Chapter 91 - Resolving Our Issues

Esmeralda woke up and looked beside her into Kain's face. The day was still young and the sun hadn't risen yet. She sat up and looked around the tent hazily, she was feeling a bit dizzy but she couldn't bring herself to fall back to sleep. She stood up from the bed and walked around the tent barefooted. One more look at Kain who was sleeping gracefully and she walked back up to the bed and slipped on her slippers then she walked outside. It was dark outside and she could be barely see yet she went outside and found a live coal where they had made a camp fire the night before. She lit a lamp using the coal and carried it outside. She walked up to the camp wall and crossed over into the forest.
