Upon arrival at the base, Zayn and everyone else went to the public entrance, where they needed to go through a health check and body scan.
The villagers underwent an additional procedure because they came as new residents.
"It's smoother than I expected. Is that an X-ray?" Zayn folded his arms while waiting for the villagers to finish going through the registration procedure.
"You mean, that arch over there? Yes, it's similar to a scanning beam to the one at the airport, but a bit more sophisticated as the focus is on finding injuries and internal organ damage." Archibald pointed to a device near the main entrance.
"Yes, it's helpful, really. It's scary to let someone manually examine your body like last week." Zayn got a bit of a goosebump because he finally found out he was being harassed back then.
"Yes, that's much more effective." Archibald nodded in agreement. As Steven approached, he asked. "Steven, what about your people's injuries?"
