Inside the city, Leona was fighting with monsters with the mercenaries,
She is a first rate warrior so she was easily overpowering the monsters,
The mercenaries that were previously looking down on her were watching her in awe,
She was a little ahead of the others and was rushing forward without a cover,
"These things are weak... I can handle them alone "
Ice walls the size of a two story building emerged from the ground and surrounded her as soon as she said that,
Leona looked around with a surprised and fearful expression,
She manifested aura swords and said,
"These ice walls can't stop me... "
She then shot the aura swords at the ice wall,
The aura swords hit the wall but could only make a crack on it,
Leona manifested aura swords again and said,
"If one time didn't affect it then I will attack it until this damn wall breaks down "
She then attacks with the aura swords widening the crack on the ice wall,
Leona smiled and attack again,
After attacking five time, there was now a hole on the wall large enough for her to squeeze out of it,
She smirked and walked up to the hole,
But to her surprise the wall repaired itself as soon as she got close to the wall,
Leona angrily started attacking the wall with her sword,
However, the sword only scratched the wall and the scratches even repaired instantly,
The elf women appeared behind Leona and said,
"You have played enough, it's time to come with me "
Leona jumped to the side as she heard the elf's voice and said,
"Who are you "
The elf said with a gentle smile,
"There's no point in giving you my introduction... "
"Today is the first and the last time we meet. "
Leona pointed her sword at the elf,
The elf chanted a spell,
"@#!@*&!&!!!#$ "
A golden circle appeared beneath Leona and with it a golden cage formed around her,
The cage completely immobilized Leona
The elf then took out a dagger coated in green slimy liquid,
"I heard from a mercenary that you were the partner of the hero. "
"So you will be the bargaining chip for the hero "
She then scratched Leona's hand with the dagger,
Leona lost consciousness as soon as the dagger touched her,
The elf then removed the cage and said,
"It should have been easy if I was a warrior"
She then binds Leona with mana chains and flew out of the ice walls,
Near the city wall.
Two demons have landed in front of Pete,
One of the demons was wielding an axe while the other one was wielding the spear,
The demon with the axe said,
"How did you reduce the size of my master aura axe? "
Pete said,
"I don't need to tell anything to the likes of you. "
The demon kicked Pete in the chest with lightning speed,
Pete couldn't even react to the demon's speed and was sent flying back,
He crashed into the wall as dust surrounded him,
The axe demon said,
"He is only a first rate warrior "
The dust cleared and Pete stood up,
Blood was coming out of his mouth, and he had grabbed his stomach with one hand,
Pete grinned his teeth and threw the sword at the demon with full force,
The sword flew towards the demons extremely fast but the demon easily dodged it and the sword struck a tree,
The axe demon said,
"I can easily kill him... why did the queen ordered us to only engage him "
The spear demon said,
"How would I know... but she sure was skeptical "
The axe demon puts down his axe and slowly walked up to Pete,
Pete threw a punch at him but the demon caught it,
He then grabbed Pete's neck and picked him up,
Pete's legs began to flop as the demon choked him,
Even though his legs were flapping, there was anger in his eyes,
The demon said,
"Are you really the hero? "
Pete Kicked the demon but the demon didn't even budge,
Pete kicked again and again but the kicks were ineffective,
The demon said,
"Humans are pathetic creatures but you are on a whole different level "
Pete was about to lose consciousness when the demon let go of his neck and kicked him in the chest,
Pete again flew and crashed into the wall,
The demon then walked up to his axe and picked it up,
Pete was now struggling to even stand up,
The demon said,
"This is the end hero. "
He then slowly started walking towards Pete,
Pete eyes were blurry as he looked up and saw the demon walking towards him,
He then saw his sword on the tree,
Pete raised his shaking hand towards the sword,
The demon said,
"Oh, you want your sword... "
The axe demon said with a welcoming gesture,
"We are not stopping you, just go and get it "
The spear demon said while walking towards the sword,
"This sword should belong to the demons "
He then walked up to the sword and grabbed its hilt to take it out from the tree,
The dark energy entered his body as soon as he touched the hilt and started consuming his aura,
The demon also felt his aura being consumed so he let go of the sword,
He turned and was about to say something to the axe demon but fell on the ground lifelessly,
His soul then entered the sword with the dark energy,
The axe demon quickly ran up to him and shook him with his hand,
But found out that the demon was already dead,
He turned towards the sword with a surprised expression on his face,
"How did he die just by touching the sword"
The axe demon then turned towards Pete and said,
"What is this sword? "
Pete was still lying on the ground with a smile on his face,
He was trying to say something but only blood came out of his mouth,
The demon appeared in front of him with lightning speed and started punching Pete,
Pete's ribs broke and punctured his heart, his hands, legs and backbone broke, the bones were poking out of his skin, his blood was splattering everywhere, but surprisingly enough, his face was intact,
The face was protected by the dark holy helmet which has turned into earing,
The only thing keeping him alive was the golden energy inside his body,
But the demon was not stopping and was continuously punching Pete,
He was also drenched in Pete's blood,
Even tough Pete was beat up, but his eyes didn't waver and were focused on his sword,
His hands and legs were slowly turning back into gooey dark energy as they were made of it,
Most of his bones were now shattered,
The dark energy from his hands and legs was absorbed by the dark holy sword,
With the dark energy entering the sword, the strand of dark energy sent by Morsh, got out of the sword turned into a net and completely absorbed into dark energy of the sword,
The dark energy in the sword rose violently,
The axe demon felt an extreme fear and his body froze out of fear,
Even the monsters, humans, the elf and the dark elf women froze because of the fear emitted from dark energy,
The monsters mindlessly started running away from the city,
Wings made out of dark energy emerged from the sword and the sword flew out of the tree,
The sword flew towards Pete and landed on his half gooey dark energy hand,
Dark energy completely covered Pete as soon as the sword touched him,
His wounds began to heal, his shattered bones were recreated by the dark energy bones,
Even his heart was completely recreated through the dark energy,
The dark energy also turned into the lost blood from his body,
The fear from the sword subsided at that moment,
The axe demon came back to his senses and saw Pete covered in dark energy,
But before he can do anything, Pete was completely healed and he stood with lightning speed,
The axe demon took a few steps back with a surprised look on his face,
"That's the speed only the master rank warriors are capable of"
Pete glared at the demon and appeared in front of him with lightning speed and stabbed the sword in his stomach,
Blood gushed out of the demon's mouth as the dark energy ran through his body consuming his aura and soul,
Pete took out the sword with the soul of the demon absorbed into the sword,
The demon's body lifelessly fell on the ground,
Pete looked up in the sky and said,
"Thank you goddess for this gift "
The dark elf landed in front of Pete at that moment,
Pete turned towards her and said,
"Are you with the demons? "
The dark elf smiled and said,
"What if I am? "
Pete pointed his sword at her and said,
"Then you have to die "
The dark elf smiled and chanted a spell and surrounded Pete with green smoke,
But to her surprise, the dark energy from the sword completely absorbed the smoke,
The dark elf said,
"That sword is something else but I have a solution for it too"
Pete was about to attack her when she took out a small glass bottle filled with dark green gooey liquid,
She then threw the bottle at Pete,
Pete swings his sword at the bottle and shattered it and the dark energy absorbed the liquid,
The dark elf said,
"That was the most corrosive poison that can affect every metal, your sword will break apart now "
Pete frightenedly checked the sword and did not find any signs of corrosion,
He then looked at the dark elf and said,
"My sword won't break by the likes of you "
Fear could now be seen on the face of the dark elf,
'Why didn't the poison affect the sword '
Pete slowly began to walk towards the dark elf,
The remaining three demons landed behind her at that moment with one unconscious woman and two little girls tied by ropes,
Pete stopped as he saw the women and children,
The dark elf saw the hostages and said with a smile,
"Hand over that sword if you want their safety "
Pete angrily clenched his fist and said,
"I will not give you anything... release them if you want to live "
The dark elf signaled the demon and he slit the throat of one of the girls,
Pete shouted,
"How dare you kill her in front of me "
He was about to rush towards the demon when the dark elf said,
"If you move, we will kill the two of them too "
Pete grinned his teeth with anger and just glared the dark elf,
The elf women landed next to dark elf at that moment with Leona tied up with mana chains,
Pete's eyes widened when he saw Leona.
The elf said,
"The sword or this girl.... choose wisely hero "
