The girl looked toward the soldiers, adventurers and mercenaries fighting the monsters,
Their were couple of first rate warriors but the majority of them were second rate warriors,
But even with their strength, the monsters outnumber them with huge difference,
The girl said to the knight standing in front of her,
"We need more warriors, give me a sword, I will join the battle too,"
The knight said,
"You can't my lady, you need to escape "
The girl said as she made and eye contact with the knight,
"I said I will join the battle "
The knight bowed and gave his sword to her,
"As your wish my lady, I will follow you to the end of the world "
The girl unsheathed the sword and said,
"We will either win or die in this battle "
The knights around her unsheathed their weapons too,
She then wore armor and ran towards the monsters with the knights following her,
As they got close to the monsters they all manifested aura swords around them,
The soldiers morals increased as they saw the girl on the field,
They shouted,
"The lady has joined the battle... let's kill these bastards "
The soldiers then charged with all their might,
The girl and the knights behind her were shooting aura swords and killing the monsters with alarming rate,
But there was still no end to the monsters,
Even they got tired after some time,
A demon with horns, wings and a longsword was watching everything from afar,
He sighed and said,
"That human girl has skills but is inexperienced "
"She used all her strength at the start, but the real battle hasn't even started yet "
The girl and her knights were now pushed back by the sheer numbers of the monsters,
The demon opened his wings and flew towards the girl,
A knight saw the demon flying towards them and said,
"A demon is flying towards us "
The other knights quickly surrounded the girl and they began to move towards the city gate,
The girl said,
"What are you doing... let's fight "
The knight said,
"We can't fight a demon in our condition my lady "
The demon reached to their location in no time and was hovering above them,
The girl looked at the demon and said,
"How dare you attack my city "
The demon smiled and said,
"You shouldn't threaten someone stronger than you human girl "
The girl said,
"Let our swords decide who is stronger "
The demon pointed his longsword at the girl and said,
"Your sword hold no candle against my sword "
He then engulfed his sword in aura and flew towards the knights saying,
"But let me clear the obstacles first "
The knights smiled when they saw the demon only covering his sword in aura,
One of them even said,
"A second rate warrior dare to threaten first rate warriors "
But to their surprise, the demon's speed was so fast that they couldn't even block his attack,
The demon was cutting down the knights with ease,
The knights surrounding the girl were killed in the matter of seconds,
The demon then landed couple of meters away from the girl,
The girl's eyes were widened as her legs were shaking and her hands were trembling,
She was drenched with the blood of the knights,
The demon said,
"Look at you... you couldn't even stand properly... so how would be your sword stronger than mine"
Tears started to fall from the girl's eyes,
She screamed and fell down on her knees and picked up the head of the young knight,
"You promised me that you would never leave my side... yet you left me "
The monsters were about to attack the girl but the demon sent them away,
He was looking at the girl with a big psychotic smile on his face,
At the same time, all of the ships on the ocean were submerged,
The monsters from the sea were now eating the soldiers from the ships,
Male and female mermaids emerged from the ocean with long spears and began to attack the soldiers on the land,
Now the city was under attack from all sides,
The city gates were closed now and all of the soldiers, adventurers and mercenaries were now protecting the gates,
In the courtroom of the city lord's castle,
A soldier entered the courtroom and said,
"Lord, the mermaids are also attacking "
The city lord and the other officials were surprised when they heard this,
One of the officials said,
"Why are mermaids attacking us... we don't have any animosity among us "
The city lord said,

The girl picked up her sword and manifested aura swords and shot them at the demon,
The demon easily dodged the attack and said,

The girl covered herself in aura and charged towards the demon,
She swung her sword but the demon blocked it and kicked the girl,
The girl flew away couple of meters and her armor broke,
The demon said,
"Don't bore me now... show me the power of love "
The girl stood up, tightened her grip on sword and charged toward the demon,
The demon caught her sword with his two fingers and punched the girl on her stomach,
The girl coughed blood and flew away leaving her sword between the demon's fingers,
At the gate of the city, the soldiers were heavily outnumbered and were getting slaughtered,
The mermaids had already entered the city and were heading towards the city lord's castle while killing everyone they see in their way,
The mermaids soon reached the castle and entered the courtroom,
They killed the officials and the city lord as soon as they entered the courtroom,
They then stood in the corners of the room,
Soon a mermaid women entered the courtroom and all of the mermaids kneeled,
A mermaid said,
"We have killed the city lord my queen "
The queen nodded and said,
"Kill all of the humans in the city too "
The mermaids bowed and quickly ran out from the courtroom,
The queen chanted a spell and cleared away the body of the city lord with water,
The queen then sat on the seat of the city lord,
The monsters have killed the soldiers guarding the gates of the city and were now trying to break the door,
The city lord's daughter has now sword cuts all over her body,
The demon was just making small cuts on her body each time she charged at him,
The girl was panting but has a determined expression on her face,
The demon was enjoying the expressions of the girl,
Demon said,
"You didn't get strong with the power of love... it's just your tendency increased "
The girl said,
"Only one of us will live to see another day "
"Hahahaha "The demon began laughing.
The girl charged at him again but the demon simply kicked her away while laughing.
She tried to stand up again but her body gave up,
The demon said,
"So the power of love don't affect the body "
The girl's eyes were closing as she was about to lose consciousness when she saw something flying towards the city,
She lost consciousness after that,
The demon walked up to her and said,
"You will not live to see another day "
He was going to stab the girl when someone said from behind,
"Don't you dare hurt her, demon "
The demon turned and saw Pete, Amira and the knights were flying towards him,
Pete said to the knights,
"Go help the citizens and the secure the city gates "
The knights quickly spread, half of them entered the city and started fighting with the mermaids while the other half secured the city gates,
The knights were all first rate warriors battle experienced, so they were easily able to recapture the gates,
The knights that went inside the city were fighting with the mermaids,
Pete and Amira landed near the demon,
Pete said,
"Get away from her demon "
Inside the city,
The knights and the mermaids were fighting,
Most of the mermaids were first rate warriors and they outnumber the knights too,
So the knights were losing as some of them were killed too,
The knights at the city gate were holding off the monsters but with the endless stream of the monsters, they were getting tired,
Pete and the demon were looking each other,
The demon smiled and said,
"Who are you? "
Pete said,
"I am the hero and I came here to put an end to the evil deeds of the demons "
The demon said,
"How are humans able to spout so much nonsense"
Pete unsheathed his sword,
As the sword was unsheathed, the dark energy emitting from the sword made the monsters nearby cower in fear,
The monsters began to move away from Pete,
The demon was mesmerized by the sword,
'Just what is this sword... the more I see it, the more it feels like my soul is leaving my body '
The demon said,
"What is that sword "
Pete said,
"This is the holy sword you demon "
The demon said,
"Don't joke around hero, even the unholy demon sword is not ominous like your sword"
Pete was surprised to hear this and said,,

The demon then sent some orcs towards Pete,
But the orcs stopped as they saw the dark holy sword in Pete's hand,
Pete took advantage of this and rushed towards the orcs and killed them,
The demon then sent couple of trolls at Pete, but they were also killed easily,
The demon said,
"How did the trolls died so easily with their high regeneration ability "
Pete smiled and said,
"This is the power of the holy sword "
The demon said,
"This kind of power doesn't suite the hero, so why don't you give that sword to the demons "
Pete charged towards the demon saying,
"You can take it but after you defeat me "
The demon dodged Pete but Pete attacked again,
This time the demon blocked the attack,
The dark energy absorbed some of the demon's aura as he blocked the attack,
After blocking couple of more attacks, the demon was now panting,
Pete said,
"Is this all a demon is capable of? "
