Chereads / Rhapsody Of The Dragon / Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

"Carrick, Garcia, are you there? Your child is about to hatch. Quickly come over."

The female dragon carried the dragon egg and felt the vibration of the dragon egg. As she walked out of the cave, she shouted at the dragons lying on the ground outside.

"I'm here. I'm here, I'll be right there!"

A loud roar came from within the group of dragons. A 20 meter tall figure suddenly soared into the sky. It was a handsome silver dragon. It spread its wings and flew over at high speed. After that, it landed in a natural and elegant spiral.

"Haha, my cute child. Let daddy take a good look at you."

As it descended, it stretched out its hand towards the female dragon.

"Boom!"

However, before he could land, another slightly smaller silver dragon suddenly rushed out and rammed towards the huge dragon from before, directly knocking him onto the ground.

"Scram to the side. Of course, the child will look at me first."

The smaller dragon looked down at the huge dragon on the ground and said.

"Come on, my child. The first one you see is your mother."

Then, she smiled and took the dragon egg from the female dragon.

"Wait a minute, Garcia, that's also my child!!"

"I know, Carrick. I will let the child remember me first before letting you hug me"

The giant dragon called Garcia laughed as he hugged the dragon egg and said.

"Come on, my child. Come out quickly. The first thing you saw when you were born was your mother!"

Garcia stared at the dragon egg in front of her and said softly.

"Try again. It will definitely work!"

Within the dragon egg, the young dragon also recovered and prepared to break out of the shell again. This time, he did not receive any hindrance and easily broke through the bindings of the egg shell.

"I'm finally free!"

The young dragon cried out as soon as it broke out of the shell. However, it only let out a howl.

"The sound... isn't right?"

After the young dragon cried out, it realized that it was different from what it had expected. It opened its eyes slightly. What entered his eyes was a huge face. The silver scale armor was shining under the sunlight. The golden vertical pupils reflected a small figure with an eggshell on its head. The figure was covered with tiny silver scales. It was only about half a meter tall, and its wings were covered with mucus. It shook and shook.

"Monster!"

The young dragon once again let out a cute cry.

"See, you scared the child. Be good, come to Daddy's place."

Carrick mocked Garcia. At the same time, he stretched out his hand to take the young dragon.

"Another one!"

When he saw an even bigger dragon next to him, the young dragon let out an even more panicked cry. Then, he fainted.

Carrick's hand stopped in midair. He blinked at the unconscious young dragon. then turned around and asked the female dragon who had brought the dragon egg out.

"Is this a normal phenomenon?"

"Who knows? Maybe your child is sensitive and afraid of strangers. I have seen a lot of young dragon, and it's not like there aren't some even weirder ones. When a young dragon was hatched, the first thing it did was to eat his father's nails. What is this?"

The female dragon shrugged her shoulders and turned around to walk into the cave.

"..."

"..."

Carrick and Garcia looked at the female dragon who was walking away. They looked at each other for a while and lowered their heads to look at the young dragon in Garcia's hand. They did not know what to say.

"Uh..."

After an unknown period of time, the young dragon slowly woke up from its coma. It let out a low moan and opened its eyes.

"Look, García, our son has woken up. How beautiful is he?"

The low growls that came from beside his ears woke the young dragon up. He raised his head and looked at the two huge dragons that were staring at him. His body could not help but freeze.

"Shut up, Carrick. You scared our son again."

In the young dragon's vision, a slightly smaller silver dragon was roaring at the larger silver dragon beside him.

"I just want to get close to my child."

Carrick poked his claw in disappointment and said in a low voice.

"Don't talk about this. Have you thought about the name of your child?"

Garcia turned her head and asked Carrick.

"Of course, Garcia. Although our child was born a little earlier than I expected, I was prepared."

Hearing Garcia's question, Carrick immediately perked up.

"Then, my son, i, Carrick Trix will give you your name. From now on, your name is Igrel Trix. As one of the three great dragon seeds of the Giant Dragon Clan, the descendant of the Heavenly Dragon Seed, you should continue to grow."

Carrick placed the young dragon on his claw and announced with a solemn expression.

Looking at the face that was so close to him, the young dragon that Carrick named Igrel felt suffocated.

"I feel like my throat is being choked by fate..."

Young dragon, no, Igrel thought in a daze.

"Hmm... Dragon?!"

A few days later, Igrel was lying at the mouth of the cave, basking in the sun. He narrowed his eyes as he pondered.

On the first night after the incubation, Igrel received the inheritance memory from the Dragon Clan in his dream. He obtained the preliminary information and communication ability of the world he was

in.

"Why am I here? I should be a... person before, right?"

Igrel thought as he searched for the part of human memory that had been squeezed into a corner by the large amount of inheritance memories of Dragon Clan.

"I remember that I felt dizzy at that time, and then I woke up here. In other words... I'm dead? This doesn't seem like a dream, it should be true."

Igrel stretched out his tiny claws and confirmed in his heart.

"I don't remember what illness I have. Could it be that I have some illness after the last physical examination? Or maybe...

I was too tired?"

Igrel kept guessing based on the situation at that time.

"He didn't get hit by a car, nor was he electrocuted, nor was he struck by lightning. Even if he stayed at home, he would still encounter such a thing. Should I say that life is full of surprises? Is this considered transmigration? Or reincarnation? This won't do, the amount of information is too much for my brain to process."

Igrel's entire body collapsed onto the ground as he spread out his small wings and sighed.

Igrel's entire body collapsed onto the ground as he spread out his small wings and sighed.

"And then? Where is the must-have golden finger for transmigrators? Miss System?"

Igrel said half-heartedly, but nothing happened.

"At least give me a data panel."

Of course , nothing happened .

"So now , besides becoming a dragon , I have nothing else?"

"If possible . I really want to go back immediately , but .. that's impossible."

"So according to the genre of writing novels, there's no hope for the System Stream, and the data Stream isn't either . It can't be the trash Stream, right ? Could it be that I'm a dragon with some flaws?"

When he thought of this, Igrel immediately started to get nervous.

"But I don't lack arms or legs either. My wings are still there. At least on the surface , I'm quite normal. As a dragon ..."

Igrel kopt looking at himself and commented.

"Could it be magic bower?"

Such a scary thought emerged in igrel's mind. According to the inherited memory of Dragon Clan every giant dragon was born with great magic power, but Igret was not sure if he was still a pure giant dragon if it was a useless dragon without magic power, then it would be fun.

"Magic power, magic power..."

Igrel followed the instructions of the inherited memories and sensed the magic power flowing in his body. He kept whispering. Soon, he felt the warm current flowing inside his body. Although he could not use it yet. Igret could understand that it was his magic power

"Phew, it seems to be a normal start . It's good that there are no accidents."

Igrel let out a sigh of relief.

"In the future, can I only live as a dragon?"

Igrel looked at the distant sky and thought quietly.
