LEAM P. O. V
Leam was in his room getting ready to go out with Jack. They are not dating although they do go out to the movies, have dinner and even just sit and talk to each other. Jack was yet to ask him out... Wait a minute they are both man, if he wanted to ask Jack out he could. No. Damn. Burn all those thoughts to hell. Jack left him once, he can always leave again and he just has to accept that or deal with the pain again. His not strong enough to survive second time when the first time crushed him so bad he got a transfer to Moon Academy High (his phone rang drawing him out of his thoughts.)
"Okay I am coming."
Under normal circumstances he wouldn't have even contemplated the idea of bringing Jack into his family home but his parents are out of town so he has the whole house to himself. The plus side to his parents being out of town is that he can go out with his other group of friends and be who they truly are. Although the negative of being in this large luxurious home is that this house gets so big that it is lonely. He opened the gate and Jack entered.
"Change of plans come in, I am just piecing an outfit."
Help? Help with what? Leam looks around his very pink and white feminine room, Jack does not know he changed so much…
"What? No. I mean just wait, I am almost done."
He quickly dropped the call and faced his large mirror.
*Knock. Knock*
"Jack I swear if you enter..."
"Came up here to tell you to close the gate."
"OH.. Yeah.. Sure.. I forgot thank you. I will be down in a minute, please wait down stairs... Wait a minute, how did you know I was here?"
A few weeks after Jack left him his mother found moved them to the city, Here in Moon. Jack was a painful memory and she despised seeing her baby boy waiting out in the cold like some lost and abandoned dog. His parents were really supportive they transferred their jobs here and he transferred to Moon Academy High. The point is... This is not the house Jack was used to, this was a completely different environment.
"You are my fated mate, love. My wolf will always be able to sense you, oh and plus this is the only room that has a potent marshmallow scent."
What? Out of everything marshmallows? Yes his room smells like marshmallows because of his perfume he recently acquired and it is so sweet he noticed. His mother got him addicted to the flossy brand and it soon became his favorite scent… this man's observations will get his caught in a room of mirrors if his not careful.
"Is the reason you do not want me to enter because you are naked?"
"Wouldn't you like that…"
He rolled his eyes, the soft feeling evaporating and his attention back on his task than the annoying man. He was still deciding his mood for today just to pair up his outfit..."
"I would actually."
That was sarcasm idiot… What did he ever see in this guy? Did Jack leaving make him a better person? He is much more honest with himself and who he is, perhaps he saw a guy that will break him to greatness.
"No. I am not naked."
"Then why can't I enter? And how long does it take to put something on?"
The answer to his question was the bed and how he felt around this man. No. Jack entering would be a terrible idea for both his body and his sanity.
"Because I said so. And just for that I will take an extra fifteen minutes, besides I remember saying wait downstairs."
He decided on his denim jeans, he is going to be hanging out with Jack so he removed his cute shorts. Remembering his company today Leam removed his entire outfit and went to wearing his 'normal clothes' whatever that means. Finally dressed and proud of himself for piecing such a dull but cute outfit together. He finally left his room and took the stairs down to an empty living room. Suspicious as to where the guy he specifically told to wait for him went off to.
The only people at school who knew his preference are Jayden his best friend and his ex since they met at the bar he goes to with his 'girlfriends'. Jayden did not really know the extent of it but what he did, he never judged. In fact his friend encouraged him at times to be bold and express himself but he does not understand how hard it is. He knows his friend just wants the best for him but sometimes the best is just finding acceptance.
And as for Cash, they dated before he realized how much of an ass he is. His deep rooted fear of commitment, coupled with his inability to accept who he is makes him go to gay clubs and bars. The walking crisis just goes to those places to get transsexual man or transvestites in his case to feed his appetite but never really commit. But yet again Cash is not really a bad guy, he is just confused and he is trying to find himself. Leam just thought it would be best to let go before he was dragged back into his mess, where uncertainty was the norm he followed.
"Perfect."
Okay... He added a little eyeliner, a little mascara and his pink gloss that matched the colour of his lips. Perfect... His hazel, mixed with green and brown eyes popped... Yes. This look made him look cute but in a daring fashion. He looks good though... Spraying his marshmallow scented perfume, he walked down the stairs and looked around. Jack was nowhere to be seen, did the man leave him?
"Jack.. Jack.. Agh, his impossible.. What are you doing here?"
He found Jack in the family room… There were so much pictures here of his family, many pictures here that he treasured but most importantly some pictures her that are incriminating in a way. Damn why did he have to look at that one picture that has his attention imprisoned.
In that picture his mom helped him with his look. He had make- up on, fake lashes a stylish long dark wig and removable nails. He wore his favorite cotton candy crop top and a blue skirt and his pink pairs of shoe lifts that made him look taller than he already was. With those shoes on he would probably be almost as tall as Jack. That was a cute picture of him so his mom decided to print it and frame it here alongside other pictures she likes of him. Leam went along with it because this step showed him his parents loving acceptance beside no one but family was allowed here. No one but family enters. Jack is in here. Jack will recognize him. Jack will hate him. Jack will judge him. Jack will leave him again. Jack does not know his story. Jack should leave.
"You have a younger sister? I did not know that."
"That is because you left. Common let's go."
"Wow... How long were you holding that one in? I have been trying to make things right between us, why do you have to make it so difficult?"
Jack pushed past him and he released a sigh of relief, let his secrets be safe for another life time. He would rather have Jack mad at him for him being and impossible bitch than having Jack despise or judge his preference.
.
.
"Where are taking me?"
"To the woods."
"What the fuck? Take me back home. If you into getting mulled by wild animals, you can go alone."
"I am the animal that does the mulling (he winks at him). Trust me to protect you, taking you to the location up North it is very important to me."
"Trust you! Apart from the fact you left, you scared me by sitting on a ledge after you drugged me and now you want to take me to the woods that definitely have wild dangerous animals. No. I do not give a flying hoot if it is important to you, I want to go back home. Unlock the damned doors."
"Leam relax. Stop panicking Jayden will be there."
"So? Jayden being there does not mean you not psycho."
Okay at this point he feels like his being unreasonable but in normal circumstances, how is a person expected to react? Especially if you that the man's past track record to consideration.
"Leam you are starting to hurt my feelings. What must I do to prove to you that I will never hurt you?"
"Firstly you can start off by looking at the road when driving and secondly by taking me home."
"If I take you home I might not have enough time to come back to the woods. I just-"
"Shit are you in some demonic cult? Shit I knew it, werewolves can't be real..."
Jack turned to park at the side of the road, Leam couldn't even read his facial expression. Maybe he Jack took much accusatory suggestions that he is actually considering murdering him. Does he think killing him here would be easier than waiting till they get to the secluded woods? Scared, tears pulled and since it was with Jack he couldn't master the strength to be brave. Jack released a sigh and turned to look at the cars speeding by.
"Look Leam. I get you don't trust me but can you at least hear me out before judging me to be a bad person?"
His right. People who live in glass houses should not throw stone. He threw stones before hearing him out, his a horrible person. Leam slowly nod, glossy eyes not turning away from the only hunter in the car.
"Today is a special day for my kind. The full moon is near and it will appear later tonight. The only place that is safe enough for us as werewolves to transform, is at our family farm that we own very deep within the woods. We shift far from humans as to not accidentally hurt them because that will break the mutual territory laws. The farm is our territory so no shifters will dare cross borders therefore keeping our omegas safe."
"Why didn't you just say so? Here I thought you a serial killer."
"You didn't give me a chance. Can I start driving now?"
"Yes. One question... I am not a wolf... Why are you taking me?"
"You are my fated, I wanted introduce you to my world. I was serious when I said I want to make things right. This time I am not going anywhere."
Leam relaxed and Jack continues driving. Jack is brave enough to introduce him to his world and he does not even want him to see him.
"Jack."
He whispered but Jack heard him as if he said it out loud, his supernatural hearing or whatever it was.
"Mhmm..."
"I'm sorry. I am sorry for the accusations, you don't deserve this."
"You right I shouldn't have left. I am sorry, love."
Love? Love.
'Jack I changed. I am not that little boy you used to play with, that teenager that you dated. I am disgusting to some people, I am unjustly judged by most. Speaking of judgment... Will you judge me as harsh as I judged you? (His preparing himself because he feels like he deserves it)'
A silent tear fell and Leam looked down hiding his face from the werewolf in the car.

JACK'S P. O. V
The scent of tears made its way to his nose. When he actually paid attention to his fated made he realized he wasn't actually sleeping. His shoulders trembled, he heard soft whimpers and apart from the scent by his actions he knew Leam is crying.
"Leam. What's wrong?"
His wolf nudged at him to make their fated feel better. Hell he hates the scent of his mate's tears. He wanted to stop the car and assess his mate but they had to make to the farm before he turned beast behind the steering wheel. Their untimely stop and his fated mated taking an almost hour to get ready took time they should have used behind the wheel. It was turning dark now so stopping the car would be a massive mistake but he hates his fated so upset.
"Nothing. I was just so mean to you, how do you not hate me?"
"Because you are my baby..."
"I am older than you."
"Really? Damn, rate my maturity levels."
His face lit up in something between shock and confused and he lightly punched him.
"Cheap shot... Not cool man... That was not funny."
At least he was not crying now, he continued the drive waiting for his fated to say what truly bothered him. From the beginning it felt like he had something important to say and always went against saying it.
"You don't see me laughing right? Leam, it is in my blood to love you and try to protect you in every way imaginable. It does not help that I still remember that little boy who didn't fear the big bad wolf."
"What wolf?"
"My brother. He once shifted when you were around and instead of going home, crying wolf... You huddled closer to me and awed at Jayden's smaller beast."
"Why do I just remember that day now that you mention it? I am sure seeing a person turn into a wolf was the literal highlight of my life."
"Sure, but unfortunately your memory of that incident still had to be cleared... If not we would have been worried the secret of our kind would be in the hands of a cute human who accidentally discovered the existence of werewolves. Besides apart from that, my mom and some elders said other humans would use you to track, hunt, enslave and kill an entire race."
"I don't think-"
"Love. Don't think about this, this is my world and every decision has the chance to affect everyone. Think of humanities past track records. Currently there is a war between two counties most of the world made it very clear where they stand knowing the facts. Humans don't need to know what is right and wrong to fear what they don't understand, it is just a way of life we have just come to accept."
"You trust me now?"
"Because now you understand the people that can be affected. Even if you are still mad at me, I am your fated and I am wolf I will be affected."
"I was never really mad at you, I was hurt. Jack, I am not the same Leam you remember and the sooner you stop perusing me the sooner I can go back to being me."
What the hell does he mean by that? Does he know there is nothing he can ever do to stop him from loving him? There is nothing he can do his everything has always belonged to this uncertain man before him.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Nothing, it will just make things a lot easier."
"We here. It looks like Xander and Noah are going to be late."
Before his fated could get out the car he pulled him back and faced him head on.
"No matter who you have become, I will still love you."
"Really?"
"Really."
He vowed. He had to vow, whatever his fated was not telling him must be so bad that he constantly kept pushing him away.
