Chapter 1 - Nightmare

A beautiful girl is seen running among the thick forest trees that are so high. She always looked back, as if something was chasing her.

"Aaaaa... please!"

"Don't! Don't hurt me!"

"What's wrong with you? Why are you always after me?"

The beautiful girl screamed loudly. She fell to her knees and started to cry because she was so scared.

"You have to be responsible. Hahaha," the voice sounded very hoarse and thunderous.

The beautiful-looking girl immediately covered her ears with her hands. it seemed he could not bear to hear that very scary voice.

"You must suffer, I will avenge my death. You and your arrogant friends must suffer greatly. You will suffer the consequences. Hahahaha," the terrifying voice sounded again.

"No!"

The beautiful girl woke up from her sleep screaming loudly. Sweat dripped down her face and body, because again she had bad dreams, dreams that were for who knows how many tens of times since the terrible incident on campus a few months ago.

a feeling of guilt that is so great, makes him always haunted by those scary dreams.

"Astaghfirullah, again this scary dream came in my sleep." The girl said to herself.

Suddenly she felt heat all over her body. the ac that had been on in her room, seemed to no longer work for him. Sweat had already soaked him who was very frightened. She went to the kitchen to get a drink of water, because her throat felt so dry right now.

She opened the refrigerator in the corner of the kitchen to get cold water, because her body felt so hot and hot after a bad dream.

"Maybe drinking cold water can cool my mind more." She thought.

The beautiful-faced girl immediately took a bottle of mineral water, then she took a sip of the drink. Not bad, at least it can make his heartbeat a little more stable.

"Huft, finally." She muttered as she put the mineral water back down.

Not long after, the girl immediately closed the refrigerator door. However, what is it?

Her eyes caught a woman who was standing beside the refrigerator door. Suddenly she was very surprised and spontaneously dropped the bottle he was holding.

"Aaah."

The girl screamed while closing her eyes and covering her ears, ignoring the slippery floor again because the water she was holding fell into the floor.

"J....don't! Don't hurt me!"

She said in a stuttering voice as if holding her breath. from her voice it could be heard that she really did feel scared.

"Jenna!"

Hearing the woman say her name, the beautiful girl named Jenna immediately breathed a sigh of relief. She started to open her eyes, and there was a woman who turned out to be Ranti, her mother, grumbling with a sour face.

"Eh, Mama. Huft, thank goodness Mama came." Jenna snorted in relief.

"You think Mama is a ghost? Why are you screaming in the middle of the night like this?" asked Ranti who was still annoyed.

"Yes, after all, Mama just showed up, didn't tell me first. I was scared, Mom. I thought that Mama was Mbak Kun." Jenna actually teased her angry mother.

"Ugh, it's good that you said that to Mama," Ranti snorted in annoyance.

"Hehe, I'm sorry, Mom. Oh yeah, what's wrong with Mama, it's already the middle of the night still in the kitchen. What are you looking for?" Jenna asked not wanting to lose.

"Earlier, Mama heard you screaming, so Mama looked into your room, but it wasn't there. Then Mama looked for you to go to the bathroom, but still you weren't there. Finally Mama looked for you here, and it was true that you were in the kitchen." Ranti is still continuing her nagging event while picking up bottles and cleaning up the stagnant water on the floor.

"Eh, that's right, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I promise I won't scream again. I'm sorry Jenna, Mama," Jenna said as she hugged her mother who she loved so much.

"Why are you yelling anyways at this hour?"

"Sigh, I was really scared, Mom. I had another nightmare." Jenna said as she pulled up a chair.

She then sat in the chair with her mother followed. They sat down with a tense look on their faces.

Ranti looked at her daughter with pity. H

She stroked the hair of her only child as she hugged her.

"You dreamed about your college friend named Jonathan, didn't you?" Ranti could immediately guess what kind of dream Jenna was having.

"Yes, Mom..How did Mama know about my dream earlier?" Jenna asked looking surprised.

"That's a dream that you experience almost every day. You also often talk to Mama. How is this Mama's child," said Ranti while stroking her daughter's hair.

"Eh yes. That's right, Ma. I forgot, hehe," Jenna giggled.

"Oh yes, Mom. Do you remember the terrible incident at my campus at that time?" Jenna asked with a troubled face.

"Yes, dear. Of course Mama remembers. At that time, the suicide incident at your campus caused an uproar." Ranti looks sad when she remembers the incident.

"I feel so bad for Jo, Ma." Jenna said, looking down sadly at the memory of the terrible past.

"Why, honey? You didn't do anything wrong. It was all fate. Maybe your friend was frustrated because of something else, and not because of you, honey." Ranti tried to calm Jenna down.

"No, Ma. Jonathan committed suicide after I rejected his love. Worse yet, my friends also often bullied him. I'm sure he must have killed himself because of me. Huhuhu." Jenna burst into tears instantly.

"Mama, I.... I'm so sorry. I really feel guilty. Sob, sob." Jenna sobbed incessantly.

Jenna's heart felt very sad, because of her guilt. She immediately threw herself and cried in her mother's arms.

Her memory drifted to the bad events of two months ago.

The beautiful girl's name is Jenna Adelia. She is a student at one of the leading universities in the Capital. She is considered a successful girl and gets many achievements. No wonder so many men come to express their love for her. however, for some reason she wasn't attracted to them at all, because Jenna had a past wound that traumatized her to be in a relationship with a man.

Jenna has four close friends whom she really trusts, namely Riana, Melly, and Stevi, and Indah. they were like sisters to Jenna, for they would always be there in her good times and bad.

The four of them have been friends since they were in high school, except for Stevi, who is a new student. Even so, but they don't mind it, and always take the time to meet or just heal together.

In college, Jenna was so popular that many bosses asked her to be his wife or mistress. However, Jenna paid no heed to any of that. In fact, there is a man who has secretly captivated Jenna's heart, namely a man named Jonathan.

Jonathan, a smart man, smart, but always seems geeky, because he can not be separated from the glasses that are always perched on the bridge of his nose. He's a very handsome and kind man, that's what Jenna saw. However, every time she wanted to spend time with Jonathan, her friends always felt bad. Even without Jenna knowing, they often bullied Jonathan and uttered harsh words that hurt him.

Jenna's friends even asked her to leave Jonathan, even though she had repeatedly refused. it was then that Jo finally confessed his feelings for Jenna. However, Jenna was forced to reject Jonathan's love. Apart from not wanting to interfere with her relationship with her friends, the trauma in her past is also very difficult to erase.

two days after Jenna rejects Jonathan's love, the man is found dead by suicide on the campus grounds. Someone saw that Jonathan jumped from the fifth floor, and his head hit the yard very hard, causing his life could no longer be saved.

Jenna always blames herself for what happened to Jonathan. She had always felt guilty for rejecting the love of such a kind man, and was convinced that the reason Jonathan committed suicide was because of it.

Of course it made Jenna feel very sorry, and so did the rest of her friends, as well as her college friends. They seemed sorry for insulting the innocent man so often, and now all that was left was regret.

"I'm sorry, Jonathanyour life could have been better if it hadn't happened at that time." Jenna regretted softly.

The incident was etched in his memory. I don't know how long she will continue to blame herself.

when Jenna was crying in her mother's arms, suddenly from the front door they heard something that made them gasp in surprise.

Praagg.

The sound of glass breaking, but who broke the glass in the middle of the night?

Jenna and her mother looked at each other, before they finally decided to check into the front door.

When they got there, there was no one around their house. However, what did they see?

Their window glass had been shattered, and there were some stones around the broken glass.

This made Jenna and her mother feel very surprised and scared, especially since her father was not at home at the moment, because she was out of town on duty.

"Who did this, Ma? Who threw stones at our house in the middle of the night?" Jenna asked her mother in confusion.

"I don't know, Jenn. Why is it like this? Who's doing this?" Ranti looked very panicked.

Jenna immediately looked around the house, and looked around the place carefully. Huh, what did she see?

A very scary sight. Jenna saw a figure wearing a long black robe standing around the bushes in his yard. The figure was in the darkness of the night in his black robe that looked terrifying.

Jenna's heart was beating really fast. repeatedly he rubbed her eyes to make sure her vision was wrong. However, her eyes weren't wrong at all.

The black-robed figure remained standing under the tree, with both eyes fixed on where Jenna was.
