When I woke up Rahul went out to bring something.We had our lunch and were discussing about the atmosphere hear.Rahul returned home after some hours,he was looking sad.He said to grandpa"a cloud of locust has invaded into our village and caused a great loss to the crops.They have consumed more than a quarter of the crop.The district collector called me to examine the situation as I am a chemical engeneer.So I went there in the morning."By this words of Rahul grandpa felt really bad.After all he is a famer too. The sun started to set.It became dark.Rahul put on the lights.The atmosphere hear is completely different from the one I experienced (in 1990). There are many facilities hear.There is no fear of darkness,they have lights,no fear of rain and leakage,they have concrete roofs.Then I thought of the swing where I used to sit and sing songs....played lot of games under the shade, had lots of juicy tamarinds.These people are enjoying by destroying nature but we enjoyed along with nature.
we had our dinner and occupied our places to sleep.I casually turned and to my surprise Rahul was looking at me.He is not even blinking his eyes.His looks are attracting me.I cannot turn my looks even.But I somehow managed to do it.Suddenly I remembered that I just have 7 days left.With my eye corner I can still see him looking at me continuously. I really want to talk to him.But I am a girl of 90s,shy to speak and above all this he is the person who helped us by giving shelter.Being a classical girl I don't dare to speak to him.The only fear I have is that..... what if he would reject me.....??What if he likes Sam???With all these taught in my mind I fell asleep.
Next day I woke up very early.Rahul was sitting with his laptop.He looked at me"good morning Hazel.Had a good sleep..?"I felt a little shy and said"yes...I do.....did you had a good sleep..?" I asked him without looking at him. He stood from his chair and started walking towards me and said "no....I was thinking ....."
"Hazel....where are you..." sam called me in a loud voice interrupting our conversation.I said "I will be right back" and started to walk into the room.Rahul hold my hand and said "I will be waiting for you...please come soon.." in a very low voice.I made myself free from him and walked into the room. I asked Sam....."what happened...why are you so loud..?"Sam answered that she saw a cockroach and shouted.I really want to go back to Rahul and ask him what he wanted to say.His eyes were magical.The way he hold my hand.....I was wondering what he wanted to say.Then I thought to continue the conversation and I started walking towards veranda. My grandpa woke up and asked me to make his morning tea.I was vexed.This is my first conversation with Rahul.I went to the kitchen and made him some tea.I served him and ran to the varanda. Rahul was waiting,he looked so tensed as I am...my voice was shivering.I stood there.He looked at me,he came closer....I can hear my heartbeat very loud....he came so close that I can sence his breath on me,I am feeling very tensed..my hands were about to shiver.He took my hands and pulled closer in a gentle way he attached his forehead to mine and said "I have never seen such a simple and traditional girl.Your looks are beautiful.If you agree I would really love to marry you.Hazel..... I love you so much.I want to hold your hand forever...."

His mobile rang.I was a bit shy and pushed him away and tried to walk inside..he hold my hand and said "I will be waiting for your answer....you can take your time...."
I took my hands away from him and walked into the room.I just wanted to say yes but I cant.There are only 6 days left for me.How can I tell him that we are travelling with time.Even I wanted to marry him I cannot.But I cannot explain this to him.With all these thoughts in my mind I was sitting in the garden...my eyes were filled with tears..my heart was heavy.
All of a sudden somebody kept their hand on my shoulder.I thought that it was grandpa but he was Rahul.I tried to hide my tears by turning my face in opposite direction.He hold my chin and turned me towards him.He asked me "you didn't like me...?its fine you can tell me..." in a disappointing way.I cant tell him anything."please answer me.If you don't answer now,then I will consider it as no"he said this looking into my eyes.I cant stop my tears... I turned my head to hide them.He thought that I didn't liked him.His voice was filled with pain and said"its ok.I will never force you."He stood and started to walk away.I feel like he is taking my life along with him.I felt helpless.I am an old girl of 90s who is traveling through time and there are only 6 days left for me to return to my present.I then decided no matter what and how I don't want to loose a person who loves me so much.I stood up,ran to him immediately.This time he is hiding his face trying to hold his tears.He not even turned to see me.I just went and hugged him from back placing my hands around his waist.His tears fell on my hands.
He hold my hand and took me into the garden,so that no one can see us.He hold my chin and raised my head and said"I know that you love me so much.I can feel it in your eyes.If you have any problem in answering me you can tell me.We will try to solve it together.Hazel!! look at me.Do you trust me??"
I cant stop my tears.I said "yes.I believe in you".
He came to me very close and asked" Hazel,do you love me..?"
I answered him in a confident voice, "yes I love you".
He felt so happy.He came a little closer and kissed me on my forehead. He placed his hands on me cheeks and wipe those tears with his thumb.He is very happy.He stood from my side and said" I will talk to your grandpa about this.We will get married soon."
We had our lunch in the afternoon.Rahul went to grandpa to talk about us.Grandpa was still thinking about the locust attack on crops.Rahul sat beside my grandpa and asked"grandpa!! what is your opinion about me..?"My grandpa laughed out loudly (hahaha.)...and said"You are tall,handsome and smart with morals.You even don't know us.I just said that I am your fathers friend and you provided food,shelter and everything for us....that shows you are kind hearted.I have a great opinion on you my dear".
He took grandpas hand and said "I am in love with a girl.I proposed her.She accepted me.But I can see a kind of fear in her eyes.I just want to know what is stoping her to marry me.Will you please help me in this grandpa???"Mona,Reena,Sam and I were also listening the conversation from the room.
Grandpa said"who is she..?why will someone deny to marry a handsome guy like you..?"
Rahul said "I will tell her name only if you promise me that you will help me in our marriage.You are the only one I have grandpa. If my parents were alive they would surely helped me in this."
His voice was filled with sadness.
My grandpa said"I promise you my dear.I will not only help you but will solve this completely.Trust me.."
Rahul said"grandpa her name is Hazel.! Your grandchild.I am in love with her".
He is very brave.My cousins looked at me with a shocking expression.Sam came to me and gave a hug saying "congratulations. Rahul is a great guy.He told me about you in a greate way,he respects you very much.I can feel his love towards you in his words.I am very happy for you Hazel."
Suddenly grandpa called me....(Hazel.....come hear)....
