Jack tracked the two goons down to the exact spot he expected them to reach. He waited and watched as they hopped into the van and began making phone calls. He remained silent as they called and called with no one replying them. After a few seconds of calling, the caller nodded to the driver.
Seemingly relieved from Jack's point of view, hiding in the thick garden flowery, the driver ignited the engine and pressed on the accelerator, switching gears slowly. They drove off in their getaway van; he imagined them to be feeling very proud of themselves. Chuckling away to himself, Jack followed them.
Was he really going to chase a van on foot? Well, of course not. Even though he could run at such high speeds, he would definitely run out of stamina before they got to their destination. He could have just ridden his car, but going back to his vehicle and then to this location would have taken too much time.
