He had misunderstood her. It was written all over his hard set face. Confusion clouded her face for a few seconds. She felt like hurling something at him, for thinking so low of her.
"You gave me an oversized robe, and on top of that it's not decent enough. You still think I was trying to play at something?"
"An oversized robe? Didn't I already ask you to make do with it? You're going to be indoors all night long. It's not like you're going for a pool party."
She despised his arrogance and uncouth sense of reasoning.
"Well maybe you should stop thinking everyone wants to play at something. You're simply being paranoid."
"Paranoid? You're wrong. I trust you enough to tell you how ridiculous my life is. You know how vulnerable I am and you want to take advantage of it."
