"please stop hurting me." She said with a pleading voice and he slung her to the ground with a lot of energy as if flinging a ball. She fell as if jabbed by a car and she whirled on the sloppy ground, it wiggled her and the baby and though the thorny weeds and sticks on the ground were battering her arms, she clutched her baby tightly refusing to let go of her and she kept on tossing groaning and whimpering and halts beside a lake and she almost swiveled into the lake.

Chapter 1 - Angela

"Please don't do this, " she implored carrying her eight months old baby girl. He yanked her hair firmly and her eyes bulged feeling her cranium constricted as if clamped by a rope. He shoved her to the window, her baby blubbered as she was unsettled in her arm. As the lady was approaching the window, her hand accidentally shoved a bunch of plates off the table they landed against the floor and banged audibly and she whacked her arm and head at the glass window and blood exuded from her fragile head streaming towards her neck and shoulders.

There was a massive downpour, the rain was squeaking noisily and the firm breeze was incapacitating the tall trees that stood in the forest outside her little home. The baby in the lady's arms was almost gliding from her arms as her arms were squirming and the lady jerked her closer to her. The baby's boisterous howls rumbled in the lady's ears.

The man, her husband progressed to her and he clutched her arm. "Stop please have mercy..." She said with a pleading voice and he flung her to the floor she sputtered smashing her knee on a thorny stick which had tall nails erecting from it, it slashed the lady's knees and she cried out, "aw.." Moaning she endeavored to clasp her baby from grazing the floor.

"Come here, " her husband shrieked and he scampered toward her, clutched her arms tugging her from the floor, she was as vulnerable as a foam, "please let me go.." She sighed.

He grasped her neck firmly heaved her to the wall and she leaned against it wheezing to breathe, she unleash a cough and he screamed at her face, "die! Why won't you just die?"

She strived to breathe and she peeked at a rod hanging by the wall, she spanned her hand towards it and pulled it closer, she hoisted it and cracked his head over with it.

"Aw, " he snorted loudly. She strode from the wall and she hobbled outside patting her knee as she plodded. The rain saturated her immensely and the baby her feet were getting smooched as the moist ground kneaded her feet.

He clasped his head firmly snorting like a cow. Cascades of crimson blood dribbled from his forehead spattering in his palm. He got angrier and he smashed the wall.

"Angela! Angela!" He shouted her name and he strode outside. The thunder hummed and the lightning flashed only to disappear.

The lady felt troubled listening to her baby screeching restlessly. She wandered through an army of trees which stood agilely like fortresses. The leaves on the trees gave a shrilling noise as the heavy breeze spanks them.

Archie her husband stood outside clenching a torch light and he erected the torchlight swiveling it around peeking left and right wondering where she could have scampered to.

He could not detect her around and he screamed her name, "Angela! Angela show yourself to me! You're not gonna escape from me, you are going to die tonight Angela.!"

Angela hearkened to his voice and she became spineless, her hands fluttered and she continued staggering, her dress was getting bathed with mud and her legs were wrapped in thick mud.

She attempted to run and she misstepped on the soggy ground, the child in her arms rolled off her arms getting bathed in the mud and she immediately slanted herself towards the baby and clasped her and yanked her nearer to her.

"Mama...mama..." The baby growled and she attempted to cuddle her child. Angela sensed a gleaming light beaming on her face and she spiraled her arm endeavoring to cover her face, her brows were wrinkled and her eyes enlarged realizing it was Archie strutting in front of her and she wheezed, her heart jogge fast.

"How dare you try to get away from me." He bent deliberately and he squeezed her arms heaving her up, she firmly wielded the baby. She glimpsed at the icy glare on his face, his face was so gruff and she trembled like a leaf.

The icy breeze snuggled her and the rain wouldn't stop pummeling her, her eyes were starting to get drenched as the rain spilled into them, "please stop hurting me." She said with a pleading voice and he slung her to the ground with a lot of energy as if flinging a ball.

She felt feebleness inside her bones, she gasped for air and she unhurriedly conk out.

Archie sneered wildly that he could no longer detect her, he assumed that she is now dead and his eyes abruptly turned from green to its usual color. An evil dark spirit inside him disappeared, he unexpectedly started twitching as if being electrocuted and he dropped on his knees and slowly the twitching hung back and he puffed out audibly.

He felt his clothes drenched, his hair moistened and his feet covered in mud and he understood that it was raining. He rubbed his arms together jerking softly and he glanced left and right wondering where he was.

"What am I doing outside? Where is my wife and daugter?" He got jittery and he trotted inside, glanced left and right and he couldn't sight neither Angela or their baby anywhere.

He sauntered into their bedroom and he got apprehensive he could not spot either of them and he galloped back to the sitting room, "where are you girls?" He felt terrified and he peeked left and right. Although the lights in the room was dim, he specked the blood stains of his wife drooping on the walls and on the floor and he kneaded his head in disquietude, "what the heck happened to my wife? What happened in here?"
