It has been a minute already since she went inside the car but the car didn't move. She got herself busy reading some class notes on her phone and she didn't notice the curious stares from the man in the driver's seat.

"Miss, just move forward here in the front seat, I looked like your personal driver."

The man said afterwards.

Hailey had her brows knitted into a frown but she didn't object anyways. She doesn't have any spare energy to argue so she just moved to the front seat.

The man didn't spoke afterwards and she got herself engrossed in reading her notes again because she has a quiz tomorrow at noon. She didn't notice that they headed into the opposite direction.

"We are here, just follow Jena's instructions, alright? I believe you already spoke with her right?"

She didn't know what the man was talking about. She casually nod but upon opening the car's door, she got confused why she's in a different place.

"Hey, are you crazy? Why did you bring me here?"

She asked but she was too late, the car already drove away.

Some men in black with armed guns went to her and led her towards the door inside. It seems like she's in a luxurious villa.

She was about to protest but she got scared thinking that the goons might shot her anytime soon if she makes any mistake.

"You are so stupid Hailey, you just got kidnapped!" She nearly pinch herself because of her stupidity. How did she ended up this way? Will this be the end of her? Will Lizzy be left alone again? Will these goons kill her and have her organs get extracted afterwards? Did she went victim of a notorious syndicate?

She nearly fainted with the thought.

"No! I need to think of a way to get though this!" She calmed herself down.

She nervously followed the goons inside and she was led into a spacious room with a beautiful woman wearing a formal suit.

The goons didn't follow her inside, much to her relief.

"Hi, I guess you are Claire?"

"No, I'm not. Miss look, I think you mistook me as another person. Please let me get back."

The woman's expression changed and she looked quite nervous..

"Well, Claire or whoever you are, I'm sorry if you were mistaken as the person we hired, but you cannot back out. Because the two of us will be dead by those men in black outside if anything goes wrong tonight. Just pretend you are Claire, okay? I promise you will be compesated greatly after this."

She carefully explained in a hush voice, afraid that someone might hear the conversation.

Upon hearing that she will get herself killed if she disagrees, she frustratedly heaved a sigh.

"So what am I gonna do?"

"You just have to look pretty and exchange wedding vows with someone. You will meet him later. No worries, you will just present yourself as Claire, just sign the marriage contract afterwards then you are good to go."

"Is that all?"

She curiously asked because if that's all she has to do, then she got no problem with it. She just need to act as a fake bride. She's used to be a member of the theater club so acting is just a piece of cake for her.

"Yes, that's all. As for your compensation, the money will be transferred to you in your bank account.. I am Jena by the way, and here's my number."

She said while handling a business card.

"Message me through WhatsApp with your banking details so I could wire it to you right away."

Hailey just nodded at her. The situation she was in seems to be quite ridiculous, she even skipped work but at the very least she's earning money and that's all that matters.

Someone knocked on the door afterwards and the team sent to do her hair and make up and to dress her up just came to fix her all over.

"Alright, I'll leave you to them now. I'll be back after a few minutes."

Jena said then walked her way towards the door.
