Chapter 116 - Tutoring pt3

*Narrator pov*

In the morning at Hogwarts, students woke up in their respective house dormitories and headed to the Great Hall for breakfast. The magical ceiling above reflected the current weather, creating a captivating atmosphere. Students enjoyed a variety of magical and traditional breakfast options.

After breakfast, students attended classes in subjects like Potions, Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and more. The classes are held in various enchanted classrooms throughout the castle. The students who have been studying more in-depth lately were tired from their nightly activities.

Lunch soon took place in the Great Hall, where students were served a magical feast prepared by the house elves. The food magically appeared on the long tables, offering a wide array of choices to satisfy different tastes.

In the afternoon, students had free time to explore the castle, visit the library, or participate in extracurricular activities. Some may choose to practice spells in the courtyard, while others attend club meetings or prepare for Quidditch matches and or dueling matches. Xenophilius strayed from his fellow Ravenclaws and headed toward the divination classroom.

Xenophilius walked toward the classroom with unhurried steps a wistful glint twinkling in his eyes. As he passed by some younger students he heard them mutter "Isn't that the loony bloke?" Xenophilius smiled not minding in the slightest

*knock*

*knock* His knuckles rapped on the door of the divination classroom.

"Come in Xenophilius," Morpheus's voice could be heard

Xenophilius opened the door and stepped inside of the classroom, suddenly he found himself in darkness as if nothing existed but a pitch-black plane.

The pale figure of Morpheus shimmered into view, a creepy smile spread across his face that unnerved Xenophilius.

"Well, you wanted to be my student," His chuckle echoed across the plane

*Morpheus pov*

"You asked to be my student Xenophilius don't back out now," I chuckled seeing his confused and anxious expression

"Student in divination bloody hell what is this supposed to teach me!" he yelled spinning around and looking for light

I laughed loudly, "I thought you would know by now after reading the book Xenophilius," I walked closer to him the darkness not bothering me one bit

As I approached the young Ravenclaw my smile slipped off of my face, "Do you know what the biggest problem for wizards learning divination? It's not that the third eye is rare to have, it's not concentrating either. It's fear, a closed mind, unwilling to embrace changes of the unknown," he looked confused, "I don't fear the unknown?" he said stepping back

I shook my head, "Tsk, Xenophilius all you fear is the unknown. You refuse to share your visions which I don't mind but I can see it in your eyes that fear is creeping into your mind,"

"That isn't the unkno-"

"Ah but that's not it, you walk around whimsical, a smile on your face as if you don't care about what other people think of you. Your mind won't even allow you to think about embracing your true thoughts," I didn't let him butt in

The truth is Xenophilius has a unique mind unlike anything I've seen, he is extremely adaptable but that brings a problem.

"You are adaptable, taking new ideas and concepts in great stride which is a problem. You view your divinations from only one perspective, you think of what others more 'knowledgeable' would say not what your heart says. To truly understand visions derived from divination you need to be able to look at the vision from all perspectives, even the perspective of your most hated enemies," my voice was soft but it echoed throughout the darkness

I was now right in front of Xenophilius, my hand reaching upward.

My palm met his forehead and then I pushed, "Bloody hell!" he yelled

In the enveloping darkness, Xenophilius felt an inexplicable sensation of weightlessness, as if he was descending into the depths of the unknown. Suddenly, he was engulfed in a kaleidoscope of colors, a cosmic tapestry that seemed to transcend the boundaries of reality.

Vivid hues danced before his eyes—shimmering greens, electric blues, and ethereal purples. Nebulas swirled, forming intricate patterns that mimicked the strokes of a celestial artist. Planets materialized, each with its own unique aura, surrounded by constellations that pulsed with an otherworldly energy.

Stars twinkled like distant diamonds, casting a mesmerizing glow on the cosmic canvas. Xenophilius marveled at the beauty and complexity of this astral realm. He floated amidst an interstellar symphony, where the harmony of the universe unfolded in a breathtaking display.

As he descended further, he found himself surrounded by floating plants, their iridescent petals unfurling like enchanted blooms. The air was filled with the scent of celestial flora, adding an intoxicating element to the ethereal journey.

Xenophilius couldn't help but reach out, fingertips grazing the intangible wonders that surrounded him. It was as if he had stepped into a realm where magic and reality coexisted in a dance of cosmic enchantment.

As his fingertips touched the colors his mind seemed to shrink and suddenly he was seeing through the eyes of a muggle soldier in war.

Then he was a dog barking at its owner.

A plant basking in the sunlight.

An ordinary salary man.

A dark wizard hiding in the cold.

The experience provided a sensory overload that transcended the ordinary. Xenophilius, lost in the cosmic tapestry, felt a profound connection to the mystical forces that governed the universe—a revelation that would forever shape his understanding of divination and the boundless wonders that lay beyond the veil of the tangible world.

Xenophilius's eyes snapped open and suddenly he was back in an ordinary classroom. He got to his feet sweat poured down his back drenching his robes, his body inhaled and exhaled in exhaustion, confusion, and nervousness.

The Ravenclaw looked over to see Morpheus reading a letter with a small frown on his face.

"I saw destruction!" Xenophilius suddenly yelled in surprise and anger

Morpheus looked from his letter with a smile on his face, "Get some rest," he replied smoothly

Xenophilius was exhausted how he wanted to rest, "NO! In the bloody vision we did in class before the duels, I saw destruction and somehow you were always in the center of it! I just wanted a teacher don't drag my family into this or Pandora,"

"I know," Morpheus replied surprising Xenophilius

"Now go back and get some rest, my student we will discuss this further at a later time you need time to digest your thoughts," Morpheus said with a smile

Xenophilius left leaving a grinning Morpheus, 'His sight is stronger than expected'
