Eve and Zach's POV.
Eve's POV.
The rest of the evening was a horrendous mess. Between the awkward conversations and cold stares. I could tell that most of my family did not approve.
I forget how long we stayed their listening to their babble. But at some point, I thought to myself that enough is enough and grabbed Zach's hand and dragged him upstairs to my room.
Yes, I still lived at home. It was at grandfather's behest.
I didn't think much about what I was doing until I closed the door behind us and we were both standing there, awkwardly staring at each other in the darkness of the room. Only illuminated by the soft glow of the moonlight.
"It's okay I am perfectly comfortable sleeping on the floor." He said as he went to the bed and grabbed only one pillow.
Next, he walked over to the armchair and grabbed the thin blanket that was there. He plopped down on the floor like it was the most comfortable thing in the world.
I wanted to say something anything however we had really only been together once and that was our wedding night. For the rest of our married lives, we were basically complete strangers.
He probably knew how I felt and that I wanted to get to know him again before we slept together.
He was just being considerate.
I grabbed my pajamas and went into the bathroom to change.
"Have a good night." I said as I came out of the bathroom in my pajamas and got into bed.
"Night." He said softly back.
Like that my crazy day came to an end as I slept with my husband in the room. He was sound asleep within minutes.

Zach's POV.
The next morning I woke up around five o'clock, stretched my body and went to the bathroom.
After relieving myself and changing into workout gear I quickly made my way out of the bedroom and down the stairs.
Eve's room was on the second floor.
Nobody else was awake yet except for a few maids and some security guards.
I made my way out the front door and then out the entrance gate.
After making it outside i stretched a bit and the ran down the hill.
Eve's family house was located atop a very large hill. I ran down the hill then back up it, i dont remember how many times i made the trip nor how long I had been running for.
I just kept running.
I felt something ever since I stepped foot on this soil, it was boring, oh so boring.
My days used to be spent cleaning my weapons, working out and killing enemies. That was my life for the past four years.
I lived it and relished in it.
'Damn I guess something in me died long ago on that retched bloody battlefield.' I thought to myself as I came up the hill once again.
As I came upon the crest of the hill a beautiful sight caught me.
It was my wife, Eve.
"Hey. How long have you been up." She asked still in her pajamas.
'What time is it now." I looked down at my watch and saw that it was already seven thirty.
I had run up and down that hill for the past two and a half hours!
"Since five I guess." I spoke.
"Oh, wow you got up really early. I bet you are hungry would you like some breakfast."
As I was about to answer my stomach let out a defaning growl, causing my cheeks to turn red in embarrassment.
"Growwwwllll!"
"I would love some." I said quietly as I followed her indoors.
