Zayn looked around the area again and spotted a luxurious fortified mansion at eight o'clock. That place seemed reasonably safe, with no zombies or monsters around.
However, the distress came from the collapsed bridge in the north.
"I wonder where those zombies came from." Zayn asked in wonder. Those zombies might come from the other side of the river, but how could they cross when the bridge had collapsed?
*Rumble!*
The sound of thunder came from the sky, and overcast clouds gradually came over the town.
"Looks like it's going to rain heavily. The storm is getting closer." Zayn looked up. It was nearly a week of sunny weather, and now they were about to be hit by a rainstorm.
"..." Angie scanned the area using her binoculars, but she couldn't find anything that caught her attention.
"We better get back to base before it rains." Zayn asked Angie to come back, and she nodded in agreement.
