Chapter 7 - Student troubles-7

I stalked down the halls once more, a disarming smile marred my face as I greeted the students and staff members I passed, turning the corner I saw a large group huddled together.

Ravenclaws and, Hufflepuffs, Gryffindors, and Slytherins all huddled whispering in hushed tones of horror.

I approached the group and saw what the object of their dread was, a student lay on the floor, he was deathly thin. Dark bags pillows under his eyes, he looked as if he was on death's door.

"Move," I intoned the students parted for me

Kneeling down next to the student I frowned, I had an idea of what happened. Taking out my wand I began to softly whisper, "Cleanse the darkness plaguing him," my words were spoken in Arabic

Some of the demonic energy faded but not enough, he will need immediate medical attention and an exorcist, luckily I'm well-versed in the arts and can help him later.

"What happened?" I asked the students

"Go get Professor McGonagall," I told a Gryffindor before they could reply

"We don't know professor, we just found him like this," a Hufflepuff said with concern

"We got here when there was already a crowd,"

"Found em like this professor,"

I frowned, "no one knows who found the body first?" I questioned

They shook their heads timidly, I sighed deeply, my eyes scanned the crowd, and I spotted one student leaving. The second I laid my eyes on his back I knew it was him.

My eyes aren't only used for divination but they allow me to see the true forms of others, this child isn't a demon but has taken demon blood.

"What happened Professor?!" an alarmed voice rang out

"Professor McGonagall, I'm not sure this is unlike any curse I've ever seen," I replied in a somber tone

Minerva shot out a Patronus, she went down to touch the child, probably to search for a heartbeat but before she could I shot my hand out and held her wrist, "don't, whatever is affecting him can latch on to others," I told her

"How do ya know!" she bit back angrily her Scottish accent thickening with her rise in anger

"Because I first made use of a detection and analysis spell used in Islamic wizarding hospitals to treat curses," I replied calmly brushing off her anger

She huffed turning to the crowd, "students get back to your activities we will handle this,"

The students quickly scampered off hearing her strict tone, she then flicked her wand causing the boy to float beside her.

"I'll take him to madam Pomfrey," she told me then quickly began to walk away

I stood up and followed her, "it might be good for me to come along, I was the first professor on the scene," I told her as we cut through the corridors

"Very well," she replied briskly

I have a distinct feeling that she doesn't like me all that much. I don't even remember doing anything.

-Narcissa Black pov -

Currently, I sat at a table with some of my friends and my overbearing sister.

"So Cissy how was Divination? That professor creeps me out," my sister Bella commented while playing with her wand

"He's not that creepy Bella, and Divination is so much fun! We've only had one class but I just have this feeling that his class will be one of my favorites," I replied with a broad smile

"He seems interesting," Severus added softly not looking up from his book

"He's so mysteriously handsome!" my friend Donna swooned unashamed of her unclothe behavior

"Behave yourself," I lightly jabbed rolling my eyes

He was interesting and mysterious, that's what confused me, why did Grandfather seem like he knew the new professor? It's not possible grandfather rarely leaves his estate. And the man isn't even British.

"Did you hear about what happened to Stiles?"

"The mudblood got what was coming to him,"

My table quoted as we heard the conversation next to us, eavesdropping is a great pastime to have in Hogwarts.

-Morpheus's pov -

It was now the dead of night, I stood from my bed and walked to the window, I looked up to the moon and stars, the moon shined with an ethereal glow. Taking out Galleon I rested it gently on my thumb and flicked.

*shennn* the coin spun through the air, the glow of the moon reflected off the coin as I awaited its verdict.

The coin fell into my hand on the side of the coin facing up was the ancient Greek symbol meaning good luck.

I smiled at the assurance tonight was going to go well. Taking out my bag of holding I began to sink into the shadows.

I emerged in the infirmary, and the boy lay deathly still as I approached him, the taint of demonic energy can be erased but the effects will stick with this child forever.

Be it good or bad, the effects will definitely guide his life to something rather unusual, the feeling this curse puts onto you is one of absolute coldness, it makes you feel death but not reach it.

It's a beginning spell used for torture, it's taught to younger demons and their followers. But, depending on how much demon blood the child that cast this spell ingested the spell can be more powerful and harder to fight off.

Hence why I did the small divination spell before I used the basic ingredients.

From the energy levels, I can tell either the child hasn't ingested a lot or, the demon that fed him blood is weak.

I took out two items from my bag of holding, a cross necklace and holy water. First I draped the cross necklace on top of the victim's head, the cross was in the middle of his forehead now.

Second, I took the holy water and began to gently splash it onto his head, hands, and any exposed skin.

"Sink," I spoke in a language not known to anyone but devils and angels even then only the highest forms of them know how to speak it

The name of the language is confusing, the angels call it the word of God and the devils call it the word of temptation.

I call it the voice of the world. It sounds as if thousands of people are talking at once, old, young, middle-aged, demonic, angelic, cat, snake, dragon.

Muggles would just hear the main language they speak but, when spoken in certain ways wizards will either die or blackout, this is caused by the language affecting the magic in your body. Sadly it's not handy in battle as humans like I have to prepare for a long time to just speak a few words.

As I spoke 'sink', the holy water sunk into his skin, and the child began to convulse on the table.

"In the name of the holy father until this child's soul, mind, and body," I spoke again

Red energy began to exit the youth and pour into the cross on top of his forehead.

"Awaken!" I exclaimed a bright light shone around him

The cross was now glowing a faint red and the child regained his youthful vigor. I put on enchanted gloves and picked up the cross.

It was good material, especially for some rituals.

Turning around I left the room.

-Pov James potter -

Those dirty snakes attacked Stiles, I bet it was Snape, that greasy bastard.

They don't know who they are messing with, Stiles is a friend of mine, Sirius and Remus.

The snakes will get what's coming toward them!
