, "Hopefully I don't go against something like that,"
James seemed to appear out of nowhere, "Come on Remus! You can beat anyone easily after all you have been training with us,"
Remus rolled his eyes at James's attempt to alleviate the tense atmosphere, "You say that like we are professionals,"
James snorted, "Arent we?"
While Remus and James went back and forth Kingsley peeled off and found himself a seat, "You know in a professional duel that spell wouldn't be allowed," Pandora said behind him
Kingsley turned around in his seat, "Too bad this isn't professional dueling then," he mused bitterly
She shrugged, "To be fair a lot of the spells both sides are using would be illegal. Professional dueling is a different world after all."
Kingsley laughed even though he knew she wasn't making a joke, "Yeah you're right, no need to be so serious over something like this just sucks I didn't get to try your new spell,"
"There is always next time," she smiled
Xenophilius smiled mysteriously, "I'm sure you will use it later in life,"
Kingsley looked at the older Ravenclaw suspiciously, "Spending too much time with Professor Morpheus are we?"
"I can hear you?" the professor laughed while holding up his wine glass
The students laughed at the eccentric professor, Remus chuckled hearing them while he stood and made his way toward the platform.
Stepping onto the smooth stone platform Remus looked across toward his opponent, Matthew Sharrow was his name.
"Are you both ready?" the judge asked
"I am," Remus replied loosely holding his wand
"So am I," Came Matthews's swift response
"START!" the judge announced and instantly both duelists acted
"Stupefy!"
"Expelliarmus!"
Both spells met in the middle exploding against each other, creating a mesmerizing display of magical sparks.
Remus moved to the right flicking his wand, "Incendio," a ball of fire shot from his wand heading toward Matthew who went left
Matthew ducked the flame and countered, "Confringo," he snapped
Remus put his wand in front of himself, "Repello," the spell rebounded hitting the ground and blasting chunks of stone into the air
Matthew smiled as he moved his wand to transfigure the chunks but Remus was faster, "Depulso," the chunks were banished toward Matthew moving too fast for the American wizard to transfigure
"murus," a wall formed blocking the stone before Matthew stabbed forward with his wand, "lancea," the wall broke apart turning into jagged lances, "Depulso!" he incanted harshly
The stone lances launched toward Remus making him run to the left dodging the dangerous objects. Remus was quick to retaliate, "Colloshoo," the spell ripped through the air
Matthew attempted to dodge but when the spell hit the floor where he last stood a green goo seemed to spread sticking Matthew's feet to the ground.
Matthew looked up in alarm, "Murus!" he yelled hastily erecting a wall
Remus pressed on slowly advancing toward Matthew's position, "Confringo, Stupefy, Expelliarmus," he threw one after the other
The first spell hit the wall destroying it while the stunning spell hit Matthew right on the stomach stunning him further in place and finally the disarming charm stripped the boy of his wand.
"REMUS LUPIN WINS!" the judge announced causing the Hogwarts students to cheer

As I walked down from the platform it was hard to fight the smile building on my face. I must admit winning felt sooo good.
Sitting next to my friends and hearing them congratulate me on my victory was just an added bonus that seemed to lock in place the accomplishment I felt.
I must admit, when I first started to attend Hogwarts I was unsure of how I would be able to stay in the school with my condition and everything.
My confidence was at an all-time low and I felt like I was a danger to everyone in the castle.
I still feel like that though.
But, BUT! Ever since James, Stiles, and Sirius accepted me and showed me true friendship, and even forced me to sign up for this insane club I have been growing more and more confident in myself.
I must admit I owe everything to my friends.
Without them, I wouldn't have been able to stand up on that platform confidently.
As I heard them announce intermission and ask everyone to head to the dining hall for some refreshments before the fourth-year duels I couldn't help but turn to my friends, "Thanks for forcing me to do this,"
"No problem mate that's what friends are for!"
*Morpheus pov*
With intermission being called I stood along with everyone else and began to head inside. As I walked toward the dining area I couldn't help but lament on how odd this felt.
No agents of Tom, no allies to haggle with, nothing but the duel to concern my mind over.
This was practically a vacation.
I took a seat and started to eat my burger and fries, they had a good selection over here. I would say American food is better than British but I'd still have to say Greek food is better than both.
While eating my fries Emily asked me, "Are you also a master of rituals? I saw you enlightening the Hogwarts side over what spell Luca was using,"
Taking a sip of water I replied, "Indeed, I am both a master of Divination and Rituals. I'm a strong believer that they both go hand in hand,"
She nodded, "Although I am not a master in either I would still have to agree from what I've seen and heard,"
"I'm surprised you allowed him to use that spell," I remarked taking another frie in hand
She looked curious, "How so? It is family magic I can't dissuade him,"
"A ritual of that caliber should be used by a fifth-year at least. Luca Stone was hurting himself more than his opponent, even with the draw Kingsley was relatively okay but Luca will be feeling discomfort for some days," I replied calmly
She frowned, "You're right I should have a talk with him about it, thank you, Professor,"
I shook my head, "Please just Morpheus,"
