Initially, Arrya had expected herself to be taken the very day she was given to Alexander. He had even called her to his room that very night.
But much to her great delight, Alexander never touched her, they only talked…at least as much as they could.
And the same thing had repeated quite a few times until Arrya simply started to assume that Alexander was not interested in her.
This was of course great news to her, and she thought the status quo would continue even when she started living in the house.
Clearly, she was wrong.
And perhaps it was this realization that made Cambyses's orders come as such a great shock to her.
She quickly tried to ask for Alexander's help, wanting him to let her off, but unfortunately, only received a muted silence and a calm, pallid look.
Honestly, Alexander was also interested in seeing how his beautiful girl looked in all her glory.
