Kyrillus Roussel
The book read [summoned man allow me to explain why I've brought you here. my name is Kyrillus Roussel and in the few thousands of years of my life I've persuade two goals; unlimited longevity and the strength of godhood, the apex that all cultivators like myself pursue; well, few are presumed to have achieved. Before I delve in to why exactly you're here.
I'll explain a few necessary things. this land is calls Alvis the ruling country in the northern continent and its inhabitants that pursue strength beyond the mortal limits are known simply as cultivators. countless paths are used but the term remains mostly the same.
In this world there are 9 supposed full realms divided in sets of 3 with 3 stages in each realm; however, there is only much known of the first 6, the first 6 are known as
foundation,
ascending,
earth,
sky,
sole,
emperor.
Where one must complete 3 stages to step into the foundation realm and off the path of a mortal. I've been in the third stage of the soul realm allowing me to live for over 2,800 years, however my longevity was too short for me to breakthrough into the emperor realm as why I am here. In the ancient era a cultivator whom died at the last step before fully ascending to godhood left behind a set of near countless books that bind to the verry roots of the sole.
The books themselves contain spells that mutate or alter one's roots with only 3 mutations possible without shattering the soul. After countless creations he finally created 3 for himself; however, his last creation was also the death of him.
Maybe the heavens smited him for his creation or maybe the spell book creation devoured his soul as energy because the mutation he created wasn't simply a spell of great force or elemental power. It's mutation allowed one to achieve immortality or limitless recovery as it was an immortal bloodline! the power to live forever and share immortality!
Unlimited longevity without the need to reach the pinnacle so long as you use the spell book! Of course, it's not invincibility, the mutation only keeps your sole and body from deteriorating and increases recovery exponentially, but with unlimited time one could reach true godhood and create a sole powerful enough to reform after destruction and with the help of the recovery repair itself without flaw.
The time to reach godhood and the recovery to be a nie invincible god. well, the immortality may be useless for a god with an already immortal sole as gods can reform a shattered sole but with heavy cost. This negates that cost completely, the pinnacle of immortality, self-reconstruction upon destruction and the ability to grant it!
This is my reason for being here and the reason I know all of this is due to his writing in his 2 other final books. As I've neared the end of my life the only option left for me was the [immortal bloodline] book and with the information in the other books I've found it. Alas without reading the book [all elemental] it's impossible to cross the water body and all cultivation is locked in the depths of this damned cave. I've already read 2 other spell books so even if I read [all elemental] I'll be unable to read [immortal bloodline] and still die in a matter of days. As such iv used a forbidden sole shattering spell to increase my power and with the powers granted the books, I've read leave an inheritance and summon a sole of similar wavelength to mine and implant a small amount of qi in your body.
The other books are in my pouch [eons] and [all elemental] I'm afraid my time is ending, there's more information in the books, read them before implementing them. I'd say I wish to leave more of a foundation for my inheritance, but immortality is already better than any resource weapon or piece of information.
Do well my inheritor and with your sole wavelength I know you'll be able to achieve all that I could not so long as you manage to stay alive.]
'So much to take in! immortality? cultivation? it's like a fantasy!'
I stood dazed re reading the leather booklet in my hands over and over again before finally looking towards the podium. It's too hard to believe that immortality laying a near 120 meters away from me. it's hard to describe what I'm feeling now. I doubt it, I really doubt it; but if it's not bullshit then...
I moved almost without thinking taking the satchel off its worn straps and dug through it. 2 black books and a small purple pouch fell out. Grabbing the first took I read [eons] and saw a small glyph on the cover. It looked strange but somehow understand it just like after the circle in the lather booklet. opening the book, I read a ton of information about the books and how there were broken up into colors.
Black, orange, crimson, cyan, violet, blue, green, white with black the strongest and white the weakest. Once you activate a spell book it leaves a permanent mark on your body, similar to a tattoo. It seems as no matter if your soul changes bodies or you cut them off, they reappear to the extent that if you inhabit a skeleton, it will still have the marking on its bones, as its coming from your sole its self. I peaked at the skeleton and saw nothing. Well without the soul it wouldn't make sense to show them. after that it was about the other books of its class. The black books. Vague location and history and some repeat information of the leather booklet.
Noting else seemed to matter to much as they were all hear already other than the activation and description. Activation requires users' blood to open a link to the soul by dropping it on the glyph. 'Simple enough'
