Upon entering the village, Tang Sheng looked at the horror caused by the goblins throughout the crudely made streets. Corpses of women, children and men strewed all over the ground with limbs missing and blood covering the ground. "They sure move fast, already slaughtered a village?" Tang Sheng wasn't new to slaughter, violence and war, in fact he had committed too many sins to count on battlefields over the years. When he saw the first goblin, munching on the remains of a young boy no older than 10, he flicked his finger, shooting a small rock that pierced through the creature's forehead.
-I hear survivors ahead in that large building, some sort of town hall I would assume?- He thought
He took a large step and instantly arrived at the entrance of the hall, the once fortified door had been broken through, leaving the villagers lambs to the slaughter. Just as the Orc was about to continue his killing spree, a voice was heard behind him.
"Oh? This one is bigger than the others?"
As the 8-foot giant in green skin turned around, he noticed a tall and handsome man with long black silky hair, deep red eyes and an aura that even he was afraid of. Korz, the Orc, has never been afraid of another being, with the exception of his clan leader, until now.
The other villagers noticed the Orc shaking in fear and staring behind him, so they followed his gaze. What they saw amazed them. A being so handsome he was akin to a God, with an aura so dangerous he could be a Devil. Dressed in a pristine white robe, only two of the 28 villagers left guessed who this could be, and once they did, they were similarly terrified.
"Oh great Saint, we have disturbed you! We deserve death!" The village chief kowtowed on the floor shaking profusely. Hearing this, the teenage girl confirmed her thoughts. "This, is him?" she thought in reverence.
"You know me, old man?" Tang Sheng asked curiously.
Hearing him speak, the chief once again had a shock, "Lord Saint, our ancestors have depicted the stories of you saving our village from extermination hundreds of years ago, there isn't a living human around this region who doesn't know of your existence."
Tang Sheng was shocked, -If they knew I was there, how come no one disturbed me?- he thought, not realising that disturbing the Saint was a death sentence in all surrounding villages.
The Orc, whilst this conversation was going on, attempted to back away slowly away from the terrifying human. His instincts were screaming at him to run away, or he would die here. He was one more step from the doorway, when he felt an invisible power stopping his tracks.
"Where do you think you are going, Orc?" Tang Sheng could see the creatures name by looking directly at it.
Whilst the villagers were watching this conversation, a teenage girl rose to her feet from the kneeling position she was previously in, and approached Tang Sheng. "No! Stop!" the village head ordered, a God was not to be disturbed, and they had already done so. The girl shrugged this comment off, she has finally seen the being of incredible strength, that lives upon the mountain peak, how can she not beg for instruction? after all, she was known as the Martial Demon in her village for her constant training and hunts. Having an instructor at the peak would be a dream for her - she could not miss this opportunity!
Tang Sheng turned around, after briefly speaking to this Orc, that seemed to understand his words, a teenage girl approached him. He curiously looked at her, "What is it, little girl?" he spoke.
She dropped to her knees at the pressure this Saint was letting out, barely able to say a word in front of him. Rising up through the pressure, she managed to speak. "I.. I would ask the Saint to take me as a disciple" she softly spoke with her head down in a bowing position.
The village head's eyes nearly popped out from their sockets. -If the Saint was so easy to talk to, wouldn't we have communicated with him by now? You have no chance!- He thought.
Tang Sheng looked at this teenage girl, with a muscular body, pretty face and naturally beautiful bright green emerald eyes. -Strange- He thought. -This girl has a unique aura; I've never seen this before-
"Fine" he stated.
Mai, the young green-eyed beauty, was flabbergasted. -Is he serious? it's so easy to become his disciple? I thought I would have to go through a series of tests at least- She thought
"If you can go through him" Tang Sheng evilly added whilst pointing.
Mai looked towards his finger, directly to the 8-foot Orc still frozen and unable to move.
"You, you're joking right?" she replied in horror.
