Chapter 68: Breakthrough!!!
Lancelot Jr threw fireballs at the attackers, he then used the wind element to trap and grow the intensity of the flames on them, his control speed was already extremely fast, and while dodging and attacking he suddenly had an epiphany.
It was a feeling he was used to having any time he had a breakthrough, he had not only broken through to level 3 in his air element, but this improvement also covered water as well, while he just reached the peak of level 4 of his fire element control.
He was astonished by the great leap in strength he felt even lighter, like the wind was part of him, he was floating mid-air.
"He can control air too?" the men were stunned,
"are you sure this is the fire king?"
"He controls both air and fire'.
As these men were talking, another realization came to Lancelot Jr, and this time it was an insight into the water element.
'l cant blood control for now, as I am yet to activate the skill, maybe I can do something similar to blood control, human bodies are made up of at least 70% water, what if I can use that in a fight.'
"Correct Junior" the spirit speaker suddenly responded, causing a surprised smile to fall on Lancelot Jr's face.
"Got it" he smiled and then pushed forth his hands, suddenly he could feel the fluid within the five bodies, right in front of him, he could feel the path which the fluids pass through, and as he moved his hands, he could feel his control over every single drop.
He suddenly gripped his hand tightly forming a fist as he controlled the water in the bodies of these men, causing them to gather at a point, he then pulled his hands backward, causing the bodies to be drained of water, as the fluids in their bodies rushed out of their orifices at a
crazy speed, the five men screamed, they could barely control their hands anymore.
Their guns dropped, they gripped their chest, their hearts couldn't control the pressure, before they could even utter a sound they took in their last breath and died.
They were completely drained of water, their body fell like a stiff mannequin.
There was finally calm, the four came directly to him, "you can control fire and water too?" Zain said in a low tone, he was too surprised to think clearly, "the King is indeed awesome" he said with a look of respect.
"Get the humans, and let's go" Lancelot Jr spoke quickly, and Zain rushed back to call them out. They came out following Zain and got on the bus.
Rob drill had some cuts from the bullets, but he was relatively fine, while the rest were completely fine.
They didn't see what happened but from the discussions of Lamil and Zain, they could roughly guess that Lancelot Jr and Zain had a lot to do with their safety, they also saw the family that joined them, 'it's going to be a long journey' they thought, considering the internal space of the van and the others who would need rescuing.
Lancelot Jr sat with Alisha who was just smiling at him, the remaining people also saw him in a different light, he could have easily joined the attackers to silence them, but despite their attitude towards him, he still rescued them.
Rob Drill was conflicted, so were Rick Warren and Gerald Guye, however, Xavier
Xu couldn't care less, he was simply indifferent.
The Driver was also safe, he was an earth elemental, who was also a teacher, but he was someone who grew up battling with fear, too afraid to show his abilities for the fear of hitting someone, so mostly he would stay behind or look around during training, he was asked to be their designated driver because he was regarded as basically useless, his connection to the Wang family has always protected him even though he has no merit in terms of power, however, he had a good heart.
He also at the time hid behind Rick Warren who was much stronger than Rob Drill and blocked the bullets from going any further in the Van.
"1 hope we are all okay, we would now be going to the second family, we have more ground to cover, so let's move fast." Lancelot Jr spoke quickly,
This time there was an improvement in the atmosphere in the van, their respect for him had grown, even Xavier Xu couldn't help but marvel at the importance that Lancelot Jr brought to the team.
Although he didn't see clearly how Lancelot Jr had dealt with the five men, but he felt that for Lancelot Jr to have a go at them alone, he was not to be underestimated.
As the van moved, there was a sudden explosion of the house left behind, immediately, everyone looked up and saw an aircraft releasing bombs, they increase the speed of the van and changed their direction to remain undetected.
"Reinforcement may have come after they couldn't get through to their colleagues, it's fortunate that we finished on time and left." Lancelot Jr and almost all others shared this thought.
The driver stepped on the gas and drove off, meandering through the bush path with trees, thanks to the map, they were able to use the tree canopies as shade and protection to avoid detection till they got on the road.
They had no long-range destructive weapons like long-range rifles and bombs, so fighting against moving aircraft would be difficult.
"Have you broken through?" Alisha suddenly whispered the question in Lancelot Jr's ears, to which he nodded "hmmm", " you'll be even able to protect me more now" she said with a smile.
Lancelot Jr suddenly asked a question as he thought of something, "what of Aunt Cherry? Is she safe? Have you heard from her?" he asked with a serious tone and frown.
"She is, we talked this morning shortly before the gathering on the hall, she had given me her location and how she intends to move, I also told her about our movement, we might run into her along the way. She wants to try and save some of her human friends."
Lancelot Jr nodded and felt relaxed, but right there he then remembered something, "My foster mom Clara and Uncle Thomas!" He exclaimed suddenly as he slightly raised his voice, everyone turned their heads and looked at him with a bit of confusion and curiosity.
'l have felt something was missing from the start, I didn't know what it was but I had an off feeling.'
He thought
He then turned to the opposite side and spoke to the driver,
"Please teacher, I need to save my mom and uncle, they stay at Mongroove street", the teacher didn't hesitate, he immediately turned the car around and started to move towards the road that leads to that direction.
